Nina blushed, smiling at him as she gave his hand a quick squeeze, she stayed silent, there was nothing she needed to say at the moment.

"Well, here we are. I guess..." Jack said, indicating to a mostly intact hotel. "According to the data I downloaded from those possessed robots, this place should have some of the nicest beds and a decent handful of working refrigerator with food that hasn't yet spoiled."

"Um, Jack, can you cook?" Nina asked sheepishly, she couldn't cook if her life depending on it. She could use magic and have the magic cook for her, but that mostly wound up blowing up in some way.

Jack chuckled a little, digging around in the fridge. He then started digging in the freezer. "Hey, there's hamburger patties! And for some reason they have the buns in the freezer, too. All the veggies are gone, save for a jar of pickle chips, which is lucky for us."

"Cucumbers dipped in evil..." Jack repeated, chuckling. "That's an even better reason for me to eat them!" He pulled out the packages of patties and buns out, then turned to Nina and asked, "Did ya see a microwave anywhere? We can wrap the buns in a paper towel and toss them in there for thirty seconds..."
