Grrrrrrrrrrrr AH! *Than then bites clean through his thumb. Blood sprays into the air from his cut off thumb. As the blood leaves his body something odd happens. The blood becmes a brighter shade of red and remains in the air. After a nice sum of the blood has entered the air it stops and Than's thumb seems to heal. Than quickly removes his shackles and his golden aura expands. While he does this, the blood condenses and forms into a very familiar object...... Mastema's double pointed lance. Than snatches the heavy weapon from the air and lets its tip rest on the ground, glaring at Clyde* Very well..... come at me if you must

Aileen frowns a little when she hears TJ's words. She too knew this day would come, he did warn her a little while ago. Whimpering, the little girl hugs her father lightly and closes her eyes. "Nooo.. I dont want you to go!"

"... Oh... that's what you were doing... And here I was worried." He drops the barrier around him and holds out one finger. What seems to be a small, blue, energy blade (about 1 inch by 1 inch.) appears on it's tip. He rushes at Than trying to cut the lance he summoned in half. "I just don't see why you want TJ's soul to wander once he dies... Oh well. Mastema does work strangely doesn't he?"

*TJ keeps his arms wrapped around his daughter. He looks into her eyes with a calm, sincere look* I don't want to go either. Aileen, I have to leave because I don't want my....."passing" to haunt or scare anyone. Especially not you. understand?
*He feels Than's aura spread but keeps quiet. He half hopes that Aeris can feel it too*

*The lance, needless to say, does not get cut by the small blade. Than tries to throw Clyde back* My father has nothing to do with this! *he jumps up and brings the lance down in a simple stab fashion*
