((Oh ******** style="color: darkgreen">Fire was exchanged between the stars and the heavier guns of the Hammerheads shattered a few of the defenders, though not without taking some hits of their own. A corridor littered with asteroid dust was blasted through the field to the main prison but the prison guards maintained their defensive barrage.
Then, as though suddenly catching on to what the attackers were doing,
the cannons hastily redirected their fire from the hammerheads and fighters and almost frantically tried to shoot down the powering up Trireme.

Cut as much life support as you can spare! Focus all power to the frontal shields and engines! Get to that facility!!

The Hammerheads begane SitRepping their damage. The turned around, as to make the best escape when it was needed. The cargo ships were prepared with armed troops for extraction of VIPs.

The trireme was going full speed towards the facility. It was taking blows, but with most of the power on engine and shields, Koren was hoping they would make it in a piece strong enough to destroy the facility mostly. He wasn't planning on keeping this ship usable after this rescue.

((Its a Trireme. It was built for this sort of s**t.))

The Trireme's shields met the shield's of the facility, and the prison's gave way. The Prow of the ship crashed into the facility, the superheated ram cutting through durasteel, permacrete and spacerock like butter as the force of the impact shook the whole asteroid.
The Facility was breached. Already atmosphere was leaking from the levels the corvette had torn into and the Corvette had taken minor damage at best. Shields went up to contain atmo as the prison guards began arming themselves for invaders.

Koren had succeeded with part one. He had breached Oovo IV. Now, as he donned his helmet and buckled on all of his weapons, stage two would commence. Finding and freeing Stryder.
The company of some 300 Mercenary soldiers began battling their way into the prison, with 20 or so staying with Koren, who would lead the rescue itself.

The engineers and crew were already working on getting the ship out of the rock and back into space. If it was not possible, the 6 boarding shuttle would make great escape craft. And a self-destructing Trireme would not only shut down the Republics famous prison, but would give them a chilling message.
"Don't use scapegoats that have loyal, PAID, followers."

((...galactic marines?...))
Unprepared for such a strong attack, the underarmed and armored prison guards had to make do with thier collection of riot and stun gear, which was rather ineffective against armored marines equiped with blasters. The defenders were steadily beaten back and began giving up rather large amounts of ground rather than die for their job.

"Greetings Rook," spoke the holographic image of the Dar'jetti, shifting into existence. "I apologize for having to leave the system so suddenly, especially after calling you here, but I am as subject to the whims of my superiors as any soldier.

But apologies are not why I have summoned you here. I have considered your previous request, and have drawn up a list of targets that could prove troublesome. The list is on the datapad next to my throne,"
said the hologram, pointing towards a small table.

"You'll find the reward for the successful completion of each mission on the right side of the screen. You can pursue them in any order you wish, though there is one task I would like you to complete first..."

"I dont think I'd want any of what you would consider food." Cene replied. "Besides, I dont trust you. Or like you."
The Mandalorian turned back to her ship and boarded it, locking the vessel down to prepare and rest until the start of the event.

Ritt dived back, as he took on one of the escort fighters, it's dodging and weaving no match for the superior Aurek's capabilities. The Aurek, still after so long, held dominance as the premiere fighter design in the sky, still beating on down its rival in terms of speed, maneuverability, and survivvability rate.

"I have you now," he muttered, as the blips on the screen affirmed the ability for a lockon, as the blasterbolts tore the fighter up into a familiar blaze. He looked back, with two on his tail.

"Aurora, i'm going to swing wide around the station. I'll take on the leader, just watch out for debris," he said, as he cut around the equatorial axis of the station at blinding speed, purposely going wide and cutting power to watch the first fighter blow by into his sights.

"So be it," Nakara stated. The night passed, and turned into day, as he hauled out the bodies of several dead assassins out to the hangar, releasing air pressure and letting their corpses float into space, before re-establishing the air pressure. The competitors all had been given a datapad early in the morning announcing the data of the time, relay, and starting line in orbit.

Being prepared, he had already jumped to the first waypoint, and watched as the teams were deploying a large ring in the atmosphere around Toydaria, hovering and cloaked, but enough to give the inhabitants a scare as the ai made sure to not be detected until the first racers flew by. This would give data to the craft on its second jump point, a cloaked ring that sat near Ruusan's second moon. Each ring was around a hundred meters wide, but Nakara only had four to use, so he dared not let them get damaged.

As the racers made their way, he let the droids know to start once the ready signal had been issued by all entrants, via the nodes that had been installed over the night to their ships. It might be a good race afterall...

Koren was proud of his merc troopers. They were easily burning their way through the weakling guards like a knife cutting through water. And now it was time to go and do what he did best. Fight his own way through hordes of fools, not powerful enough to stop him from freeing an unjustly imprisoned man.

