I wouldn't know anything about your little town. xd There's a few that I know of, like Little Flower Academy, Crofton House, Corpis Christi (wait, I think that's a private elementary school), and an all-boys one that I cannot seem to recall the name of.... But that is by no means a complete list. Boys? You've forgotten about St. George's, and University Hill for co-ed. Corpus Christi is a catholic college in UBC no? Also Our Lady of Perpetual Help near UBC, plus all the not-so-famous St. Catholic and Christian schools.

yenyit mystic_emerald Dullest prof huh? So far it has to be my English Lit prof. Her name is Gooch I think. She's really nice but dang, it's nearly impossible to stay awake as she drones on and on, in a soft voice, maintaining an almost monotone effect throughout the entire lecture... And as for hard markers, I don't really mind those types if they can teach well and I can learn something from them. That is, after all, the most important thing in my books (since I have to pay so much for my education anyhow xp ). And geez, tell me about it! With a regular timetable (5 courses/term) you can easily blow 1k on textbooks alone. lol still know more then me sweatdrop ...dullest professor I known was last semester...intermediate acct 2 teacher...only teacher able to put me to sleep..was so hard trying to keep awake...no wonder I don't know waht I was doing...had to learn myself xp 5 courses?..that's a lot *patpat* poor emerald @mystic_emerald: Hah which Eng. Lit is it? Are you and yenyit both at UBC? So far I've been really lucky for Eng lit... but it boils down to "it's not my thing". Textbook... don't even mention. 3 courses this sem, around 260... one bible alone for religious studies costs 72.00 alone, whereas a thin course pack for another course is 62.00 @yenyit Haha you expect accounting teachers to be that lively? I thought deadliness is a trait of accountants

Vancouver is a separate city. Vancouver and the surrounding towns form an area known as the Lower Mainland. Yes, that is the boys school I forgot the name of! xd And you're right about Corpus Christi College in UBC, but there is another school by that name in east Van. It is quite near my own elementary school. And yes, awesome job for finding the link. ^^

I took ENGL 220 last term. I'm at UBC, but I think yenyit's at Douglas. And lol, I thought course packets were significantly cheaper than textbooks (no more than $20 at most) but yeah, I had to buy one for econ for $61 this term.
