*Mastema presses a few more controls. The boy, who's hair had now changed to a kind of navy color, twitches a little. He had several vein like accessories attached to him and wore some kind of mask over his face. The tank was now filled with a semi transparent/ white glowing liquid. Mastema smirks. After pushing a few more buttons the child in the take screams but it silenced by the tank. Outside.... something happens to the barrier. A 4th layer appears....a blue shield. Mastema was going to make certain that the barrier didn't fall* hehehe twisted

She replied softly to Yume. She didn’t look at him as she talked. Instead she kept a watchful eye on Irvine, hoping he would wake soon. If only she had the white rose sword with her.

As if on cue, Irvine's eyes slowly began to flutter open. He had lost so much blood that his normal bronze skin was now very pale and he looked sickly. He couldn't quite speak and his breaths were fewer and farther between.

*Both attacks hit the barrier. As it happens the 4 barriers merge into one violet color barrier. Even the two forces don't seem to be making the barrier collapse.....Mastema had called in a massive power boost from somewhere. Now it was time to make sure. Mastema sends a telepaphic message to Yume* Yume. Concentrate all the power you have on keeping the enhanced barrier up

9 frowned as she realized his skin was so pale. As she checked his pulse her frown grow, it hurt her to see him like this.
"Irvine I’m going to give you some of my blood and energy… it should help, I’m a universal donor. This might hurt a little and I’m sorry if it dose."
She forms a tendril and looks at him. She feared what would happen if this didn’t work. The tendril made it’s way under his skin and into his vein as she started giving him some of her blood.

::He grinned and flashed up his black aura, throbbing with power, he charged even more his eyes starting to turn a vile black, the ground started cracking as bits of black electricity started crackling up::
We'll see about that... maybe a duel then? Who knows... none of those fools at BC do me any good... all of them are into saving and justice...
::He began to power down slightly, but never letting his aura down::
I really like this Mastema guy... breaking down the BC level by level... quite a genious if you ask me...

He was about to answer 9 until he heard Mastema's order. He really disliked the idea of leaving her to worry about a soldier who tried too hard in his goals, but she was already doing something before he could.
He turned back to the balcony. He jumped up to the highest point of the sanctuary as he began chanting. Out of his pockets his ofudas flew out as the lined the ground the barrier touched. They began glowing, enhancing the power of the barrier.
