It was the forest that Jade would find himself traveling through. The trees tail and lush as the moon rose high above him ...it's light beaming through the foliage to give a magically look to the place. The sparkles of light that seem to enchant the everything they touched as a howl ripped through the area.
The promise of a fight if he wasn't careful ...as eyes watches him in the darkness. Or maybe, that was the howl from another such fight ....as the Poochyena's voice could be heard beyond followed by one and then another. The song of battle ....one that he might want to be careful not to disrupt.

Though the Heatmor was the guardian of this area, and he wasn't the guardian for nothing as the boy mocked him and then this little ball of sparks decided it was going to attack him. He didn't even bother to position himself better he simply drew his claw back and drove it forward ...he was going to split this stupid pokemon in two with the force of his night slash as he aimed for the Cyndaquil's side. The small pokemon's head was down and his aim was a tackle that no only did the Heatmor not fear, but considering what he was attempted only aided his attack.
NO, this battle wouldn't be long at all.
His eyes dark as he could call out to the Cyndaquil.
((You are one to call my nose pointed ...where is your jaw exactly?))
He asked, because not only is he a strong pokemon, but vanity seems to run in his line as well. The attack if it connected would have flames of pure darkness explode out of the opposite side of the Cyndaquil. A testament to the power of his night slash.(7 - 4 + 9 - 9 = 3dmg -heatmor) Capture roll: 18

(I'm sorry I only know how to calculate damage when one is dodging or defending while the other is attacking. Not at the same time. So can you do it this one time?)

"Archer calm down! You going cra-" Tsuki said before evading a shot of fire from his Pokemon. God this guy was getting on Tsuki's nerves.
Growling, reveiling his jaw Archer continued -Right here. It's a shame my so called trainer want to capture you. That attack did nothing.- going in for another Tackle. Tsuki figured he'd have Archer learn his lesson the hard way. When he got hurt, not too much, he'd switch him out for Prime. Who by the way was on his trainers shoulder. Getting a thought Prime told Heatmor-Beat Archer good, he has a big mouth!-

The attack hit as those claws missed, but, it seemed he wasn't done as the Cyndaquil would bounce off. Opening his maw, but it didn't really show off his jaw ...a strange mouth that went straight into the pokemon's face, didn't exactly count as a jaw ...considering it didn't exactly seem to stretch all the way around and seemed to be stuck on one side.
Or that was the Heatmor's opinion of it ....as he once more drew his claw again for another Night Slash. A counter-attack it would seem this time, especially considering that the Growlithe had won that last fight ....as the pokemon suddenly changed tactics the moment he heard the words of the Mankey. Since when did he do the bidding of trainers and their stupid pokemon ...as he blew out flames from his maw height enough to turn a durant to dust.
His flames spewing forth as he used Incinerate instead of Night slash at the last moment.

The Natu would find herself quite lucky. Just right next to her, just about two of her own tiny steps next to her, the claws struck the ground. Specter, though strong, lacked one thing you needed in a fight...good aim. Well, when you only have a single eye, your depth perception isn't all that great.
Her fangs were still bared, however, as she pulled her claws out of the ground with ease. Unlike the Growlithe before her, she took her battles seriously...and in most cases, it was to the death. Nearly her own, even. She crossed her claws in front of her, like a shield, her eye narrowing as she stared the Natu down. No little green bird was going to take her down. She would not allow for a mistake like that, her parents would be disappointed.
      Pokemon: Zangoose [F] Name & Level: Specter, Lv4 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Met on an island, Carmine had originally killed this Zangoose after beating her father. Ada had felt so guilty after that, that when given the opportunity to take any Pokemon she had found there home with her as a copy, she had chosen to take Specter, it was as close as reviving her as she could get. Stats: HP: 21/21, PP: 21, ATK: 16, DEF: 9, SPD: 13, SP. ATK: 11, SP. DEF: 11 Moves: Nightslash || Ice Punch || Leer Item: N/A EXP: 0/300 [ 2/??? ]

The Natu almost left bird drops on the ground with that near miss. She had survived a death blow by inches as she saw the dent in the earth. Yes, this wasn't a easy battle at all, but she was going to prevail ...because as she looked upwards into the pokemon's eyes she saw it there. That scorn, that look where her kind was put down for simply being small and Natu.
Their power was always underestimated. In fact, it was so bad, that there was almost never a trainer that wanted to capture them ...despite their prowess in battle. Her eyes glowed as she open her beak as a green ball would start to form inches from it...she would fire it forward at her.
Giga Drain.
A way to gain strength and reduce his enemies strength all in the same move. That alone should have made her the pokemon to capture, but she knew, she knew from the look on the Zangoose's face they were all the same. Those that doubt her strength would fall to it.

