And if 't be me, Chase? I jus' think I ortin' ta be havin' a wee payaft from them ninjas. mad Y'arrrrrrrrgh.
@Neverwinter: Well, it depends... I think we're starting to have a character overload... What kind of character is this?
As it stands, we have our 11 canons, 3 descendants, 11 OCs, 6 support characters, and 10 antagonists.
I think we have a big enough main crew as it stands...

Well, its a character that I used for a Persona 3 rp that I did. I'll need to make a new profile for him though if you do let me. Though the problem is is it ok if he still has the ability to use Persona? And he doesn't shoot himself in the head though to summon his lol

[/sighs] I need to calm down before I write my response. I'm apt to flip my s**t and drop. You guys need to SLOW DOWN. I can't keep up with you guys if you continue to barrel ahead without waiting for the others. Its like I come home, about to edit, and like 44690609 billion things happen, and I didn't get a chance to respond to the previous stuff without getting completely left out of the picture. I need a little time to think out my actions, because I need to view the situation with all the characters, so I don't OOC. I think I'd rather be a slow a** responder than an OOC one. Not that I'm saying all the people who do cannons besides me are OOC.

Hmm.. Not to long ago, I would go against you, telling you simply to speed up to keep up or go away. Im the kind of person who likes fast paced threads, but now that times have changed for me, and I cannot be on almost 24/7, I see things from your point of view, and agree.
The thread is moving way to fast, and I was hoping the posts would try to be a little better. The lack of capitalization and at least four line posts really sucks the interest out of the rp. Though there are times when I dont even post four lines, so I dont exactly have all the room to talk.
In this situation, I dont mind who is literate or not. But I do agree with Tiefe, though I would not be so... passionate about it.

@Tiefe: You're totally in the right and I'm sorry. I completely understand why you'd be flipping out. I just try to handle these things too nicely, I guess. I'm dropping hints and hoping the others will follow by example, but it seems some of them haven't been getting it.
@Neverwinter: I'm sorry, I'm not going to include him. There's too much blatant Persona reference in him. I also think you need work on your posting. I mean...how do I put it...you tend to shove your characters in the background most of the time. You may be eager to have more than one character, but I do think you need to get the hang of things trying to play with one for just a while. You don't make any mention as to how your characters might be responding to the surroundings, or characters other than the ones who are of main interest to yours. You also seem to want to be the center of attention.
Anyone else is free to rephrase what I'm trying to say there. Those aren't quite the words I'm looking for.
Apologies for the rambling, it's just that Neverwinter has mentioned that he's rather new at RPing. I'm not trying to be rude here, I just wanted to lay down some critique before I explode myself.

@Neverwinter: Sorry, but a character that has a Persona has no place in a true Tales of Symphonia storyline. I also agree with Azura in that you need to work a little on your posting before you start adding more characters.

I remember when I logged on, and went to post, and could still see my post. Others were getting on at exactly the same time, so we would go for about four pages a day or more, then all stop at about the same time. And the rps I was in were always good... : D Nowdays, its all real pictures and no anime. Makes me scream "GTFOff Gaia then! Its an ANIME based site!"

It's what tends to happen when something like Gaia starts appealing to a larger audience. A much larger audience. I s'pose that's why I stay in guilds often and not venture out into the main forums---much more people you can find who share common interests in guilds. 3nodding

Yes.. so it seems.
Either way, any rp I can find that is active would surely help.

Wow, I feel like a jerk now! =_=;; I've tried to slow down a bit in my posting just to see what others would do in the storyline, and mainly just focus on dreaming for the moment. I really do hope that it helps out a little bit. I know what it's like to be left behind completely in the dust, almost. (Trust me, it not only happens frequently to me on here, but it's also an almost constant thing in rl... sweatdrop ) I agree with the whole 'larger audience' thing you said there. I mean, how do you think the video game enterprise has become so watered down? Not to offend anybody, but... Nintendogs and the like? confused Where's the actual challenge, the story, the fun?!? ToS was an example of a close return to the RPG's of old (most notable being Dungeons and Dragons). Another reason why the Final Fantasy series was such a big hit for a long time, too! [Now, it's just built such a fanbase from people who have either heard about it from those that actually played it, or those obsessed with Cloud or Sephiroth (and, in most cases, it tends to be the latter. stare )] Sorry about the rant, it's just that I saw the talk about Rps and and I kinda got stuck on it... sweatdrop
(Wow, this is the least amount of smileys I've done in a non-rp post in a while... eek )

Wow, it has these days? I'm so caught up in school that I hardly bother to brush up on my gaming news. sweatdrop All I know is, I'm certainly waiting for the Pokémon Gold and Silver remakes. whee
I hope you didn't take my "connect the dots" comment too seriously. In threads like this, I just cut loose.

@Azura No, I didn't take the comment to heart. I just thought it was hilarious because I had never thought about it that way! xd Believe it or not, the gaming industry has become severely watered down these past few years just so it can be "user friendly" and apply to a larger market instead of the dedicated "geeks" or "nerds" that actually took the time to figure everything out. stressed (I really don't approve of those words, but that's what the genuine "gamer" was back then, or so I hear.) They don't hardly make any games challenging enough to apply to the kinds of skills that such dedicated people have acquired over the years, instead making them flashier to the point that it's more for the features, and not the actual storyline, that you purchase a game. Where's the justice?!? *huff huff* Anyway, yeah, I'm looking forward to Heart Gold and Soul Silver, too! They actually come out just a few days away from my birthday! 4laugh I'm so excited! heart scream heart (Woah, I just realized that I did a complete 180 there... eek )
@Rei Oh? What did you learn? (I don't know much about them, haha. Normally my brother is my source of information for these kind of things, but he's off at AIT, lol. sweatdrop ) What's so bad that you almost fainted? confused
Ohmygosh! It's (sorta like) the 'Little Dipper'! *laughs herself off a cliff*

I hardly ever visit this other guild ever since becoming busy with this one sweatdrop , but I catch my updates from this thread. This Vice Cap has taken the courtesy to contain all Pokémon game news there. :3

*climbs back up* What's saddening? That the gaming market is watered down, or that I supposedly laughed myself off a cliff? neutral Anyway, debating with myself which one I want to get, really. Thanks for the link, too! biggrin I like the idea of both, which makes it so hard to choose!! crying ...By the way... How old do I sound? I know it's completely off topic, but really, how old do I sound to you? confused ninja
