Remus gently set Rikku in an upright postion against the wall. He walked back to Lina. He stood only a short ways off. "Lina...?"

The scream suddenly stopped and Lina's body went limp, the only thing keeping her up was that spell keeping her in place. She was unconscious, but the eyes and laughter was gone. She was free atlast.

Remus nodded and caught her as the spell released. He took her to the wall and continued to hold her up. Traces of worry still played over his features. Don't ask me to watch her in pain and let me do nothing about it...

A few moments later, Troden had taken to the rooftops along with his army of older vampires he had named the Black Lotus. These warriors he himself had battled alongside with long ago and their thoughts were almost along the lines as his. He trusted them to do their duty. As he landed in front of a seemingly deserted street, he heard the footsteps of a fourth of his members separating in the direction of all the most populated human areas. Time to start hell.
Troden grinned as his eyes began to glow red, pupils and all as he raised his arms. A small red opal was floating in front of him as he loked at a blank spot of the sidewalk, concentrating hard on it. He had a feeling he would fine what he was looking for there. The Lotus base.

Lina slowly opened her eyes, they redness was gone and so was the blood tears. But that didn't stop her from crying silently. If the was a bottom to her shame, she had just reached it.
