Pen had dozed off while riding her Onix. Apparently rocks got warm in the sun and were comfier than some would have guessed.
When the Eevee appeared suddenly, Pen had just woken up.
"Hey... must be there soon..." She rubbed her eyes and leaned against the Onix's horn.

Rose nodded. "Yeah...I'm a breeder, but not of this kind of pokemon. And I kind of just got started...I didn't have anything big enough for the trip. Horns here seems pretty nice though. I thought most of his kind were prone to running around all wild like. So far all he's wanted to do is eat."

It was while they were traveling along that Danny heard what he thought was the most absurd suggestion for a trip of this kind. "Play cards?" He looked around to find whoever had suggested it and noticed someone with a very deft hand. This person was shuffling their cards while riding their Ponyta. Interested, Danny asked, "How long did it take to practice that?"

"Well you lived close enough." Alexa said. This was the second person she had met that lived/lives in a mansion. Her own family home was big but that was more due to the size of her family and not their wealth. "I'm sure it was nice living near the city but not in it."
Vincent was getting bored just walking and was starting to slow down. He was looking from side to side looking for something to chase. Alexa had noticed this and gave him several poffins from a pack to keep him occupied for a little longer.

She could already tell she'd be making plenty of new acquaintances on this journey. And she couldn't wait to get to Motterossa. While she wasn't particularly interested in catching an Eevee, she was certainly looking forward to seeing all of them.

Rei trotted up to around the middle area of the purple group and flicked her tail at the thought of having to stay with the group. Rachel calmly and gently tugged on Rei's reins to slow the ponyta down. She then started to enjoy looking at their surroundings. "It's such a nice day."

Lady Mist  Lumina chuckled at his comments, "Well, I wouldn't say it's always about speed. Don't always have to join the crowd if you don't think it's the right time I suppose."
Notebook at hand, Lumina's pen was practically flying off the page, worried she might miss anything more. She would have been proud of herself had she bothered to realize she was riding without holding onto the reigns, "Oh this is thrilling!" The watcher nearly bubbled over, "It'll be a wonder to see so many at once after having never seen one in person before."
She shook her head, "I don't, actually. I'm looking for one to help me out in the wild. Perhaps even an eevee." Lumina grinned again.

@ Blue and thy Opal chuckled. "I suppose it was nice. I mean, not living in the city. There was a lot less commotion and it was quiet. Of course, living near the marshes wasn't always Pecha berries and cream." SHe smiled nervously. It was okay to tell a little bit about her life, but not too much. She wasn't sure that all of the agents her mother hired were off the case. Nerezza, still coiled around Opal's arm, began dozing off, and Ursalyn stayed on her steady pace, while Itzal wriggled in his Pokeball, wanting attention.

Kiyo looked around. It sounded like someone was talking to him. Finally, he noticed a boy who was looking at the deck being shuffled in his hands. He stopped shuffling the cards to talk to the boy. Kiyo wasn't very good at multi-tasking after all. "Quite a while actually!" he said. "I had a lot of time to spare coming all the way from Celadon."

He was saved by any further contemplation by the sound of another voice to the other side of Rhia. In order to get a better look at the girl, he leaned forward, lying completely flat upon the disgruntled Tauros' neck, elbows propping him up on the poor beast's skull. "Hey there!" Carter waved, "Sorry to but in, but I'm Carter. You really haven't missed too much."

"Nice to meet you as well. This is Carter," she introduced, not wanting to be rude and cut anyone out of the conversation.
It was nice to know another person in her group. She still didn't know where Anima had gotten to, and didn't see her. She hoped everything was all right, and that the other healer had just found someone new to talk to.

 Was that an Eevee? Robin squinted down at where the flash of brown fur had oh-so-briefly appeared. He hadn't been able to quite see from high atop the Onix, but he heard enough cries of 'Eevee!' from the others to confirm it. Good, they were approaching their destination, and more quickly than he'd expected.
"Now, names for you," he said once again to the Onix. "If 'Rocky' is out, I guess you'll say the same to 'Stony.'"
The Onix sniffed indignantly.
"Indeed. Well..." Robin looked around at the scenery, once again spotting the mountains. "What do you say to 'Everest'?"
"Nix! Nix! Oooonix!"
"I'll take that as a 'no.' 'Himalaya'?"
The Onix actually turned her head around and made a face at that one.
"All right, all right... Wait, I've got a good one. How about 'Etna'?"
The Pokemon slowed her constant slithering, and for a moment Robin thought she had found the name so heinous that she would throw him to the ground. But then she looked at him with what might have been a beaming smile on a face that was not made of solid rock. "Ooonnnnnix, oooonnnnnnnix!"
"Well then," Robin said, grinning, "'Etna' it is!"

"Oh my." Jenn said, half-shocked by the reappearance of the Legendary bird. She was almost more shocked by the fact that there was a person on it's back, who was starting to talk to her. Sir gave a snort, as if that could reclaim his manliness that he had apparently lost by being spooked eariler. The rental ponyta glared at the Lugia for a moment, then rolled his eyes, to convey that he really wasn't upset. Jenn heard the Lugia's apparent trainer, and looked over at the girl. "Oh, it's fine. He was just taken by surprise a bit. Quite frankly, so was I." Jenn shrugged, still looking at the Legendary and trainer. "Well, I mean, you don't see Legendaries just out and about that much, right? So, you this fine bird's trainer?" She asked the girl on the Lugia, almost not believing such a thing was possible.
She was distracted by the girl who'd been racing off eariler, who was waving at her. "Oh, hi there. I'm Jenn. I was just making sure you were alright, seeing as your pokemon took off like that, and pulled you with them." Jenn shrugged and smiled, juggling her attention between the two trainers on either side of her.