Koren rushed into the prison, with his 20 troops and tucked in behind the other soldiers. He quickly found an alternative route and ordered his small force of men forward, leaving the other merc soldiers to their fun.

As soon as they were out of combat and through the door, Koren pulled up the schematics of the facility, or at least, the bare skeleton of schematics, which was the best the Intelligence officer had to offer. He quickly found a waypoint/security station, where he would be able to decipher the location of Stryder.

With a wave of his hand, his men were carefully moving forward in planned formation, ready for action.

According to their Intell, The Mercenaries deterimned that Stryder was in the lower, maximum security wing of the prison, above the mine where inmates labored. They would have to take one of the freight elevators down to that level to reach him.

Meanwhile the prison guards made a panicked decision. Faced with the aggressive well armed, and seasoned mercs, the guards decided to fight fire with fire. They opened the cells, releasing the inmates to slow down the mercs. Now some of the worst scum in the Galaxy were being thrown at Koren's men, all of them eager for blood.

Aurora pushed her fighter to its limits, trying to stay in formation with her wing leader as he dived back and engaged an enemy fighter craft, blowing it into a ball of firry death. She had fallen behind Ritt by a hundred meters as he twisted and turned his fighter. Her inexperience at combat was a small source of annoyance to her, and she saw the sith fighters fall onto Ritt’s tail.
Apparently Ritt had seen them as well as his voice crackled over her comm system at the same time as one of the fighters strayed into her HUD’s crosshairs. There was no conscious thought, only peace as her finger squeezed around the firing stud, ending the fighter’s existence in this universe.
“Roger Ritt.” She didn’t recognize her own voice as she responded to his instructions, it sounded distend and detached. She though her stick over and kicked her rudder peddles to follow him as he rounded the station, only to catch up with his ship as he slowed down, allowing the enemy fighter to shoot past his as she fell back onto his wing.

"Why don't you take the lead, Aurora," Ritt stated, shifting behind her in a brief pause of the action. "So far they haven't really been too difficult to manage with. I want to see what you come up with, over."

Koren's commlink beeped at the worst time. He was attempting to sneak through the prison complex with his men undisturbed. He hastily picked it up with a hushed tone.

What is it?!

A young man's voice was on the other line, huffing heavily and sounding somewhat panicked.

Sir, we're outnumbered by inmates. They set the whole damn prison loose!

Calm down soldier. Pull back slowly, fend them off, but make your way back to the ship. Get it off of this rock and rendevous with the other two ships. I'll give more orders from there. And if you're going to die, give them hell before you do. Dismissed.

Koren shut the commlink and clicked it back onto his belt. He cracked his knuckles and addressed his men.

Alright men, our backup is gone so from now on, we're the cavalry. I want this done clean and efficiently. When we're done, I'll buy you all drinks. Now move out soldiers!

“Roger lead.” Aurora firewalled the throttle, the Aurek’s tail glowed red hot, giving chase after the fleeing Buzzard. Its pilot, realizing that he had made a mistake pulls a right brake and dives. Aurora jerks her stick and kicks the rudder, rolling her bird to dive after her prey, the Aurek responds smartly, her targeting computer softly mumbling into her ear.
She pulls the stick into her gut, fighting to pull lead on the Buzzard and set her piper onto her target. The buzzard continues through its diving right turn, pulling out and rolling wing lateral as it heads back to the station in a vain attempt to shake the young padawan pilot from his tail.
Aurora levels her bird off as she chases the buzzard, her piper dancing on the tail end of the Buzzard’s over-sized engine nozzle, her targeting computer started to growl louder as the space station looming before the two speeding fighter craft. Aurora immediately realizes what the buzzers pilot has in mind, but she was not going to allow him the chance to turn the tables on her as Ritt had done to him. The two fighters close on the station, its massive girth filling the canopy.
Aurora squeezed on her guns, her targeting computer growling angrily away in her ear. Red-hot energy spat out from her bird, impacting into the rear of the buzzard. The sith war bird started to disintegrated before Aurora’s eyes, shedding pieces of it’s fuselage as it rolled to the left, and Aurora couldn’t believe what she saw.
The buzzards canopy flew off as it’s pilot ejected from his doomed craft, his acceleration seat’s rockets firing to propel him clear as his fighter shuddered and exploded in a fiery ball of expanding gas, only to slam him into the hull of the space station. Aurora averted her eyes from the carnage as her fighter zoomed past the grizzly seen in the blink of the eye.
“Ritt?” Her voice was steady over the comlink as she expanded her senses beyond her fighter and her eyes glanced at the rear view mirrors and she craned her neck around to check her tail.

"Looks like you got a little peppered. What, do you want a cookie? There's plenty more where that one came from," Ritt said over the com, as he fired a pair of clusters at a nice quartet, knocking most down. As the duo rounded the station, he looked out, still somewhat puzzled.

"Only the fighters and frigates are attacking, I wonder what the cruisers are waiting for..."
