"Ack!" Daniel nearly jumped out the pilots seat. Startled at the fact that Sylvian was now present and quite close to his ear. also he hadn't heard him/her move to get that close either.
The Khaos jerked slightly to one side before Daniel got it back under control. "Sheesh Sylvian, what was that about?" Steam hissed out of the seams and plates of Dan's arms in short puffs, a testament to his racing heart/pump.
The quick movement of the ship startled the sky dolphins a bit, but they just swooped around and resumed their dance.

Alexandria stared in awe at the sky-dolphins, wondering how they managed to say in the air so easily. She turned around to see someone standing behind the captain. "Captain...Who is Sylvian?" She nodded to him warily, having not heard him approach.

[Galley]
Penelope heard Mr Daniel make an announcement about the sky dolphins. She loved sky dolphins. As a child, her grandfather would take her to watch them any time they came near the Anachronism. He would tell her of his time as a sailor both on the sea and in the sky. Penelope, herself, had never seen the oceanic dolphins.
The ship jerked slightly, the motion brought her out of her memories. The vague smile slid from her face, but was quickly replaced with a grin. There were sky dolphins! She almost tripped over herself as she bolted from the galley. Penelope took the stairs two at a time to get to the deck to watch the sky dolphins. She held the railing and leaned over the side to get as close to them as she could.

~bridge~ The woman wearing the baggy clothes of Myles Million turns around and trips lightly toward Alexandria. She walks around the cartographer as if examining a new bit of furniture that has been added to the house.
"I am, of course."
And then she goes and sticks her head out of a porthole to see the sky dolphins.

He swayed uneasily until he heard the captain call out about the sky dolphins, and follows Penelope. He had seen the dolphins several times at the flying church, for they were often drawn in by the harmonious songs that the sisters sang as they fixed the airships day in and day out. Stepping out onto the deck he leans on the railing and smiles, squinting to see if any of the dolphins had tags on their fins.
"Beautiful-" It was as if somebody had slammed a 50lb sledge hammer into his head like a carnival Strongman Challenge bell. He falls forward, passing out from the sheer agony of pain that was exploding in his brain.

Alexandria turned around in a circle quickly. "What has happened to Mr.Myles?" She looks curiously at the woman as she walked around her.

She pulls her head back in. "I got bored. So I waited until we were away from the city, and then I waited for just the right moment and gave him a push. And now I'm out here. and he's in here." And she points to her head.
"It's for the best anyway. Secretly he'd been wishing he could continue his nap. And now he can."

"Yeah. How many of them do you think there are?" Penelope whispered. She reached out to touch one of the air dolphins, but it was just out of reach. When no answer was forthcoming from Mr Finagle, she looked over at him. He was laying on the deck like he had fallen. Penelope knelt beside him and rolled him onto his back, trying to see if he was breathing. He was.
With a shaky sigh of relief, Penelope stood. She looked around, then identified one of the speaker tubes on a wall nearby. She rushed to it. "Mr Daniel, can you hear me? I need Doctor Tennant on the deck. Mr Finagle just fainted or something...he's not responding." there was panic in her voice. Her eyes continued to dart from the door to him.

Alexandria stared at Sylvian opened mouthed for a good few minutes before she heard Penelope's frantic voice shooting through speaking tube into the bridge.
She looked worriedly at the Captain to send for the Doctor before launching herself down the stairs and out onto the deck.
"Penelope? The Captain will send for the Doctor. What happened?"

yousha shot up in his hammock.. and fell out as a result from loss of balance.
he rolled about on the floor and then stood up, stretching out and yawning, he walked past a ledge of scrap metal and picked up one of his explosive cubes, and began to tinker with it. he climbed up the ladders of the aft and into the crew corridors, aimlessly wandering around.

Sylvian heads down the steps to the deck, followed obediently by Triskadeca.

The woman still in Myles' clothes goes to the railing and leans over to watch the dolphins with a smile, not paying a lick of attention to the dramatic scene right next to her. Then she turns to the clank. "Go find an unoccupied cabin, and move my chest to it. Then find me something more comfortable to wear and bring it here."
Triskadeca exits below deck.

Penelope knelt back beside Mr Finagle when Miss Alexandria appeared, assured that the doctor would be notified and on her way soon. "I--I don't know. We came up to watch the dolphins and he just dropped." she fidgeted with the hem of her blouse.
It was scary for Penelope, being the only witness to whatever had happened. She was afraid that he had been shot or something at first, but there would have been a report and blood. He had just passed out. It worried her more to not know why.

“Abigail? Oh, that’s a pretty name! And I’m glad to hear that about before, it was a bit worrying to imagine getting off on the wrong foot here.” Lenore smiled happily, if not a little bit confusedly. I wonder what was so stressful… “Hm… are things always that way here? The members of the crew I’ve met so far seem to be pretty nice and easygoing, but… the ship itself seems like it’s been through a bit recently, so I suppose you all have too, which I suppose doesn’t help stress levels any, does it?” Laughing, she nodded. “And you guessed right, with the passenger bit. The ship seems lovely! I’ve only seen the galley though. Well, mainly the galley; did peek around the hallways and into your office on the floor above -thought it was the galley - and a bunk below… I suppose that’s actually a fair bit of the ship then. In any case, it’s been great so far!” She stopped for breath, then looks sheepish. “Ah, I’m rambling again, my apologies.”
During her little rant, she had been studying the package surreptitiously. It seemed that the doctor (Abigail, she reminded herself. It’s a good idea to start remembering people’s names.) was a little nervous about it. I wonder why… and what was the bad news, if the thing itself wasn’t. And what’s in it. And why the guy didn’t just deliver it himself - not that I minded. And who it’s from. And… She poked herself mentally. No, stop that right now. You aren’t allowed to be overly nosy about this, this time. She smiled again brightly, and continued right where she left off. “And it was no trouble at all, really!”
She missed the first announcement about the departure, but caught the one about the sky dolphins. “Oh, I’ve heard of those, but never actually caught sight of them in person before. I wonder if they look anything like sea dolphins. A fine start to a voyage, in any case!” she said happily.

If chopping his head off would stop the massive jack hammering that was happening inside of his head, he would do it. He groans, biting his lip as he clutches his head. Even the occasional strait-on flying pipe wrench to the head didn't even cause this much pain.

Alexandria knelt beside Penelope and clasped her hands.
"I'm sure he'll be alright. Don't worry." She stole an anxious glance at the doors leading to the deck, hoping the doctor would appear.
"Do you think we should move him to the medical bay?"