NATU REGAINED 4HP
Natu HP: 14Specter was caught completely off guard. She had expected a physical move, after all, like the one that brought down Impromptu. Instead she got Giga Drain, and the ball slipped through her claws and over to her chest, a faint green beam connecting the two as energy was transferred before it faded away. Specter grunted, hunching over slightly as her bushy tail drooped.
This is what she got for not paying attention. And now, the opponent had taken her strength and was using it as their own. She gave off another low growl, very well then, she'd have to destroy the very energy that had been taken! "> You'll pay for that one! <" she exclaimed, her claws gaining that shadowy glow to them once more.
She lunged forwards, tail whipping slightly back and forth now as she let out a rather feral snarl, claw thrusting out and at the Natu. One Nightslash, she just needed to be able to hit such a tiny thing for one...even if that wasn't enough to finish it, it would certainly do a good deal.

She stood with her small wings pulled away from her body. The bit of drool dangling down from between a few of her primary feathers.
(I was mauled and slobbered on by that ....dog ....do you really think that little hit makes us even enough to be taking about payback?)
The Natu declares as once more she would move to avoid that claw. Her wings closing with a snap ...as she pushes her feet against the ground. True she could probably end this match a lot quicker if she attacked, but it was those claws. That darkness that forced her to back down, small glimpse of something so destructive that even her ability to see into the future was threaten with extinction in the face of it.
No, she must be touched by those claws, and she couldn't risk it ...no matter what she did ...as she rolled out of the way this time. Her plan to end up back on her talons so that her next strike can be even deeper than the first.

Aella's aim would be perfect...maybe too perfect. Rather then striking the Skarmory as it flew out of range, the Thundershock made contact with it's rapidly descending leave-behind.
Electrically charged. the faecal matter would explode, showering the entire area in small pieces off it. Victoria would come out completely untouched...the same could not be said for her Emolga. It would take awhile to wash that out...

It was true, he had no need to fight this arachnid now. He simply wished to leave this place behind him. To return to the Academy and obtain his next mission.

Natu HP: -10"> The dog and I are two separate beings...while he can take a few of those drains without much injury, I can't risk it! <" she was appalled that they had even been compared. And now, those claws that had come so close before would hit their mark all too well. Before another thought could come to the Natu's mind, she was pierced, stabbed, right in the center of her spherical body.
"w-whoa..." Ada stuttered, eyes wide as she looked at the sight. Blood was already draining out, and she could see it quite clearly - those claws went in through the side and came out of the other. Specter put the body against the ground, putting her foot on it and extracting her claw. The tips, now about the same crimson as her body, were dripping with the Natus own life essence.
She turned to Ada, who had gone abit pale from the kill. Gritting her teeth, she took a claw and began to draw in the dirt, a figure that looked somewhat like a ghastly. She then looked up at Ada expectantly. The girl gulped, "Its a...ghost?" the Zangoose growled, "Okay! Okay! Then, maybe, its...a specter?" The Zangoose nodded slightly, pointing at herself. "Oh! You're Specter!"
Specter pointed a claw at her. "> And don't you forget it <" she warned. She grabbed the Luxury Ball in the girls hands, but her gaze never left those green eyes of her new trainer. "> Next time, send me against something that can at least hold its own ground <" she then pressed the center of the ball, allowing herself to get sucked back in, the ball falling to the ground.
Ada blinked, picking it up. "Well I'm in for one hell of a ride..." she clipped the ball on to the ribbon on her hat, "Pardon my french..." she mumbled. Now, with that over, she took a step back, taking a deep breath. she dashed forwards, jumping up and on to the next floating land, not breaking her dash even as she set foot on the new soil.
She would run away as fast as she could from the Natu with a hole half the size of its body going through it. There was no use in staying behind, and it had now become apparent that this would become a frequent thing. She just had to toughen up, thicken her shell until nothing like that could faze her again.
She would not allow herself to fear death if she wanted others to fear it when she faced them.

Eyes closed over ....as darkness took over. The Natu whom had fought so valiantly died .....as its blood and entrails leaked upon the ground. Though there was eyes that had seen the death, saw the trainers movements as she simply moved on.
One of her friends ...gone ....if they met, it would not be a nice battle.
The next rock would tilt lightly underneath her weight as it threaten for a moment to upend on her side. This one wasn't so stable, and it was a long way down ....and if she was lucky it would be water she hit instead of land.

"See you need to listen. Take this Potion." Tsuki said using it on Archer. He didn't like being help by that boy but he was indeed hurt. Now they just needed to get one good attack on that anteater. Okay lower it's defenses which meant using leer. But sadly this wasn't his then to attack anymore. Heatmor, sadly, was in charge of the next attack.
((Archer used ONE Potion.))
(I'm taking a leap and guessing yore BS dictates that you can't attack after switching out. Like in the games. But I'm rolling a defensive roll just in case I'm wrong. ))

One step higher ...and it seemed Ada had managed to stabilize her spot. The rock holding steady ....the ground staying firm. Though something purple in color would peek it's head from the opposite side ....as a creature that looked more balloon that anything else would look at her and blink.
A big smile would spread on it's face as it cries out loudly.
