 Lisa nodded, "Well, I hear the open market usually has a few every so often, so you should keep an eye out!" she advised, "As for myself, well, I'm not sure what my Eevee will evolve into. I guess it will depend on how my party is shaping up and its personality." Lisa turned and withdrew TG, who was looking rather bored. Holding the disaster pokemon's pokeball, she lost herself in thought until an abrupt swerve to avoid a bush snapped her out of her daydream. "Ah, sorry." she said to no one in particular.

Anyone/Trist::
Eyes looking to the Sableye, the breeder gave a half-grin. Such curious Pokemon they were. Kneeling down, he picked up the guitar and gave a gentle pat to the Absol's head. The canine then resumed to stand at it's trainer's side, keeping a lax composure that matched the breeder. Nodding to the researcher in a sense of understanding, he glanced in the direction of his own camp. He'd had most of his things packed, and would need to start following with the group.
At the praise, he too would have responded by giving compliment to the mans Sableye, but his departure made the reserved male to remain silent.

"Nice to meet you Rose. I'm sure for the Expresss they make sure only have the calmer of the sort for people. So its hard to judge the wild ones by him. I havn't seen many myself in my travels." She grinned and introduced herself by way of explaination. "I'm Tygress and I'm a watcher. I have a few pokemon but none large enough to ride so I get to spend some time with Roddy here," she gave the ponyta's neck a pat. "The luxio pacing us is, Peanut."
Tyg gave Rachel a smile and nodded agreement. "It is quite a nice day for a journey like this. And good company."

"Nice to meet you as well, Carter," Oyumi said, laughing slightly at the disgruntled look of the Pokemon he was perched on. The Ponyta she was riding was quick to send the Tauros a slightly amused but sympathetic nicker. He could only be grateful his rental trainer was so easy to give a ride too. "I'm glad. I've been out of it most of the day. I just didn't get enough sleep last night, you know?"

"Yeah I like being away from the busy cities. I prefer the quiet areas." Alexa chuckled at Nina, "What girl doesn't like shopping." The sun was quite hot and making her a bit sleepy. She shook her head and took a drink of water. "So if you guys end up catching an Eevee what do you hope it'll evolve into?" She was rummaging through a pack trying to see if there was something useful to keep Vincent on task. He was getting quite antsy. "Uh.... if I end up being carried away by Vincent, I apologize in advance. He's getting bored."

"Celedon! I'm from Kanto too, I was born in Rifure Village just outside of Cerulean." It was seeing the Gym Badges being made that sparked in him the desire to have his own Gym someday and design a badge. Even though it was far away, he hoped to have his badges made in Rifure Village someday.
"So, how would you play cards on the back of a Ponyta? Don't you need a table?"

x_Nata_x Liam tried to hold back a grin and an amused chuckle at how thrilled the girl seemed to be, watching her ride with no hands. "Well I'll be cheering for you. I'm sure you'll get one, especially with all the activity recently. And hey, hopefully we'll find the eevee swarm -- gives you more of a chance to snag one, right?" he replied optimistically, shifting a little so he sat back a little further on Nitro's back. As sturdy as they were, tauros weren't exactly the most comfortable pokemon. "Would you evolve it, do you think? With all the newly discovered evolutions, it seems you can't go wrong, even if you only train a certain type."  "Yeah, it'll be pretty great to see all the swarms." Lumina breathed in the fresh air, enjoying the scenery. She paused, considering his question, "Well, I do have an affinity for the psychic types, but I think in the end I would leave that decision to the eevee. With so many different evolutionary paths, I think it would be too limiting for me to choose something like that."
She grinned, setting her notebook back in an easy to access side pouch. It had just occured to her that she wasn't holding the reigns, at which she instantly fell forward and clung to the ponyta's neck as if she had been about to fall. One eye opened, followed by the other, and the watcher bolted back upright with reigns at hand, "Er, so, how do you earn money for traveling? I bet healer supplies aren't cheap."

