She pouted and pulled her eyebrows together. She didn't remember him having such a low self-esteem.... Oh yeah. She lifted a finger and pressed it against her lips, shutting him up. She pulled back slightly and turned to the man. "Don't encourage his untruthful thoughts!" She turned back and looked Ialo into the eye. "Be quiet. You're going to listen to me right now, okay? Please, just listen to me. Everything's going to be okay.. okay?" she whispered. "Calm down." She pressed against him again, her hands sliding around him to the back of his shoulders, softly massaging.

"Don't buy it homie." The man stated, the same look upon his face. "In August 2001 my seemingly splinter-proof brain bone scaffolding imploded. I kept it on the hush, but nearly tumbling to the cold hard concrete on near bodega trips for cigarettes and soda shook me to casper. Dizzy with a nausea chaser, motor sensory eraser agoraphobe tunnel vision, guilt, self loathing arrangements."
Once again he fell silent, any sort of meaning to his statement probable to be lost to the sky.

Ialo stared at the man, confused and suspicious. "Okay, you know what? Imagine me slowly edging away from you." He really would have, if Luna didn't have him somewhat pinned. He looked down at her again. "Untruthful? I'm not being untruthful," he insisted. But he did stop shaking. For some reason, though he was still mad at Luna, he found her touch oddly soothing. He must be going crazy. They were all ******** crazy. Only crazy people lived, unfortunately. And they always found each other.

A burst of smoke appeared with an explosive sound; out from it appeared a rare sight on school grounds, Shuusuke. He kept himself moderately busy traveling the world these days, although what, if anything, he did on these journeys wasn't clear. "Aesop!" he shouted, running towards the strange man.
"Shoe! How you been homie?"
"Good, good. Oh nice, I see you did what I asked."
"Yeah dawg, caught these fools up above the forest in free fall. They're lucky if ya ask me."
"Guys, I'd like you all to meet a friend of mine: Aesop."
"That's Aesop Rock homie."

((Hey, sorry I haven't been on, like... at all. I have no good excuses; make up your own and put it here. You could say I had to go on an impromtu trip to see a random cousin in Romania whose boyfriend is really my mom's old crush and who was being thrown a surprise party because it was his dog's fish's birthday. I really don't care. Just know that I won't be on until Sunday (I'll be on then!), because I have Girl Scout camp to attend and 200 people to cook for!))
Athena sighed as she stared around her dorm. When she'd gotten back, Lin had been gone. Where the elf was, Athena didn't know. But she did notice that in only a few days it would be the next New Moon. If not for the fact that she was sharing a room with an elf, she wouldn't worry, but now she knew she had to. For, you see, a yokai's power spikes when there is no moon. Somewhat like werewolves in the silly legends that really knew nothing, but vastly different.
First of all, it is best to note that the Full Moon gives dark magic users great power--which is why they can best summon demons at those times. But the New Moon gives demons great power, and some can become quite tricky to summon. Or, if they're part human, impossible to summon in the first place.
For the Astra family, it went rather like this after sunset: the night would cause their pupils to slit and whiskers to sprout from their cheeks. Their general appearance would become more K9-like, and if they had passed fifteen they would change completely, but if not they would stay human. A demon's powers and aura also accelerate to be very strong as well. Strong enough that, if what she read was true, it might be uncomfortable for Lin.
Gyahhh, now is not the time to worry about this, she told herself. Now is time to sleep. And so, she climbed into her covers and did--but it was a much lighter sleep than her usual dead-heavy sleep.

Immature Excuse "I'm listening to the wind sing. Can't you hear it? Or do you only hear the sun's rays?" he whispered, opening his eyes to watch her. "No.. I don't believe you can hear it. It's a wonderful sound.. something I just began hearing a few decades ago. It's a very.. amazing sound to be heard." Dymetri didn't know why he was sharing so much information with her, perhaps she had Elvin powers helping her get as close to him as possible so that she could relinquish him. That seemed likely. However, Dymetri failed to see her faded smile or sense how close she kept remaining. "Certain wind currents are actually air nymphs. I'm just letting you know that just in case you might strain yourself one night trying to listen. They only let certain people hear them, though. But I've gotten to the age where their secretive ways are immune to me." Being the ever-competitive person that she was, Lin's eyes widened at this and she couldn't help but pout ever so slightly. "Well then why can't I hear them? Surely they'd want an elf, a creature of nature, to hear them. Although, I could never decide if nymphs are good creatures or not. They are so beneficial to the environment. They have similar powers to fairies in that they help everything to grow in large numbers. They protect nature." She sighed and looked up at the sky, pulling back slightly in the process. "But my people also said that they can be very... promiscuous, and that's not good at all. So I'm not entirely sure what to think of nymphs."

