Oomizu laughed a little at what Gear said. "That was such a nerdy response!.... But so true at the same time. Have you ever been to release parties for those books that you picture nerds reading? They're so much fun! Ad they usually last until midnight or slightly later since most books release at midnight. Good times. At least at those people don't question why I look like I'm wearing a costume." She smiled and shrugged. "I bet people into lolitta would totally love my outfit. I know Kimiko said I look cute~!"

"N-nerdy?" Gear questioned, but left it at that. He was pretty nerdy... Well, not so much as Gear than as Richie. "Yeah, I've been to a bunch! Me an' my runnin' buddy go to them all the time!" he replied. "Comic books are good for you! Heck, me an' Static are two good examples for that; if we didn't have any superhero role models, we probably would have ended up criminals like all the other metahumans."

Oomizu giggled at the first reaction and nodded in agreement. "I can't say that they've caused positive role models for me since I have an evil genius for a godfather, but they certainly do give you an incite for the ways of other cultures, depending on what country you get them from."

"True..." Gear replied, with a nod. That got him thinking, and wondering about the ideal personal traits of other cultures in the world. That settled it; when he got back, he'd start buying comics from around the world.
"We have arrived," the Jack-Bot stated. Its purpose completed, it flew off, switching to it's default function; hide and keep an eye on either Jack or Oomizu, whichever happened to be closest.

Oomizu stopped when the Jackbot said they had arrived and looked around. The fair was pretty much like any other you'd picture. There were ferris wheels, bumper cars, dunk tanks, shooting games, spinning tea cups, merry-go-round, and all the junk food and prizes one could ever possibly want to choose from, everything light up in dazzling white lights and music. She smiled and sighed contently. "My kind of place." She then looked at what they were wearing and the people around befre turning to Gear. "Hmm.... We stand out. Why don't we go change into more normal clothes and meet at the cotton candy stand over there? You do own a spare outfit, right? I mean, don't all super heroes wear normal clothes under their uniforms?" While she spoke, she took her hat off and pulled out the pink school uniform she had bought arlier in the trip. Who needs a book bag when you have a big hat, right?

Gear visibly flinched. "Um... not so sure that's the best idea..." he began, before lowering his voice. "Hotstreak knew me before I became Gear, so he'd recognize me in civies... I don't want him finding out who I really am, and go home blabbing my secret identity..." he explained. It just seemed like too great a risk to simply blend in with the crowd...

Oomizu shrugged litle and then paused. "But didn't you say you were going to take your mask off ealier? ... oh well. My boots aren't really suited for runnig around and stuff, anyways since they're kind of big and bulky. I'm gonna go ahead and change real quick. Still meet you by the cotton candy?"

"A helmet can be put right back on," Gear explained, waving a hand. "But, I've got an idea; I'll just use Backpack as a lookout. He'll keep an electronic eye out for Hotstreak, for me, won't you, buddy?" At its owners words, the robot sprang to life, crawling down Gear's back and sneaking off. "See you in a moment!"

Oomizu smiled and nodded. "Good thinking. See you in a few." She turned and disappeared into a group of people before going into a nearby store. She went to the changing room in said store and quickly changed into her school girl look and came out with some money in hand. She bought a small book bag, stuffed all of her things into it, and then walked out of the store to the cotton candy stand, waiting to see where Gear was.

Gear made his way to a dark, out of the way spot. He was used to quick changes like this, so it only took roughly thirty seconds to get out of his Gear outfit and into his normal clothes ((which I can't be arsed to get a picture of, go look at the first page if you must)). In what seemed like no time at all, he made his way back towards the cotton candy stand, adjusting his glasses and with his Gear gear ((had to)) neatly put away in a brown backpack over his shoulder. It's impossible to explain where the backpack and his usual clothes came from; he probably stored them in the same spot where his zap-caps hide. Seeing Oomizu, Richie walked over, giving a wave while calling out, "Hey!"

((Ah, nothing much happened, then, aside from a lot of character development. And Hotstreak got pantsed; you missed that. He threw hot crab meat at Oomizu for that, but she put up a shield. Anyways, fireworks are over, and it's night, basically. Oh, and Hotstreak's fighting Vegito. xd That pretty much covers anything important. xp ))
