Of course, she had stopped singing abruptly as he walked into the cave. "I'm well Lord Jett. Are you feeling any better?"she asked, rather concernedly.
Yoko fluttered from his perch on the Dragon Lord's hand, to the loftier one of his head.

Baran sat up heavily, trying hard to look alert.
"Good morning, sir," he managed as he struggled hastily to his feet. It took him a moment to realize that his minor wounds were healed. He didn't even feel sore from the previous day's trials. Startled, he shot a glance at the Dragon Officer and noticed that he seemed to be healed as well. The magic residue was a little stronger in the cave than it had been the previous night, but fading very fast.

"I am just tired," Which was probably an understatement, from the shadows under his eyes, but he did not choose to elaborate. "I am very interested in that location the map pointed out last night. If there is a city there, we might be able to get some aid and shelter. Celia, how is your leg?"

"Good." Jett's weak smile broadened. "Then maybe you'll be able to handle bieng carried, or walking with a crutch. I think it would be better to leave this area and head towards possible civilization."

"I agree. I think I should be able to manage with a crutch...."Celia replied, hoping that she could continue to avoide becoming a burden. And maybe if they headed for the town, she could find some more information on the continent.

Further north, much further, lay a large building in a forest. The mansion-sized temple loomed over the surrounding nature but waws still pretty well disguised as a part of the foligae due to even taller trees. Due to the many redwood sized trunks the sun took its fair time to get down there, unlike out in the open or down on the beach.
Etherally golden eyes sleepily blinked, taking their time to open up completely. Micoi let out some mumbled noise as she slowly raised her head, looking around. She and Kanak were lying on the plush rug on the floor, the thick bedspread from his bed over them. Behind them stood their last board game from last night, half finished.
"Good morning, gorgeous." Kanak half joked with one sleepy eye peering at her. They were both still dressed, seeing as they had fallen asleep from everything.
Micoi glanced at him with a smile tugging at one corner of her mouth, that guy could be funny even if he so was dying, she was sure. "Yeah, good morning. What's the time?"
"Does it matter?" They both knew the answer to that... No.
((XD Oh my god! Look, Jett! Your queen even sleeps with someone else (beside her)! XD;;; Ehhh...))

This time, no magic tidal wave flowed from the ancient pages, though the two strange X's still shimmered uniquely. "Now I am very glad I borrowed the origional...."She mumbled, hoping the library hadn't noticed one missing book, which had in truth most likely fallen out of the knowlege that it even existed.

Aketh frowned as she sat up in bed, the early morning sun just seeping through the curtains of the balcony. Her dark hair hung limply about her shoulders, still loose and slightly more tousled than normal with sleep.
She slipped out of the sheets, stepping lightly on the cool wood floor. Instead of a long nightgown or robe, she wore a pair of light gray pants and a simple long-sleeved white shirt, buttoned down the front. Walking past the thin pool of light on the ground, she entered her attached bathroom and stood for a moment before the sink, looking blankly into the mirror.
Last night, after delivering her news, Illusia had decided that there was nothing they could do about it. There was no way to send a reliable message spell, not with the distances and barriers involved. To do so might only set Lord Jett and the others in more danger, she knew, but...
Biting her lip, she shook her head and turned on the tap, splashing cold water on her face. Straighting up, Aketh ran a slender and calloused hand over her face, shaking water from it to the floor.
She would go to look for Illusia before breakfast. Maybe if she could catch him when he wasn't distracted as he had so obviously been the previous night the two of them would be able to think of something, or at least figure out a way to make the return voyage safer for them.
...Besides, hadn't the Officer told her to come talk to him if she ever had any need for help?

Illusia was, at the very moment, still sleeping and would probably continue doing so for an hour or two if nothing woke him. It had been late yesterday, too late to tell the truth, but he had gotten a lot done so he had figured he could sleep in a bit that morning. However, if anyone required his presence or help he wasn't about to rollover and continued to prance around in dream land.
