"I think I'd be staying even if i didn't want to. Good thing I do." She said with a slight smile. She kept her arms around him and lay back against the headbored. She was asleep soon afterwards. Himi curled up in her lap, giving Kei a small lick on the face. She watched the door to see who would come in.

Yuhi sat bolt upright in his bed as a feeling of dread washed over him. He quickly got out of bed and went down the hall to check on his brother but found his bed, and the rest of the house, empty. He rubbed his stomach as he started feeling a little sick. "Why do I have this feeling that something bad has happened?"
Kei whimpered in his sleep as he had nightmares, first dreaming about his mothers death and now his fathers. We're orphans now...alone. Why did this have to happy when father and I were just getting to know each other again?

Mai-lin shifted and woke up. She saw Kei was having a nightmare and frowned. She didn't want to wake him up she just ran her hand through his hair, trying to calm him down. After awhile she drifted off to sleep again.

The next time Kei woke up, he was calmed down...until he realized that Mai-lin was sleeping beside him with her arms around him. His face was only a few inches from hers and he knew that he was blushing again. Dammit, all this blushing is making me feel like a girl. He thought and tried to move away but her grip was rather tight. "Mai-lin...wake up." He gently shook her, hoping she'd wake. There was something he needed to do.

mai-lin opened her eyes slowly and looked at Kei. When she saw how she had been sleeping her face turned a bright red and she let go of the boy. "I'm sorry!" She said. "I'm so sorry, Kei."

He just shrugged and got out of the bed. "I think...I'm starting to get used to it." Kei smiled and went over to the closet and pulled out his clothes. "I'm leaving today no matter what the nurses or doctors say. I want to tell Yuhi what happened before anyone else does. Will you go with me? If you saw what happened, he's going to want to know."

Anekio moved a little and sighed, opening one eye to see an ANBU in front of her. "Takeshi...Konohamaru-Senpai...Ugh...I couldn't stop him..." She couldn't finish her setences, closing her eyes again.

"Just rest. We'll take care of him." The ANBU murmered, his head raising when a few nurses came in. The body in the hallway had been moved, and a few of the nurses went to move Konohamaru's body, while the others came to take care of Anekio. The ANBU hung around to make sure everything was going okay.
Ran shook her head slightly, though she didn't pull her hand away. She looked over to a spot on the floor, chewing on her lip slightly. "Mai-Lin hates me... I was a traitor from the start, here, and I don't want to hurt anyone, anymore..." She murmered. "If I stay, people will be upset, and get hurt... Takeshi will be back, or even someone else from the mist to get their 'Kaguya Tool', and you even... I'm not going back to Kirigakure, so... if I run away, nobody will get hurt... right?" She frowned and looked over to Tori, her eyes brimming with unshed tears.

Anekio shifted slightly as if saying yes, but her words weren't in agreement. She wanted to stop that b*****d, but fate wasn't agreeing today. "Takeshi....I've gotta....stop..." She gave up though, falling unconcious from the lack of blood.

One of the nurses swore under her breath before they put Anekio on a stretcher and took her to get her wounds sewn up, and blood transferred to her. The ANBU watched for a few moments more before disappearing to notify the hokage.

"Just because you're from Mist and they betrayed us, it doesn't automatically make you a traitor. You're only a traitor if you had intentions of doing something that would cause Konoha or its people harm. Even if you go, he'll still go after you. He's got years of experience tracking and is the Mists top assassin. How long do you link you could hide from him?" Tori gave the girl a smile. "Ran, Konoha can protect you, protect both of us, if we allow it. Will you stay with us? If you want and the Hokage agrees, you could become a Konoha nin if you hate your village so much."

Ran seemed to think this over for a little while, before giving a nod. "As long as I can hold on to my dad's h- MY BOX!" She almost leapt out of bed, but only managed to get her feet over the side before she went into a violent coughing fit.
A nurse soon came in to check on Ran, and had almost a horrified look on her face. "She's not supposed to be awake!" she murmered, rushing forwards to help the Kaguya lean back onto the bed again, an oxygen mask being brought forwards to help the girl breath.
As Ran's coughing began going down a bit, the nurse turned an eye on Tori. "How long has she been awake? She needs rest, Tori-sama, and you need it, too..."

"She hasn't been up too long. I'll stay in here until she falls back to sleep, then go back to my room, okay? Ran and I still have things to talk about." Tori got up from the chair and went to the closet. "Ran, all of your things are in here."

After a while, the nurses and doctors had Anekio sewn up and new blood in her. She rested in her room, the medical people waiting for the Anestegia to wear off before they would let ANBU in to give her a full "Q and A" about what happened to Konohamaru and what Takeshi was doing there.

As Ran's eyes set on the black box at the bottom of the closet, she seemed to relax a little. Coughing back to minimal irritation, the oxygen mask was pulled away and she was left to breath on her own. Allowing herself to relax a little, her gaze shifted to the ceiling.
After making sure Ran was better, the nurse looked back to Tori. "If this happens again, press the button by the door, and then return to your room." She murmered. Giving one last look-over of the Kaguya, she left the room.
"I hate hospitols..." Ran mumbled, shifting back into a sitting position after the nurse had left.
