xd I would be very suprised if you didn't know who they were.

Devo was a band during the 70's and 80's, which finally disbanded in 1990. 3nodding They were a huge part of the "New Wave" of music, and should pretty much be credited with the invention of the music video.

A few of their most famous songs are, "Mongoloid," "Jocko Homo," and, "Whip It," as well as their take on, "Satisfaction."

They focused on trying to educate the masses about humanity's path to self-destruction, while mocking corporate America.

The lead singer, Mark Mothersbaugh, is also known to (during music videos and concerts) don a mask and turn into his "alter-ego," Booji Boy, whom represented... well... the idiocy of the youth, basically. xd

The band as a whole is also well-known for wearing their trade-mark yellow jumpsuits which are a spoof of the ones worn for protection against radioactivity, and, later on, their new trademark, the "energy domes," or, the ziggurat-shaped pyramid hats they would wear, which were usually red.

After the group disbanded, Mothersbaugh is known for BEING A FREAKING SELL-OUT AND DEMEANING THE ENTIRE CAUSE OF DEVO, DDDDDD:<, and composing the theme for the Rugrats, PeeWee's Playhouse, background music for countless video games, and dozens of FREAKING IRRITATING product jingles.

I wish I could have dreams like that... mine usually consists of whatever is on the tv at the time. Like watching Fox News before I fell asleep and I was dreaming about something from there. xd

cool Well, first off, I would like to declare, "I am super."

Kay, so, I went deep-sea fishing. gonk I had to get up at 3:15AM to gowtfomg.

So, finally, my dad, my dad's friend, and I get to the boat... and the other three guys look at me and basically go, " lol Are you going to catch a fishy, little girl?" Youko was like, "******** yes. mad "

Youko ended up catching...

-6 striped bass, 3 of which she was allowed to keep (they need to be at least 28" long, and only three, sadly, fit the requirement).
-1 bluefish (which she kept).
-1 sea robin (which she lawled at, and then let go once it started barking at her eek ).
-1 fluke (which was 16", and the required minimum length was 16 1/2", goddamned it! mad ).

So, I caught 9 fish. And kept 4. There's fish on the table tonight! heart

Sorry, can't say I'm familliar with Whip It. I'm kind of musically retarded. I'm just not into the stuff...unless it's a band I like.

And nice work on the fishing trip. Dep-sea fishing is nifty. I woulda punched those guys out if I'd have been there.

Not the kind of birthday I intended. Though...at least I'm not semi-grounded like I was on my...fifteenth I think. Even my sixteenth was better than this, though.
