Stopping in the middle of the song, Kirai raised her hand and stood up. "If you would so kindly excuse me for a moment." Walking to the door down the darkened hallways, Kirai took a small candle from the entrance and lit it from one of the torches before answered the door. Holding the door open, Kirai studied the girl for a brief moment before bowing and standing out of the way. "Felicity is your name... I am very pleased to meet you. Please, come inside."

Kirai gave a soft half smile, closing the door and turning to face her. "I use to be what is known as a strigoii... Knowing one's name, among other things with a simple glance, was one of my special 'gifts'. So it seems they are returning to me...." Gesturing with her hand, which was pale and clad in black lace and silver rings, Kirai lead her down the hall. "I have another guest here, if you should so like to be introduced."

James followed Kirai to the door and watched her to the 'name guess' trick. Of all the little things that bugged him about her, it was that psychic thing that bugged him the most. It wasn't uncommon of her to be peeking around in peoples heads like that, and it rather annoyed him. "Eh, I dunno, Call you a whatsamabob for all it matters." He moved to shake her hand and smiled. "I'm James."

"Von Traus..." Kirai smiled sadly. "Quite a lovely last name, once I knew someone with a similar last name, Warwick Von Kraus... not a man whom I was ever on good terms with. However, that matters little of the moment. Perhaps we might move into a smaller living room and I might get us both some wine, then you might tell me what brings you to Haven."

Kirai lead them into about a large living area, decorated in a traditional Gothic Victorian style with dark green walls and red velvet and dark stained cherry wood chairs and sofas, all arranged around a large fire place. After lighting the fire, and getting it going a bit, Kirai stood back up straight and turned towards James and Felicity. "Please be so kind as to keep one another company as I leave to go fetch some food and drink for everyone." With this, she bowed, and silently walked past them out of the room.

James followed them along and plopped into a chair to relax. "Ah, so in all seriousness, what are you doing around here? Ain't usually to many visitors around here. Minus me of course, but thats just because I'm good like that." As he talked, he fumbled around in his coat for his pipe. Kirai said no drinking, but maybe she'd be better with smoking.

((Sorry I haven't been able to post till now, been busy with my CNA Class sweatdrop ))
"Gifts? Like what kind of gifts?" James asked, striking a match and lighting the old looking wooden pipe. He was a little bit intrigued by this woman, after all he had been pretty isolated in past. Meeting new faces was always fun for him.
