Cordelia & Norah
Half-Mermaid Sisters

The morning sun beamed down on the two sisters.
Cordelia, the eldest, had herself wrapped around Norah in order to protect her from the sun.
Something terrible had happened last night, as both the girls slowly started to remember what had happened.
Their father's ship- The S.S. Caspian, had capsized.
Oh no...

"Norah, Please wake up. Something terrible happened." She said, shaking her sister awake.
Nggghh... Norah slowly opened her icy colored eyes.
The light was so bright that her eyes looked almost purple; a side-effect to her Albinism.
"Oh!." Norah awoke with a jolt, and immediately hugged her sister to calm down.
"It's okay, Norah, We'll be okay. Father will find us and maybe we can go back home." Cordelia said,
gently patting her sister's back as they hugged to calm her down.

Both the girls dried off.
They were wearing the clothes they wore when they were on their father ship, except they were a bit torn up.
Once dry, they transformed back into humans.
The sisters walked along the beach for awhile to look for their Dad.
There was no sign of him.

"Where could he be?" Norah asked, beginning to worry.
Cordelia wasn't sure how to answer since she didn't want to scare her sister.
All she could do is adjust her broken glasses and nod in reassurance to her sister.
"Our father is alright. He's somewhere, I know it.."
Tears began to well up in Cordelia's eyes. She feared the worst.

Half-Mermaid Sisters

Cordelia, adjusted her glasses as she looked towards the woman. She had beautiful orange hair and hazel eyes. "She's pretty." Norah said impulsively. She was a bit tired after all, and did not mean to be rude in any way.

Before Cordelia could say anything to Norah, she approached."Oh, thank you." Cordelia replied, taking the towel. She gave a light smile in appreciation towards the woman. Norah took the other towel and wore it like a cape.

"We're looking for our Dad." Norah answered, as she noticed she was stepping on a familiar looking hat.
"Sis, look! I found his hat!"
She exclaimed with joy as she put it on her head with a smile.

Cordelia then looked back at the woman, her usual happy self becoming more prominent. Perhaps there was hope after all.
"Our father is lost at sea, and our mother died a long time ago. My name's Cordelia, and this is my sister Norah."
She explained in an attempt to introduce herself.

"We could use all the help we can get.."
