((Next time, you should consider that on the deck of the ship, she's not usually on the Com. Especially when muttering.))
"Maybe next time you should show up to the briefing, rather than blowing it off too," She sighed to herself, as she stared at the target. The orbital station was just in sight, as she turned to the communications officer.
"Signal the missleboats to give them a volley. Have the bombers right on their tail, and the escorts stickign to them like glue. Keep the arrogant sith back with half the group for a second run, if we encounter any problems. If he disobeys this order, he's bound to be executed."

Kawaii watched and nodded, as the missles flew towards the base. The station didn't have time to react, and most made contact. It was going good so far.
~~~~~~~~~
"Hmm, just to be safe, let's be ready in case..." Ritt said, though his words were cut short by the klaxon going off. "Well, at least we had a little warning. Get dressed, but wait 'till i'm there to take off. I doubt anyone can scramble as fast as us."
Ritt sprinted, not knowing what was going on in particular, but he had to do his duty. He sprinted as fast as he could down the halls, though cluttered, most were able to keep to one side, leaving the other enough room for the quick Jedi to hit his room and tear off his clothes and into the flight suit in a record 40 seconds. Guys are at least lucky in the respect they can undress so quickly. His helmet was snagged quick as a s**t, boots laced up in no time flat. At least the Force helped that much. Almost three minutes had gone off since the claxon started, as he made it to the hangar and began chatting with the tower.
"Daredevil, standing by and awaiting orders, over. Update requested..."
~~~~~~~
Nakara gave a chuckle as he heard the fight going on down on the planet. His guest had arrived, and not the first of the 'elites' which he had expected, but the one he held some innate interest in.
"So glad you could come. As much as you hate this place, I'd rather not have you kill all the competitor's off before the race, as some have already started to try and do. Other sith will be here tonight, so don't think of this as anything devious."

Aurora nodded to Ritt and took off at a dead run hot on his heals, following him down the ship’s corridors as crewer’s rushing to their action stations made a hole for two jedi. She skidded to a halt in front of her quarters, hitting the open button she squeezed through the opening and into her room before the door had fully opened. As the door closed behind her, she striped out of her sweet soaked gym clothing and started to pull on the tight fitting flight suit. Stuffing her flight journal into her thigh pocket and clipping on her lightsaber hilt to her belt, she grabbed her helmet and rushed out of her room, heading for the flight deck. It was noisy inside of the hanger, ground crews prepping fighters and helping the pilots strap in to their machines of war. Aurora ran to her fighter, climbed in, and started to strap herself in as her ground crew made last minuet checks to her bird. Pulling her helmet over her head, she keyed the comm to listen in on any instructions as her fingers flew across the instrument board, smiling as the light’s burned a steady green. “Eleven is ready.” She said into her comm as her canopy closed.

The Mandalorian adjusted her gaze to look at the Sith, fingering her blaster with a predator's eagerness to kill. "Keep out of my head, dar'jetii. Thats your last warning." She growled. "Now where do I go to get this thing started?"

Nakara gave a laugh at the mandalorian. "That wouldn't be any way to get a 'head' with you, now would it? I would no sooner forcibly pry through your head than you would give up your culture. One, any ripping of information from your skull would be painful, and two, it is so much better when you give me information voluntarily."
He gave a sigh, knowing the mandalorian's presence would be limited. "I have no interest in getting on your bad side either, afterall, the escalation between the sith and your clans in recent months was all my doings. I'd much rather let you wipe out the arrogant barves which clutter my culture. But you're here to win the money, and I'm here to scout potential. The race starts here, on Nar Shaddaa, in orbit. Every ship will have a reciever node to update them on the race specs as they pass through specific waypoints denoted by the local constellations. But please, rest while you can. Who knows, I might even be generous enough to offer you a solution to that little ghost you carry around with you."

"Spaceborne Warning and Control System Jedi Watch to all scrambling defense craft. The situation has not been ascertained. Emergency Scramble procedures have been initiated, follow individual instructions on a per area basis," Ritt announced over the coms, as each fighter craft began checking in. Some had already beaten Ritt there, but as leader, he'd probably take off first. "Malastare is currently under attack by unidentified aircraft. Eleven, three second delay on your launch, and hang tight. Two, four, ten second delays, full burn, we're going hot and loaded."
"This is Bathurst to unnamed squadron, listen up. Spacecraft who were already on patrol are being sent your way, call them in when you need backup, over," tower responded on a secondary com.
"Tower? One, requesting permission to commit emergency scramble, over."
"Permission granted, over." Ritt flipped the switches across the dashboard, lighting up and arming all weapons prematurely, just in case, including the ballistic homing weaponry.
"Jedi Watch, we have no authorization as of yet to initiate a retreat. We must intercept them at all costs. The space around sector B7 has a large scale force moving towards it, lots of fighters. Hope you're hungry, because it's dinner time, over."
He throttled up, letting the ship's repulsors lift it up off the gear, and coasted it over to the left side of the door, waiting for his wingman to follow suit, as the landing gear retracted. Giving only three seconds for Aurora to catch up, he lit the burn to full, and blasted out into the space sky, banking left and turning towards the station.

Cene's mask hid her reaction to the information she was given. There was only the stare of the Mandalorian Visor. "I dont think he really considers you a threat." She said in response to his offer. "Otherwise I'd only have to worry about one of you at this point. Now why tell me that you set the Mandalorians and Sith at each other? It doesnt seem the sort of information you would want to so readily reveal."

