Blithe took a large book and walked them back to the sitting area in the back. She began to read them the story of Anastasia and explained what a princess was.
The shop owner, familiar by now to Salazarr walked over to where he stood. "That your honey over there? It's been a long time... didn't know you had pups." He said pushing up his glasses with a warm grandfatherly grin.

The girls listened so intently, leaning forward and eyes wide with wonder, it was adorable.

Blithe was absolute;y in love with the sweet little things. She'd always wanted a child of her own... a daughter even...

Salazar didn't notice the man until he had started talking. "Oh hey. Um no and yes. yes to the girls, no to the...girl." Quickly getting back on his train of thought, Salazar held out a few of the books he had been reading and started to the counter. "I'd like to buy these.

Blithe saw Salazaar move and sent the girls toward him with two large books of many stories that she knew would keep them busy a long while, then she began putting the others she'd gotten away without bothering the family, then walked out to keep from being arrested for loitering.

Salazar paid for their books and told the shopkeep to have a good day and all that jazz. They were walking outside when he spotted the girl who had been watching Eve and Ivy. he walked up to here and put a few bucks in her hand. "Thanks, for watching the girls."

Blithe gave the man a soft smile and a certain look that included looking up from under her lashes with the sun hitting her iris' just so that they looked watery and clear. She put the money back in his hand. She couldn't take money for such a minor doing, and even so it was far more a justice to her than the girls. For a little while she could pretend that she was normal and had a family... something to care about and the lifestyle she always wanted. "it was my pleasure sir, but honestly you don't need to pay me. I love children, and you needed a break. It was a mutual gift."

The two little girls stood on either side of Salazar, one holding onto his sleeve and the other gently holding onto his pant leg.
Eve smiled sweetly up at the girl. "Thank you for reading for us!"
Ivy nodded her head.

Blithe's heart warmed and she knelt beside the girls with a certain charm "You're very welcome. It was my pleasure." she said ruffing up Eve's hair and poking Ivy's nose. But feeling as though she may be overstepping a boundry she Stood again trying to look professional, but looked more like an awkward teenager. "You have very nice, very pretty little girls sir. And you've taught them wonderful manners." she said with a brisk tone, not snotty or rude, more reluctant to walk away than anything. She was going to try and hide her homelessness for the girls sake, and because she was ashamed of it, and found Salazaar attractive. She turned to walk toward the Icecream parlor and hide awhile though she knew she couldn't buy any.

Salazar thought it over. Well...My need to engage in homicidal behavior on a massive scale cannot be corrected but, uh, I have no other way to fulfill my needs. I could use a second hand with the girls. He rushed over to the girl and stopped her. "Hey. This might seem like an odd request but...I work nights and I could really use a helping hand with the girls. Are you free tonight?"

She looked at him a tad shocked and smiled abit. "no background check or... nothing?" She asked with a tiny playful smirk. the girls caught her eyes again, each time her heart melted.

Salazar wanted to say something along the lines of 'If you know whats good for you, you won't even think about hurting them' But it came out more like. "You seem like a good enough person. Does that mean you can do it?"

"I leave for work about 8 o clock, if you could be over about then it would be nice. I get home about 6 in the morning, so yeah. We can discuss more tonight." That being said he gave her the address of their house and sent her on her way. "Well. One last stop for today." He said proudly, grabbing the girls hands and going down the street. "We need to get Eve some art supplies."

Eve cheered and Ivy held Salazar's hand which was also carrying the large bag of books. They both smiled up at him then turned back to the nice lady, calling out as they walked out the door,
"Good bye!"
