Penners shook her head to clear it as others led the way in. Then she spotted Liz. "Liz! Haven't seen you in a while, how ya doing?" She held a paw out to her to help her through the hole.

Group work, that was the key here. Instead of wasting time on their own petty squabbles, it was time to actually accomplish something. Lucine found herself admiring the very determined rattata, the one who kept running against the door again and again. Very admirable that. Once the door broke down, she let out a yip of a cheer, happy to finally see the thing break.
She was less delighted to see another door blocking their progress. But, her dark mood didn’t last very long. “We’ve broken through one door. We can do it again! Like Lila said, ice attacks first. Those of us who used physical attacks should stop to catch our breath a little.” Hmm… if they worked in shifts, it would be so much easier. Finding a puddle of water, Lucine happily stopped to slake her thirst. It was tough work, trying to bash a door down, especially for such small creatures.

After the door was smashed open, Jaidev turned around and left the group proceeding through the broken door. The marowak would not leave the pokeball alone unattended if she could help it. Scooping it up, she held it against her protectively as she made her way back up. Through the broken door and behold there was another door. She knew she should help with ice attacks but she wasn't willing to leave her pokeball unattended more than it had to. Besides...smashing things was simply much more fun.

Blinking, Doom turned his head just inside to see one of the irritating Murkrows disappear inside a Safari Ball that just happened to bounce back to him. Hmm. He picked it up in his jaws and sauntered past the door, following the crowd. Setting the ball down in the corner, he decided he'd pick it up later; Jaime would need some cheering up after all of this. Watching as the other Pokemon tried to bust down one of the doors, Doom decided to watch, surprised when they actually managed to bust it down.

No one else seemed too excited to help her with the second door, which was alright. She was tired out after the first one as well, but she was determined to get through the door and to her Claire's things. Besides, she had tasty treats in there, too! Plus, there might be something useful in her bag; she knew Claire always kept an assortment of useful things in there.
The ice beam ceased as she paused, panting slightly. It was hard to keep it going after the last door, but she had to! She dropped to all fours, another ice beam forming at her gem for a moment or two before hurtling towards the door. She'd break this door down herself, if she had to! She had to get to Claire's things!

Penners went through the crack in the door and saw that work had begun on the next by a single pokemon. She knew she was useless during this part of the door-breaking-plan, and at first thought she would sit and watch. Then she noticed the other panting and realized the ice attacks were a bit slower that before. "Do you... do you need something to eat? I could go down to the kitchens for you..." Penners offered.

Lila noticed the rattata coming over, thinking she was going to sit and watch like one or two others - but then she started speaking. Pausing in her ice attack, she plopped herself down on her rear end and sighed a bit, deciding to take a break. "No, I don't need anything to eat, but thanks very much for offering," she said earnestly. Well, she was a bit hungry, but she could simply get something from the kitchen downstairs after she broke this damned door down.
"What's your name?" She asked suddenly, turning golden eyes onto the purple pokemon. "Mine's Lila. And, you know, you did a really good job on the first door," the dark-type said with a grin.

Her thirst gone, Lucine went up to help out Lila. No one else seemed eager any more, but that was their problem. They just didn’t want to see their trainers as much as Lila and the others. The ice attacks were slowing, even she could see that. And the sneasel wouldn’t do anyone any good if she was too exhausted to stand. “Lila,” she said, her voice soft. “Go rest a while. I’ll try to break down the door while you’re resting.”
Yes. With her miniscule mewvee strength, she would totally break it down! The pink mew-turned-eevee smiled at Penners, thankful for her help with convincing Lila to take a break. "She's right, you know. You should take a short break. It'll be fine. I promise you, the door will still be here for you to break down. Unless the others break it down first, of course."

"Alright," she said, a little in awe of how this one could do so much and still have energy reserves to spare. She was getting a bit hungry herself and knew she'd definitely have to eat something before day's end. She hoped some of the others came soon to help or they might be all night at this door.
"I'm Penners... and thank you. Though, I wasn't nearly as helpful as you and the other elementalists," she said with a bit of a shrug. "My bashing would have been for nothing, otherwise."

"Why were we breaking through the door again?" asked liz, belatedly wondering why she had been banging her head against a cold door.
It DID feel Better.
"Hey Penners. I felt like someone dragged me through a den of Meowths earlier, but for some odd reason I feel better"

((I had to go do stuff but I'm back. XD; ))
Daybreak dried herself off after the first door was broken down, so she wouldn't catch a cold. The last thing she needed was to be sick and slowed down. Once she was no longer wet, she went over to the room containing the trainer's things, where there were considerably less Pokemon trying to break it down.
"I guess you need my help too." She muttered and unleashed a psychic blast at the door. The invisible force left a dent in it, and she continued to try and break it open.

The dark-type sighed again, pondering. Well, she could go eat real fast, and then run back up to help... yes, that sounded like a good idea! She wanted to help break the door down, but if it was already broken by the time she got there, then good. She just wanted to find their humans as soon as they could. The door didn't go to them, but it at least went to their stuff. That was something.
"Alright," the golden-eyed pokemon relented, pushing herself up onto her hindlegs. "I'll go get something to eat from the kitchen. Do either of you want anything to eat while I'm down there?" She knew she could find cookies somewhere for Lucine, or possibly candy.

"Behind this door are our trainer's belonging," explained Penners to Liz. "And that's good your feeling better,"she said cheerfully.
Se nodded to Lila. "I could do with some food, but no sense making you carry it all yourself, right?" She got up and went toward the stairs too. "I'll help you carry some up, then we might be able to feed everyone involved." She gave a single, assertive nod. She wasn't going to let Lila tire herself out on her account. No sir.

Liz shrugged. She had actually forgotten she was rented, not free.
Shame. Shed like to not have to help the trainer... Who were they again? All she could remember was that the trainer who rented her THIS time was female.
Oh Well.
Penner seemed to want to do this, so Liz figured she'd help a bit more.
Maybe she'd find something interesting for herself.
She tackles the door, since there was nothing for her to bite... that wouldn't crack a tooth.

 Nookies look at the other pokemon and wonder what was going on. "Hello? Anyone do you know what is going on?"he said confused. He look up and then down. "Anyone.....
