Alex walked into the great hall, she went and grabbed a muffin and a cup of pumpkin juice and she sat down, looking at everyone who was there while eating

"Alex, you—" She then rushed back over to the table, and grabbed the three remaining muffins. She then strolled back over to Alex, whilst, suprise surprise, eating one of the muffins.
"Alex," Crumbs flew out of her mouth and onto the table as she placed herself next to her favourite lackey. "the Varentines Barr."

Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; Second Year Antoinette swallowed (THE MUFFIN.) and grimaced in a bemused way.
"'Burr'? What are you talking about?" She shook her head and straightened her posture, her tone suddenly business-like. "The Valentines Ball. Apparently you can take dates to the Ball..." She faded as she gazed longingly at the muffin in her hand.

Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; Second Year Antoinette opened her mouth, but then quickly closed it. She opened it once more, and quickly closed it once more. She did this a number of times, as if she was a beached fish.
She opened her mouth and didn't immediately shut it, finally saying something.
"Oh, I..." Antoinette crinkled her nose and awkwardly glanced around the table. She then turned to Alex and locked eyes with her, her expression super cereal.
"I was just going to say, "fine."" Her eyes had drifted from Alex's to the muffins, but snapped back to Alex's once she saw a blueberry.
"We can go as friends. I know you've just been dying to ask me."

Alex laughed "you crack me up mate, you sure do, but ill accept your offer, for i would not go with any boy here" Alex said, for she already had one at home, waiting for her, well he wasn't at his house but when she came back so would he

Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; Second Year Antoinette raised an eyebrow. "Offer? What offer?" She then blinked and rearranged her face into a grimace. "Yeah, the boys here are idiots. Especially that Ghaleon of Ravenclaw. The tosser..." She threw a nasty glance at him, but he didn't as as he was too busy snogging with Rose. She then let out a guffaw, and brought her head close to Alex's. "I wonder how much Edgecombe is paying him." She whispered to Alex, snickering incessantly.

Alex looked at Ghaleon and Rose "i suppose their alright, and i don't think she's paying" Alex said smirking and still looking at them, but then back at her food

Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; Second Year Antoinette frowned. "No, he's an idiot. And he's definitely being paid."
Having accomplished her goal of accepting Alex's offer as friends to the Valentines Ball, she attempted to avert her attention to her muffins. But while turning to look at her muffins, she caught sight of Lily, sitting not too far from her, smiling.
"What's funny, Ravenwood?" Antoinette asked, narrowing her eyes.
