*TJ puts on some simple cloth, he wanted his better ones to stay behind. He feels the back of his neck; the hideous parasite had grown to engulf pretty much his entire body now. He walks back over to his bed and sits by Aeris, who was sleeping. He puts his hand over hers and leans down to kiss her temple. He whispers softly into her ear* Good night Aeris, sleep well. *He gets up and walks to the door. Before closing it all the way he looks back to Aeris. For a moment, watching her torso rise and fall slightly, he didn't want to leave and thought he should just stay in bed and leave peacefully amongst those whom he loved so dearly. But no.... he couldn't allow himself that luxury. Letting a small tear fall from his eye as he left, he regretted not telling her about the dream, or rather nightmare, he had last night*

*As he headed down the hall he stopped at Aileen's room. He was about to knock, but then realized through his senses, and through hearing some soft breathing, that she was asleep. He opens the door quietly as he can and slips inside. He walked over to the bed where his daughter slept. He once again knelt at her bedside. He took a moment to look around the room, taking in everything he saw..... and realizing how he'd wished he could give her more. On the table by her bed he saw the pendant, the cross, that he'd given her. Twi ran a finger along its outline, remembering the child that he'd gotten it from.....and the horrible death that the child had died from Knife Edge. TJ spoke quietly to himself as he looked back to Aileen*......I would never let that happen to you no matter how dead or alive I was...... *He pushed the cross to the edge of the table, closer to Aileen then gets up. He pulls the blanket up over the girl. He froze for a moment when she turned; he thought she would awaken, but she didn't. Aileen just sprawled out a little more as TJ tucked her in. Keeping his hair back over his shoulder as he kissed her forehead, Twi whispers his farewell* Sweet dreams Aileen..... I come home soon. *He somehow hopes those words would seep into her dreams and comfort her. Twi walks to the door, looks back and what he believes may be the last time he sees his daughter in child hood, and leaves*

*He now walks downstairs and looks around the barren room, spotting Than on the couch* Oh.....hey there.... shouldn't you be in bed? *Then he turns his head and sees the lance, his eyes widen*....where...!? How did that get here!?

*He blinks a few more times, stunned* I.....I see *He smiles slightly and has an urge to shout, but decides against it. He looks to Than* Thanatos.... you don't know what this means do you? That lance..... I once used it.... It has the ability to restore a person's life, soul, and body. Or at least it did for me...... maybe.....maybe it could happen again. Or maybe I'm just being hopeful. It's been a while since I could really consider it mine

*He nods with a smile and chuckle* Indeed... you're right. *At the question he shakes his head* No. Don't tell them right away. I don't want to inspire a hope just to have it fail.

But here's what I want you to do Than. When you meet my son, Axl, tell him about the lance and whatever else you can. Tell him to tell Slayer, an old friend of mine about it. If there's a way this can work then Slayer will know.

*chuckles and nods* Indeed... please do what you feel is best and follow your judgement.

*TJ gives Than a slight hug and a pat on the back* You're probably one of the few people still in the BC that're up and ready to defend it right now. I hope I can count on you Than. I know you'll be a good person later on....

*TJ could now feel his physical handicaps returning, the stimulant wearing off* Oi...... I have to go.

*TJ nods and heads for the door* Good night Than..... oh..... would you mind giving this to your mother? *He hands Than a small folded letter*

*nod* Ja.... Take care Than *With that, TJ leaves the dojo and flies off to find a peaceful place to die*

9 came down the stairs quietly. She didn’t make a sound as she walked. Once as she bottom of the stairs she paused and looked tot eh window Tj like to sit at. She sighed softly as she started moving again, heading into the kitchen. Everyone had love someone starting with her and Akki.

She opened the icebox and grabbed a bottle of orange juice before returning to the main room. 9 leaped up into the rafters and took a seat. One knee with up close to her chest while the other dangled off the beam.