Flint nods " yhea, i really hope to have an all fire type team one day, with the exception of at least one water type, water types can be way useful as we saw last night" and glances at the girl on the other side and sees the lugia " whoa! is that a lugia?!" he asks his eyes wide, he had never dreamed he would ever actually see a lugia in real life.

Uh oh...Deja vu? Something was happening...
Some of the more sensitive pokemon were starting to get nervous as they continued down the road towards the town. Abiba, having climbed on to join Lumina on her pokemon mount, was shaking slightly as she eyed their surroundings, ears twitching nervously. Some of the mounts were even starting to fight the ones riding them, trying to stop or go in another direction altogether.
Not to mention....Its awfully quiet too. Only the sounds of people talking and the sounds of pokemon from the groupo could be heard.
Its almost as if a-
A thunderous explosion suddenly rang out from the clifftops above, a thick stream of black smoke racing towards the skies. That was weir-
Huh?
Some rock chips had fallen on your head. Wait...
Rock chips?
Oh...sh-
A thunderous rumble came forth, steadly growing louder and louder as the mountainside gave way under the mysterious explosion. The pokemon needed not urging to move. They were out of the way in a second, reguardless of how their human companions were holding on for the ride.

After the dust settled, the group found themselves blocked off by the large wall of mud and rock. An option would be to go over the mountains to the town, but that would take too long.
The only option would be to clear this wall...
Gawd, here's to hoping they have a laundremat in the town. Not to mention a few spare bathrooms.
(The rockslide will be automaticly cleared on page 95! Get to work, peoples!)

You wouldn't think an Onix could move that fast, but you'd think wrong.

Rachel nodded back with a bright smile. "Indeed, so many new faces to see and people to meet. It really has been an interesting trip so far and this is only the second day." she laughed. "I'm Rachel by the way." she held her hand that wasn't occupied with the reins to Tygress. Her eyes widened when there was an explosion and Rei took off to avoid the falling rocks.

ACK! The once placid tauros had gone wild at the rock slide, bolting from harm's way. Thankfully she'd been atop it, and had been able to grab the horns to hang on...it slowed to a trot a ways off, snorting and tossing its head in agitation. She was covered in dust...
"Ugh...Well. Guess we won't go that way. At least...hmm." She nudged the tauros. Some of those rocks weren't too big. The pokemon seemed skittish at first, but when it realized the ground was done attacking them, it settled. She slipped off its back and hefted a stone with an oof. "Horns...can you try to maybe skullbash some of these into smaller bits?" She didn't even know if the pokemon knew the move, but it responded...
Moments later the air was full of dirt again as the Tauros began working to crush the rocks into manageable bits for the people to carry away.

"Rifure..." Kiyo tried recalling the village, however nothing came to mind. "Sorry mate, I can't seem to remember that village. I'll make note of it though and visit next time I'm around Cerulean."
Kiyo's eyes began to sparkle with excitement. It was time to show off some of his magician skills.
"Well...I am a magician..." he said proudly and pulled off his hat again. He dug into his hat and felt around for a little switch. "Aha!" He flipped it and turned on the little motor inside his hat. One of his many tricks. This one was to give the hat the illusion of levitation. "Here's out table!" he exclaimed as he spread a cloth over the "floating" hat.

Lumina was about to say more to Liam, but when the little pokemon from last night had climbed up, the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end, "You're still scared from whatever it was yesterday..?" A pause, then, "Or is it something.."
The words she had heard tickled her mind, and she couldn't help but feel a little ominous. Then it started raining pebbles. She looked up, the ponyta shifting nervously. As the mountain started rumbling, the rocks rolling downards, Lumina pulled Abiba close to her stomach, leaning down over the pokemon as she clung to her bolting ponyta for dear life.
The dust from the rocks was everywhere, and Lumina could barely manage to stop coughing. "Is everyone alright?" She called out wearily.
