"Why would I hurt her?" Xavier replied laughingly when Summer went off to clean up. He continued to pet the snake cautiously on its back, watching it coil around his forearm. It was a very dark green, with two dark emotionless eyes. Both traits helped it survive here, or so he would guess. He would have to brush up again on his knowledge.
Fangs was sticking out her tounge a lot, apparently sniffing the new scenery around her. Xavier was looking at Lady, who looked very disgusted with the idea that they had picked up that scary creature. The nineteen year old just laughed when the mare turned away from him to graze nonchalantly. Hopefully, she wouldn't get so frightened again when they would ride back, he thought briefly - maybe on the ride he would have to give Fangs back to Summer. Was Shadow afraid of the snake? He looked over at the other snow white mare, smiling when he realized they looked so alike.
Kahlilia walked Ben over to a spot where she was about ten feet from the willow that Roman had pointed to and looked back at him, her face glowing with her excitement.
Benvolio replied with another whicker, this one sounding eager. Kahlilia looked from one horse to the other for a second, briefly wondering what they were saying. She laughed lightly when she figured they were just as excited as she and Roman were. Giving Roman a quick and semi-sheepish smile she gave Benvolio a signal to start running and was startled when he burst out into a full canter that made her feel like she was a blur.
Benvolio finished in about a minute, more or less, and whickered in the same way again to Phoenix. Kahlilia's eyes were wide, but she just started laughing after a second and petting Benvolio gently.

(ok thank you and yes we do miss you misery)
"Your a guy how do I know you won't take the chance to disect Fangs or something like that," Summer replied to him as she washed the mud from her body. Summer noticed that Shadow was eyeing the snake with a look of curiosity. Summer smiled to herself then got out of the river and walked back over to Xavier whistling for Shadow as she walked.
Shadow walked over to where Summer stood with Xavier and watched at Summer took then snake from him. Summer held the snake out to Shadow and shadow sniffed at the snake and decided she liked what she saw. Meanwhile Fangs's tongue was moving in and out of her mouth testing the air and found she liked Shadow's scent, for she slithered up Shadow's nose and the horse snorted as though in laughter.
Summer moved back away from Shadow and smiled at Xavier, "I believe they have just consented to become friends." She then laughed and motioned toward the river, "You should go get cleaned up." Shadow had wondered over to the river and was walking in the water which was washing the mud from her coat, "I just noticed this but our horses almost look alike."

Xavier just laughed when he heard Summer's response and gently handed Fangs back to her so he could wash himself off. He pretty much plunged into the river, far away from Shadow as not to startle her but close enough so that he was visible, of course. He took only a few minutes to clean the mud off because it looked more like he was swimming, and got back up onto the grass soaking wet. But being Xavier, he was smiling. He was in a silly mood, and it was showing.
Xavier nodded, "Makes me wonder if they're related in some way? Eh, I dunno." He said casually, looking over at the two mares for a second. He was aware that he was in fact the only guy now, because even Fangs was apparently female. Oh well, it was okay with him. He sort of liked having this many girls. It was fun.
Lady looked up and nudged Xavier's shoulder impatiently, probably wanting to go riding again. In response, he reached over to stroke her long nose and smiled again. "Want to go back?"

"Not really but I guess we had better before another snake somes along and scares Lady again, but I had other plans for coming out here," Summer said with a smile. She put Shadow's saddle back on her and put on her clothes that she had taken off to swim. She then mounted Shadow and looked over at Xavier while gently holding onto fangs, "Well let's get going lover boy," she smiled and shadow started to trot away.

((OOC: Roman and Kahlilia are now training their horses to jump and race, respectively. Esmeralda is kind of fading in and out of the picture, since she's not with anyone at the moment - she's off riding Sahara somewhere. Summer and Xavier are fooling around by a river somewhere, and Xavier is still apparently unaware of the prank Esmeralda, Chris and Kahlilia pulled on him. Otherwise, we are awaiting developments.))
Roman checked his time, and breathed out softly. "Christ, Lily." That was all he said for several minutes. Then, very slowly, he looked up at the girl. "Your horse just ran the circle of that pond in forty-seven seconds and change. On completely uneven terrain. Can you imagine what he would do on an honest-to-God racetrack?" He shook his head slowly. "Shannon's had a rocket living here for as long as she's had Ben. I think he could win, Lily. If he was trained and run, I think he could win. Maybe not one of the really big races, but some smaller ones."
Phoenix tossed his head eagerly, his eyes on the logs. Roman chuckled wearily, resetting his watch. "Well, I'm going to take Phoenix jumping for a bit, and then we can run Ben again and see if that was just a fluke. But I don't think it was."

Nanina walked carefully and quietly behind Chris, she bit to lip to keep from laughing, hoping he wouldn't notice that she was there.

Chris headed toward the barn and heard footsteps behind him not sure who it was. He keep on walking and then started to enter the barn. "Nanina where are you?!" he yelled out still searching for her and smiling to himself.

Chris's smile grew broader he turned around and grabbed her waist and hosted her up into his arms, "So it was you who was behind me." he held her gently in his arms making sure she didn't escape.

Nanina smiled, nodding her hand. "Guess I'm not a very good ninja." It was very clear that Nanina had slept well the night before, for happiness practically radiated from her. It was the dream she'd had, that made her this way. Tipping her cowboy had lower on her forhead, Nanina drawled, "Best put me down. Bad thing could happen."

"Nope guess your not but your one sexy cowgirl," Chris said laughing. "What sorta bad things could happen if i dont put you down?" he asked her as he walked into the barn still carrying her.