"It's been what, two, three months since I visited that villiage? And not a single Mandalorian in any clan was able to pick up the trail of gizmos and gadgets all stamped with the sith logo on it? The only sith who has come and even bothered you at all in the last year was me, and suddenly an entire band of warriors is wiped out by Durge singlehandedly and causes a war of mando versus robo-mando? Please, the facts are far too obvious not to be a total setup. Even the sith council was able to catch wind, which is partially why I'm letting their assassins stay on board this ship tonight. I'm hoping for some 'shocking' results," Nakara apathetically retorted.
"Plus, it doesn't matter who you tell. The Sith already know, the Jedi are snooping around. And as I figure, the information is useless to you. The mandalorian clans are already engaged in a war they started. If they back out, they lose reputation for their fighting spirit. They are too few in number to split their attention to both me and the sith. And it's not like I'm easily killed, so what do I care if I let you have a little secret to profit from. So I have to have a punchline somewhere."

“Roger lead.” Aurora replied. Silently she counted down and when she reached the end, she feed power to her bird’s repulsor lift generators. Maneuvering her fighter to launch position, mindful of the ground crews as she followed in Ritt’s wake. She retracted her ship’s landing gear and nosed her bird out of the hanger bay, slamming the throttle to the firewall she feed full military power the her main drive once she was free and clear of the magnetic shield. She levered the stick over and pressed on the rudder peddle and she ship backed to the left as she raced after Ritt’s war bird to fall into formation.

"So what exactly is stopping me from killing you right now for what you did to my people?" Cene asked, tapping a finger meaningfully on her gun. "Your droids? Your magicks? They really arent going to be much good against me."

"What happens when an unstoppable force collides with an immovable object? Draw your blaster, I'm sure our relationship will go off with a bang. But then again, I have no desire to kill you, and nobody can kill me, so we'll just ignore the possible and work the plausible," He said, turning around and beckoning to a laborer.
"See, it's not easy being everyone's ally. I aid the mandelorians by repositioning sith fleets and giving them detailed accurate information as best I can. I aid the jedi by similiar methods. The sith get more territory from my conquests. The hutts are pretty much in an invisible chain, freed from the bondage of sith masters, let loose to wreck havoc on the galaxy. What I've done to your people is nothing. And killing me won't stop the war they started. If anything, it will sabotague yourself more than I ever could. So the question is, mandalorian, besides temporary personal satisfaction, what is there to gain?"
The small droid skittered around, as he signed off on a waiver and sent the thing running.
"If you want to join the assassins tonight, go for it. I can tell you though, the joke is a killer. First, you'd have to find which one of us was the real Nakara. But enough of this talk. It should be reserved for street thugs and amateurs."
~~~~~~~~~~
Slowly and surely, the squadron formed up, as Ritt led the pack towards the station.
"Keep tight and conservative. We're numerically at a disadvantage. Let's show them skill makes up for numbers."
"What is there for me to gain by killing you? Well for starters you're responsible for engineering the needless deaths of my people. Then theres also the fact I could collect payment from your rivals for your charred corpse. And of course theres the personal satisfaction I would get from ridding the Galaxy of yet another annoying pest." The barrel of her blaster shifted slightly to the floor and her gaze seemed to track the small droid as it rolled away. "I'll rest in my ship. When does the event begin tomorrow?"
Sonya watched as the first hits on the station connected. So far everything had gone according to plan. The station had no resistance, though anyone could tell that would change. The escort groups should be enough for now though.
"Move the corvette groups in and give them some support," she announced. "I hpe this doesn't get too boring.."
When the fight had calmed down after a lengthy, rowdy brawl, only a fifth of the origional combatants still stood, Pash and Ardee among them. In the last moments of the fight, the droid had returned using the melee as a cover. Until they got a chance for a secure communication line, he didnt know if her recon had pulled up anything useful. Pash had held his own in the fight, rolling with what few punches managed to hit him and taking down directly five of his competetors. "Well now we know who deserved entry into this fight." He muttered quietly. "I think most of the pro pilots bought it." Ardee said, toeing an unconcious Nikto in a flight jacket. "That aught to ease the space lane congestion." "Good. I'm not that great a pilot."
Oovo IV. A shielded, desolate asteroid where some of the worst criminals in the Republic were kept under lock and key. Oovo IV was the largest Asteroid in a ring that orbited a Gas giant, the other 3 Oovos being used as watch stations and hangars for the prison's security forces.
It was here, in a moderate sized, ray shielded cell, the Jedi Lord Malcom Stryder sat in meditation, attuned to the Force and watching passively the events of the Galaxy as best he could through the Living Force.
Somewhere, the Sith he was supposed to have been directed to fight were on the move, attacking yet another world. Elsewhere, light and dark forces were concentrating upon a lawless planet, all drawn by a sinister, twisted hand. He could sense many things through the Force, see many things, bear witness to events lightyears away. Though uncertain were many things, he had plenty of time to practice his farseeing.
According to the Republic, he had a Lifetime to practice. That is, unless they decided to Execute him for treason. Politics was odd that way.
“Roger lead.” Aurora jockeyed her control stick and her fighter maneuvered to fall into formation with the rest of her squadron. Her heads were sweaty and her hart thundered away with in her chest. Reaching out to the force, she calmed her nerves and steadied her hart rate. This was it, her first time in combat and she was not about to let the squad down. She ran one more systems check and primed her bird’s weapons, smiling to herself as the lights burned a steady green.
