Joker took out his cell and muttered a few things in another language. Hanging up he looked at the two children. "I have a few coming right now. I hope you don't mind the few minute delay." He said to Ziggy.

Catherine spoke to the pups and they all nodded, they all turned onto Mist and attacked him again, Catherine included, each trying to lick his face, Catherine getting the most.
((Yeah I am off to bed too... I am exhausted and need some sleep))

"Hey! Hey!" Mist laughed as he was licked. "Come on now, that's not fair!" Laughing more he grinned. "You guys are ganging up on me...that's not fair..." He pouted and one of the puppies licked his pouty lip. "Bleh, hey now!" He continued to laugh.
Shaking his head, Ziggy shrugged. "I don't mind, but it's not up to me." Talon was leaning against the wall. "..." "Well?" Sighing, he pushed himself off of the wall and muttered. "I don't want those two to get hurt, so yeah, we can wait. I'll cover Kai. Something doesn't feel right. Meet you there." On his way out, Ali went and hugged his leg. "No being mad..." Talon smiled softly and pat the top of her head. "Ok."

Catherine backed down and let the puppies have their fun, she shifted to a human. Which was a big mistake, the puppies broke in half and half of them went on her, she burst into laugher with all the tickling whiskers.

"Ha!" Mist said in fits of laughter. "Payback!" Now that the pups were split, he could pick up the half that was on him. So, scooping the three that were on him up, he grinned as they continued to play.

Catherine finally got the puppies to settle down, "Yeah... I should learn by now," she scratched Maro behind the ear when he entered, "Yes these are crazy pups," she agreed with Maro with something that he said.

Smiling, Mist let Catherine talk to the wolf. If he was in his fox form, maybe he would be able to understand them, but for now, Mist was in the dark. A few of the puppies nuzzled his leg and he smiled down at them, patting their heads and behind their ears. "As crazy as they are, they're still adorable..." This was said softly as the male smiled.

Catherine chuckled, "That they are..." she then looked at Maro, "What?" she asked slightly angry, and embarressed. She was now happy that Mist couldn't hear when Maro asked if she finally mated to Mist.

Catherine blushed deeply, "Um... nothing," she said, and wrapped her arms around Maro so he couldn't rely the information to Mist, "Just family talk is all..."

One of the puppies stared at Mist and then at the two in front of them, and then back at Mist. He stared at it. "Yeah...I don't believe her either...." Looking at Catherine, he raised a brow. "What are you talking about, Catherine?"

Catherine decided to stick close to the truth, "Maro is just wondering if I have found a mate yet," she said.

Making an 'ah' sound he smiled. "Eh...a mate...I haven't thought about a mate in a long time.." The last time Mist had thought about a mate was before Ali had been born. He was with this girl who he was sure would be his mate, but no. Dusk just didn't think that way, but he was ok with it. Dusk was now his sister more than anything else.

Maro bite Catherine to make her let go, he walked over to Mist. He looked from Mist to Catherine, and back again. As though this should tell him what he was thinking. Catherine groaned, she decided to keep to the subject, "I see," she said, "I haven't ever thought of a mate... well not really..." she paused.

Mist tilted his head to the side, wondering. A moment passed and his eyes grew wide. "Eh?!" Understanding was there. "Eh...eh...." Mist didn't know what to say. The puppy that he was currently playing with made a laughing sound. "Oh shush, you."
