A little bit later, Kirai came back in with a platter, on which were three silver goblets, a bottle of red wine with an assortment of fine cheeses and slices of different breads she had purchased in the Mainlands before returning to Vaclav. Sitting them down, she shot James a look that meant, 'one goblet, at most, for you.' She merely hoped he could control himself. After filling the goblets and handing them to each person, Kirai simply nodded and raised her goblet in acknowledgment before taking a sip. "Might I ask, has there been any interesting conversing I have missed out on?"

Kirai nodded her head and, resting her arm, gave a kind smile and asked, "So, would you mind telling me a little bit about yourself? Or why it is your traveled into Haven? For about two hundred years now, we've scarcely had any visitors..." She looked out the window at the snow, and chuckled, "Hardly a desirable vacation spot to most, I suppose."

Kirai nodded her head. "Yes... I try to assist anyone who comes along Vaclav who is in need of help." She thought to herself, I suppose... perhaps I do so in attempt to try to make up for all the lives I've claimed? Or perhaps, as repayment still for all the creatures, including fellow strigoii and nosferatu, I murdered while in the RCS so, so many years ago. The 'why' matters little.

James had the liquid in the goblet down quick than Kirai could say the word 'interesting'. He was almost insulted by Kirai thinking he could get drunk of of wine. Please, he was a professional. The best in the Mainlands AND the Outerlands after he won that round with Doc.

Taking another sip, Kirai eyed that James had already drank all the wine in his goblet. ....He didn't even take a moment to enjoy the aroma... She let out a little sigh, giving him a slight pout. Well, it is James after all, I do suppose... Moving her attention back over to Falicity, Kirai tilted her head and asked, "Please, do tell me more."

Kirai nodded and twirled her hand. "I can tell you are young, late teens, early twenties, perhaps? How are these special abilities posing problems for you... I would almost assume them to be blessings."

James listen to their conversation without much interest. He honestly didn't care much for hearing about peoples problems. Not to mention he was sad that Kirai didn't give him any harder drink. he imagined he would only get one glass of anything, but wine only had a 3% alcohol level. What was the point? Flavor? it didn't taste all that great. Aroma? What did he look like, some kind of chick? Eh women. Wait did she say mind control? "Thats lovely..." James muttered, sipping up the last droplets of wine. "Mind readers. I really hate mind readers...Nothing is private with them. It's like I'm an open book to be read. No respect for privacy."
