We're all just different people doing things in different ways. No reason to feel inferior.
(I'm also older then most of you... which should make any possible gap in experience more understandable. I've had time to grow. [and if you don't believe me, look at what my RPing USED to be... [Cobra's Early Years]) My eyes!!! I haven't seen anything this bad since I was little, and I tried to rp on Neopets for the first time!!!!! Yes I played neopets... they were cool...

...I just happen to be OP enough on my own that no one can say anything about it, since it's impossible to separate whether it's just me or the Konaga bloodline that makes that character so hardcore/awesome.That's right, because both of them work together. The Konaga bloodline has a significant effect on the RPC's personality, and how you craft them out with your awesome is beyond me, but they still turn out awesome. Makes me feel inferior, self-belittlement. How long have you be role playing Cobra?
In my mind, making things up and developing characters and ideas... many years, probably around 10 years.
Playing D&D, which involves a good amount of verbal role-playing, with a defined character design and concept behind it... I'd say a solid 4-5 years.
Role-playing on Gaia... we'll go with however long it's been since I joined... which is *checks profile*... almost 4 years. My first character in a guild ever was a patient in a mental institute who had super-human speed, but didn't know it until the RP started. it was awesome... a lot of fun in that RP. The guild died though, eventually branching me off into my own RP/Charity thread, then eventually, to another guild... and beyond that into VR at some point.
...so yeah, there's the long version of my answer.Whoa! another fellow D&D player! ^.^ I thought I was the only one in this guild! ^.^ so what vrsion did you start out in? I've got 10 years under my blet on D&D ^.^ Started playing at the age of 4! As a result I can relay emotion through words like no other! ^.^
...I've played a few GURPS campaigns as well, along with a few other modified D&D systems.Gurps? I'm not familiar with that one. blaugh I haven't been able to play for a long time, but so far my favorite D&D base has to be Scion hands down. also 3.5 was fun, but 4.0 is so much more like a video game! (( mostly because it was meant for a WoW upgrade ))

*Has no clue What D&D is* Dungeons and Dragons. >.> ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyxnEKTjhj0That is not D&D!!! anyways, D&D is dungeons and dragons, and is a role playing game that you play with friends, it is where you create a character using a sheet of paper as an outline, and you fill in the blanks, when you finish this, you start out to roleplay, going slowly at first, but gaining speed and going on and on until you reach the end of that character's band of friends' adventure, and then the campaign ends, and you start all over. ^.^and levels are alot harder to get to in that then any other game ^.^
