((Holy s**t. The house across the street from my dad's caught fire. I can't say for certain, but I bet just about everything inside is wrecked. I feel so sorry for the people who live there, because they don't own the house; they're just renting it. They don't get any insurance money...))
"That's only true for normal humans!" Hotstreak replied, charging forward himself. It seemed inevitable that the swords would clash together, but he had an idea to get him the advantage; to kick out just as they collided, hopefully hitting either a shin or kneecap.
"Sure, the fair sounds fine," Gear agreed, with a nod. "They've got games and rides and such, right?"
"Follow me," the robot said, turning and floating off at the calculated average speed of a human walking.
((And, damn, our internet went out for about an hour and a half. O.o All on its own.))

Vegito grinned as their swords clashed. Being kicked in the knee didn't seem to phase the sayin at all.

So it seemed this guy wasn't ordinary, either. Going for a different strategy, Hotstreak spun off to his right, hoping Vegito's own inertia would have him off balance for a moment. Not losing his stride, the metahuman continued the movement into a slashing attack at the sayin's back.

Vegito smirked as Hotstreak made him stumble. He noted the attack and teleported a few feet away. His swords disapated as he held his hand up, the tips of his fingers began glowing as he shot several thin beams at Hotstreak.

Hotstreak let the sword's form fall, sending a burst of energy downwards to rocket him up into the air. Letting gravity take hold, he kept flames concentrated in his feet, coming down for a kick to Vegito's head. An obvious attack, to be sure, but if dodged he could at least fly back up again to get out of the way of any other attack. Good thing this guy didn't seem to know about his water weakness...

Vegito's stuck his arms out in defense from the attack getting singed on his arms. 'Hmph.' He mentaly grunted. "Your a good distant fighter, let's see how good you are with melee!" He said rushing him clenched fists.

Dark Maverick423 ((ok tomorrow we continue XD)) The fireworks stopped with a splendorous finish. the smell of the gunpowder filled the air as people from the town below started heading back home Inuyasha looked over to Temari "That was great wouldnt you agree Temari" he asked her as he held her closeMiroku sighed happily "These moments make me happy, im glad i get to share them with you Ai" he told his beloved angelEmil snuggled close to Marta and looked into her eyes "What do you say we have fireworks for our wedding?"((Still waiting for replies.... Ziae Amaterasu released a whine in disappointment when the fireworks finished off. It was certainty better then anything she witnessed back home. The fireworks back in her world paled in comparison. Her tail thumped loudly against the ground. "Did you enjoy the fireworks, Minato?" She didn't turn her head to look at him, just looked up at the stars.

Marta smiled and snuggled close and kissed Emil gently. "That would be nice."
Oomizu smiled and followed the Jackbot. "It looks like the fireworks ended. I hope the fair's still up."

"You're kidding, right?" Hotstreak asked, smirking. Sure, this guy might be physically stronger than him, but seriously? Grabbing ahold of him was like grabbing ahold of fire itself! The metahuman planted his feet, then held up his arms, ready to catch Vegito's fists, at the same time igniting them.
"I'd guess it'd be open for at least a little while longer," Gear guessed. "I mean, this is a pirate town, right? Why would pirates stop partying just 'cause the light-show's over?"
Etna, meanwhile, had gotten far enough from Kain and Jack to speak with her prinnies. "Go find Laharl!" she instructed it. "He's gonna wanna know about this...!" She really couldn't wait for them to find the rest of the pieces; this would prove a damn good fight! No sense in ruining it by letting two get the drop on the little prince~
"Sure thing, dood!" the Prinny replied, before darting off.

Vegito grinned at the challenge. He punched Hotstreaks hand and kept it there whinching slightly. His fist could shatter bones but he let up so it'd only send an extremely painful burts of energy throut the metahumans body.

Hotstreak winced; that was a bit more than what he had expected, but he managed not to falter. Instead of another "sidestep and let the guy stumble" move (as that would probably be expected after trying it once), he decided to try and push his luck; and Vegito. He increased the temperature of his flames, sending them up the sayin's arms, and the same time started trying to push forward.
