"Oh...It's okay. He's really right. I really don't have as much power as my siblings, because my mother's just a nymph." Jordi shook his head, but offered Hotari a small, shy smile. "But...thank you."
He held the vial tight a few moments more before letting it go.

The girl wanted to object to what the boy spoke, but she knew well enough on her own how hard it could be to believe in yourself, especially when someone was always bringing you down. "Well," she started, offering a smile as she shifted to link her arm with his. "You don't have to worry about any of that here, do you?" She smiled after him, offering a wink as she gave his arm a squeeze. "I'm glad to see you again, Jordi~ I was afraid I wouldn't find any of my old friends here."

Jordi nodded, smiling again. "I was worried that I wouldn't find anyone that I knew either...Not that I knew many to begin with."

"I didn't really either..." She let out a soft, shy little laugh and averted her gaze some. She had known plenty of others in the Underground, but it seemed to her that all the relationships she'd formed she'd somehow managed to also destroy. "But there don't seem to be many hanging out here anymore...Maybe we can both make friends with whoever happens to move into the place?"

Hotari's eyes widened slightly as Jordiar jumped, but near errupted with giggles over his question, shaking her head as she gently pat his shoulder. "No, not at all! I spend money when I'm bored and wanted to refamiliarize myself with the mall..and buy stuff." She giggled, biting her lip as she drew up a shoulder. "I'm actually glad we ran into eachother, Jordi. Shopping is a lot more fun when you have someone to go with. I'm not distracting you though, am I?"

"Oh, not at all! Rayel just said I should get out of the shop..." Jordi smiled. "And besides, my half sister came back with us for real this time, so she's moving in, and I wouldn't want to get in her way..."

"Well, maybe you'd like to come shopping with me, then?" She smiled as she looked after him, her apple eyes reflecting easily the hopes she held that he would agree. "I'll buy you something?" Giggles spilled from her lips and she gave him her best puppy-dog look. "It'll be funnnnn~"

"Well, I like it!" She let out a laugh, blushing softly as she shifted to gently draw him back to walking with her at a slow pace. "But if you decide you're getting bored, we can go do something else?"

Hotari's nose scrunched up slightly and she shook her head. She wanted to tell him how horrible it had been, but she also wanted to simply push the memories from her mind. "It...was nice, I guess..." She wasn't quite sure how to offer somebody the truth about her visit, that her father had gone mad and nearly killed her mother, that her mother had gone into such an intense depression that she nearly killed herself, that she and her full siblings were all caught in the middle of something that nobody could help them with.
"I'm kind of glad to be away again, though."

Jordi nodded, then rubbed at his necklace again, before pointing at a store along the edge. "There's a clothes store. Girls...Girls like clothes, right?"

When they reached the doors at the food court of the mall Daire pushed open the door and waited for Katia to enter before following behind her. "So, where would you like to go first...?" he asked, as he moved away from the door as to not be in anyone's way.

Katia's eyes widened as she looked about the mall. Busy with people and the stores, there were so many! She looked to him with a bright smile. "I do not know where to start," she admitted, leaning towards him and further into the mall. "I suppose there are many types of stores."
