Layna's eyes widened in surprise. "Zarathos." She gasped out, her heart pounding. "You...You scared me." She whispered.

"To tell the truth, this is my first time in here..." Lucifer admitted. He didn't usually go to indoor public places too often, especially when there are spikes in Hunter activity.

Cynder glanced over at Zarathos and Layna, and sighed. "True love... Am I never to find it...?" she muttered under her breath, too quietly for anyone to hear. "I haven't been here very often, but I have come a couple times for food."

Lucifer crossed his arms and closed his eyes. "So now what to do?" He asked, getting bored with standing around, looking at the love-birds in the background.

Cynder shrugged. "I'm going to go fetch my meal." she strode towards the boy she had talked to earlier. "So you're not with him?" he asked suspiciously, and Cynder shook her head. "We're... Aquiantances, you could say." she sighed, and took his hand. She led him around the counter and out of the mall, where his screams of death were muffled. She returned only moments later, wiping the blood from her lips unsuccessfully. "A little bland, but good nonetheless." she laughed darkly.

"Poor soul..." Lucifer said quietly. "Never had a chance in Hell." Lucifer was leaning on a post at the moment, as he had been waiting for her return. He looked into Cynder's eyes. "Your eyes have a much different feel to them, they are filled with a multitude of things..." He said, trying to comment and figure out why he even cared in the first place. All he knew was that he was acting much nicer than usual, a reminder of his human life...

Cynder stared in confusion at Lucifer. "Are you alright?" she asked, concerned. She shook her head slightly, wondering why she even cared. "What types of things?" she added.

"It's nothing..." Lucifer said, darting his head in another direction.

Cynder cocked her head curiously, and laid a hand on his arm. "Come on, Lucifer. You can tell me." she stated firmly, smiling.

"It's that...." He began to speak, "it's nothing, really." He got really quiet, his body not moving even an inch. He pressed his teeth hard against each other, frustrated at himself.

He sighed. "Your eyes entise me, you entise me." He spat out, forcing his lips to form those words. They were pretty emotionless, as he was still trying to understand what his emotions were doing to him.

"Fresh meat." Astarte whispered. She followed two unknown immortal scents to the shopping mall and was in the mood to play. She leaned against an escalator and watched them nonchalantly from a distance.

Cynder's eyes narrowed, and she suddenly took a step backwards, stumbling before regaining her balance. Her teeth clenched, but she didn't say anything.

Diego slid laying down the middle gap between the escaltors. As he neared the bottom he pushed himself off into the air landing on his feet, he skidded to a short halt. As soon as his feet hit the bottom the scent of Astarte hit him. He wheeled about on his heels facing her. "Fance meeting you here."