Now, that made him grin. He gave her a sideways look of humor and leaned closer to her. "They're very opinionated creatures. Nymphs don't like to be called promiscuous, either. As one told me, there's a difference between being oversexed and being confident. They're like humans, really, except their emotions are much more enhanced." He swung an arm around her and pulled her on him, her back against his stomach. They were both facing upward, staring in the face of an air nymph, watching them with slitted eyes. Her appearance made the singing heard to Lin. She was transparent, and the stars behind her were seen, but it wasn't hard to define the upset face of the beautiful creature. "The thing is, not only do they protect nature, but they are nature themselves," he whispered. His neck extended so that his face was closer to the nymph than Lin's. He softly blew on the see-through woman, making her features and the singing disappear within the air. Dymetri laid back, and hugged Lin from behind. "And nature hears everything. So be careful what you say, Lin. Especially around me."

Chris got to the school running up a wall grabbing onto the second story window, and pulled himself up keeping his body pressed against the window he thought he heard voices, but before he could listen in the window behind him unlatched causing him to fall into a library. *thud!* "Aw crap that hurt like hell!" He reached under him pulling out an old leather bound book.
He opened it the words "The mystic fountain" appeared on the page as if someone were writing on the pages at that second. "wow ... this is ... cool" He read the pages quickly as it didn't explain the school, but the fountain itself. It also wrote about the relics that were hidden. A smile graced his lips as her read about the crystal flask, but it quickly faded back to his normal expression.
"This could be useful in the future" He stuffed the book in his bag that was strapped to his back. He looked back at the open window and figured that he wanted to stay a while in the library.

Lin would normally have been startled when Dymetri pulled her back against his stomach, but she was more focused on the transparent creature that had appeared before them. She had gasped when she saw her and was actually quite nervous. She had never seen a real nymph before, and this one did not look happy. She never wanted to upset anything that had to do with nature, but she was simply repeating her people's beliefs. Now a vampire was educating her on nature?! Her specialty?! But he wasn't just some vampire... she wasn't sure what he was to her, but she did not look at him anymore as a mere vampire.
She looked up into the sky and sighed softly. When she spoke, it was a mere whisper that seemed to mold itself into the wind, trying to follow that air nymph. "I am sorry..."
She then turned to Dymetri but made sure to sit up first. It wasn't right to lay against him... to lay with him. "What did you mean when you said, 'especially around me'?"

He missed the warmth from her body as quickly as she sat up, away from it. He looked at her with a small, brief ounce of pain. "I don't have a very nice reputation in the world of nymphs. They used to keep a special eye on me, and whenever I let myself be seen, they react.. not so nicely." He reached over and placed a hair behind her ear, softly smiling. "I suppose I keep teaching you when I'm supposed to be teaching other students. Sadly, everyone skipped my only class." He sat up, drawing a mature woman in the dirt between them. He made her ears long, like an elf's, her eyes looked as if they were glaring, her nose was pointy and her lips were prominent. High, sharp cheekbones with a round chin, combined with short wavy hair finished his doodle. "No matter. I haven't much experience in teaching anyone but you," he said to Lin.

Lin's eyes widened at what he said. Her heart was beating a little faster in hope.
"No one showed up in your class? Not even a student named Heather?"
She looked down at the dirt when he was done drawing. He actually was a pretty good artist. But did her eyes always look like they were glaring? She hoped not. Elves usually had a serene look upon her face. She didn't want to glare at anyone or anything...
Her eyes frowned, though, when she continued to analyze the drawing, afraid that her eyes did always glare.

His eyes trailed off in his memory, trying to remember the student she mentioned. His eyes widened with success. "Ah, Ms. Summers! Yes, she showed up, but quickly left after a small mishap," he said, not offering up any more information. He looked back down at his doodle, and up at her face, studying it. He chuckled. "This isn't you, if that's what you were thinking." His other hand trailed down his leg, resting as close to his knee as he could get. "Her name was Ryanne."

Mishap? That didn't sound good. Did she get her wish? Had she and Dymetri....?
She shook her head, not wanting to focus on it. Not even wanting to think about it briefly anymore.
When Lin heard what Dymetri said, her head cocked to the side slightly, confused. "Isn't it an elf, though? She looks like she has many features that an elf possesses. Who is Ryanne, if you do not mind me asking?"
