"Oh, I doubt she'll be much of a problem. Do you have plans for the boy then?" Jaquel asked out of curiosity, now ignoring Van at this point.
"Hey, I'm right here you know! I'm not letting you take anyone!"

{I did a rough depiction of Mala. How does it look?}
"I would like to take him along too, although a similar solution is reccomended." Marianne said easilly. "Just to be safe.
Mala looked over at Van. "I know this is rather harsh of me to ask, but when you kill him can you kill the harlot as well?" she asked bitterly.

((In all honesty? It looks like her top's about to fall right off her shoulders and show the world her chest. >.>;; But other than that it looks good! ^^;; ))
Riley clung closer to Mala, not wanting to get separated from his sister by the sound of the villains' plotting.
"I'm not one to hurt a lady, but if that's what you want...I guess I can make an exception just this once..." Van said scratching the back of his head. Things suddenly started getting complicated it seemed.
"Have somewhere in mind to keep him? I can drop you two off on the way." Jaquel said easily as his demonic gift kicked in. It seemed like everyone's shadows came to life suddenly, thick tendrils rising up and knocking the siblings out and holding Van down.
((I can edit if it's too god-moddy.))

{XD Lol. Thanks...}
Marianne shrugged. "I'll find somewhere to put him." she said casually.
{I don't mind it. XD Btw, I'll be going to bed soon. Goodnight.}

"Suit yourself then." Jaquel said simply, and with a snap of his fingers, Van was freed while Jaquel and Mala sank into the shadows, returning to the demon's lair and letting Marianne figure out what to do with Riley.
"MALA!!" Van made a leap for Mala as she sank away, but he was too late. He punched the ground in anger before he looked back at Marianne, his eyes narrowing into a glare. "If you know what's good for you, you'll let Riley go."
((If you intended for Marianne to go with Jaquel, I can edit. At this point, I know kidnapping is involved, and that's about it. Who's in what lair I don't know anymore. >_>;; ))

Marianne laughed heartilly at this. "Why do YOU care what happens to them? You're some sort of god, right? Aren't they just worthless brats holding you down?"
{Let's just say that Riley and Marianne only go back after it's been decided where he goes.}

"Yeah, but I've got a few debts to pay before I hit the road. Mala'd kill me if I let anything happen to Riley." Van said as he got to his feet. "Letting you take him away sounds to me like it falls under that category."

"But what if you never had to see her again? Besides, letting me take the boy would be doing her good in the long run. She'll learn what it's like to be alone instead of constantly raising some snot-nosed brat." Marianne pointed out, hoping it would be easy to convince Van to allow her to have her way.

"Only reason she's always concerned about Riley is because you left them for dead!" Van said, the stunning family resemblance starting to weird him out a bit. "I REALLY try to make it a point not hurt women. However, Mala asked me to eliminate you if at all possible. An easy task, I'm sure, but I'd rather it didn't come to that."

"Why should you care? It's not you who had to deal with such concerns." Marianne pointed out, now crossing her arms. "If you let me leave with the boy now, you'll have much less stress to deal with. Besides, regarding Mala, there are plenty more fish in the sea."

"You just let your daughter kidnapped by a perverted demon that's no doubt going to try to rape and/or kill her. I knew there was a reason I didn't like you...Look, whatever mind games you're trying to play here aren't going to work, so just leave Riley and beat it."

Marianne picked Riley up, glaring at Van before she began to walk off. "I apologize, but I cannot do that. Unlike my ungreatful daughter, my son has yet to make much of an impression of me."

"Look lady, I heard enough about you from Mala. I wouldn't trust you to take care of my house plant." Van said storming after Marianne and grabbing her shoulder to stop her.

"Because I know Mala would never lie about something like that!" Van said, tightening his grip on her shoulder as he tried to turn her around. After all, how hard could it be to steal a kid back from a human woman?
