heart Woeful, I voted for yours! good luck.  Actually have traditional artwork now! Well, mostly due to my art class (still life, portrait, painting) and the last just for fun and practice. First 2 had references.     Still need to get frames for them XD I pretty much planned out where each one would go as I did them heart Though one lady keeps trying to convince me to sell the faries painting to her... I'm just too attatched, plus it's a portfolio piece >,<

 ^^;; i could use some help from any of the lovely artists in here, i drew the above.. its just i was trying to figure out how to detail out the wing ^^; i cant seem to figure out how to draw in all the feathers without making them all look like littal oval shapes >.<;; anyone have any ideas?

Okay, just think of a feather. It's a vein with lots of little weins branding ff it - it's not an oval, more like a leaf shape. Now, a wing's made up of a zillion feathers going from smallest at the top t larger and longer at the bottom. Just get a ref pic of a bird, and it gets relatively easy. Hot stuff, Kiriko! And Soti, i looove the way you paint. I'm pissed at myself for having missed the end of your auction.
