String_Theory ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Miles away Rio got up with a grunt, his body fully healed and his missing limbs replaced. He let out a sigh as he flexed his arms, test the strength of his newly grown appendages, they felt normal. He was unsure how much the regeneration process had disturbed Mai, it was usually more than a little unsettling the first time it was seen. The bones grew back first, followed by the sinews and ligaments. The muscle and skin cells grew back last, finger nails and hair quickly growing with the skin. "Did you see which way Kasa-kun went?" Rio asked her before realizing she had no idea who Kasa was. He quickly added, "The ninja in the armor and with the large sword. Did you see where he went?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kasa appeared in a swirl of fire next to the retreating Ifuuki, immediately matching her pace. "Was your mission successful? I 'm afraid I was unable to capture the Atemaru child. He was aided by another genin, though I was dealing with her when a more formidable opponent, Ohmu Rio appeared and allowed them to escape. I was able to defeat Rio-san, but I was fairly weakened by the effort it took to make him stay down. I am afriad I lost track of Ion-san afterwards. ((Ok, these conversations took place after the four hour skip so that we are is sync k? Rio had healed four hours [not that he needed that much time] and Ifuuki and Kasa have been traveling four hours.)) Mai shook her head. "I have no idea where he went. It got a little hectic." She did look uncomfortable and worried. "I need to find Ion. The cave collapsed while you were alseep and I can't find him anywhere. I hope he wasn't inside." --- Ifuuki gave a small look of distaste but continued on. "The boy is nothing now. A small diversion no longer needed. I have the mirror. Any news on the final location?" Rui stirred slightly. "Wha...you...whas goin on?" she said weakly.

Superior's office was dark and silent while he worked on several scrolls before him. A shadow peeled off from the wall and approached him. "My friend. Do not bury yourself in your work too far lest you develop ulcers." the shadows strangely young but wisened voice spoke.

It only took Rio about 10 minutes to find tacks and determine which were Ion's. He looked to Mai and said, "How is you speed through the trees? I'm quite a bit faster when I'm traveling through forests, most people have to slow down." ___________________________________________________________ Kasairyuu shook his head as he said, "I'm afraid not, the sword seems to be rather elusive. Whomever has the artifact probably is either of great strength or keeps it well hidden."

Ganeni appeared on a open fiel and noticed Ion and Sakurai already running his way. Althought they did untill they spotted him.
"Who are you?!" Ion shouted at him. Ganeni couldn't blame him because he WAS wearing his black cloak that did make him look a bit suspicious. Well alot.
Ganeni took off the hood of his cloak. "Wow wow wow calm down kid. I'm with the good guys. You may have spotted me back in Konoha but I doubt it."
Ion didn't seem to trust him alot though. "That kid you are carrying needs ti see a doctor, am I right?" Ganeni asked
Ion didn't know how he was going to respond. But Ganeni wasn't going to wait for an anwser.
"A doctor lives quite close to this place so you'd best take him there. I will show you where he is and you may follow me if you'd like. It is best for the kid." Ganeni spoke with a neutral voice.
Ganeni went to his left and Ion followed but made sure there was a large gap between them.

The pieces need to be brought together during the eclipse next month or we must wait for another." She lowered her voice so that he could not hear. "Besides...I don't have much time."

He also told him that he was perfectly healthy. He then inquired if he had anything to report. The figure stayed in the shadows but it seemed as though he smiled. "Nothing much...just a rumor." There was a slight pause before he continued. "Someone is collecting the Artifacts of Power." The Superior explained that it was his duty to stop this person from collecting the artifacts. Again. He gaze into a scroll, and shook his cloaked head dully. He told told shadow that two of the three Imperial Treasures have been stolen, the mirror and the necklace. The superior rose and strolled around his room, perturbed. He looked directly at the shadow and, basically said things were looking bad. He said at all costs he must stop Ifuuki from retreving Kusanagi. He paused at stared out into the afternoon sky. He admitted even he didn't know where Kusanagi was, but if he could destroy it, it would destroy the Bakufu.

Yuna jumped from another branch. He looked up ahead at Matsuda, and said "You know, Matsuda-sensei, even if Ifuuki has the mirror, I doubt she'll be able to get the usuri (reflection) she wants without the Nijubaku no Tsurugi (The swords that Yuna -Kogarasumaru- and Ion -Kokitsunemaru- stole) or an Oniwaka's blood tribute." He paused while jumping across to another branch. He pulled Kogarasumaru off his back and examined it, According to legened this is Sojobo's blade, a gift given to Kazusasuke. With this blade he was said to have slain Inari's strongest servant. However it was said it had driven him insane, and that he killed his own brother. It's not that hard to believe anymore, this ninja-to seems to be drawing my chakra into it."We should find a place to hide this damned thing. I can feel it reacting agaisnt my chakra. It's evil, this blade, Matsuda-sensei. Pure evil."

After a few minutes Ganeni stopped and turned around. "Alright guys we are here. He's a friend of mine so you can trust him...atleast if you trust me that is" He said and made a bit of an odd face. Ion looked at Sakurai one more time before looking at the house. He made up his mind and walked towards it. "Please take care of him" Ion said to the man as soon as they reached him and handed him over. "Ofcourse, I'll see what I can do." The man said and took him inside. It felt as if a burden got lifted from his shoulder. "You should also get some rest kid." Ganeni said to Ion and for now...Ion took that advice and sat against the house and fell asleep.
