Baran's breath leapt from his throat, catching against the roof of his mouth. This was a vastly magical document, although the pressure at the bridge of his nose only increased minutely.
He leaned forward, gaping at the map.

The overwhelming magic that brought Baran to his feet made Jett's stomach turn and his mind cloud. Without saying a word to anyone, he stood, swaying, and staggered for the entrance of the cave.

"Lord Jett, are you alright?"asked Celia, as she saw him heading outside. Something looked very wrong with the way he was walking....she almost thought it looked like he had a bit too much to drink.

"I n-need....some air...." He paused long enough to look at Celia. His eyes, no longer the ink black depth, met hers, as scarlet as fresh blood. But he turned back again, and stumbled out of the cave. The group could hear vomiting, then, nothing.

Yes, this is a sign I love Blood Banking too much. whee ))

"Lord Jett!"Celia was obviously very concerned, especially after noticing the color of his eyes: Being sick to your stomach did not usually alter the color of one's eyes. She flinched a little, and tried to get up to check on him, but her leg was stubbornly keeping her from doing so.
Yoko seemed to notice this, and flew outside to see if Jett was alright. "O.K.?"asked the tiny puff, landing on the ground behind Jett, as not to get in his way.

Baran lurched unsteadily to his feet, blinking hard as his vision momentarily clouded over. That... that had not been an average reaction to, well, anything the Fighter could think of.
Baran's hand rested momentarily on Celia's shoulder as she called out before being hastily withdrawn. His mind turned slowly to matters of practicality.
"Some," he swallowed, throat suddenly dry, "someone should get him water."

XD;;; I tire of your dilly-dalling. *laughs and does it just like that by snapping her fingers* That's how things/where things usually ends in fanfics so you don't need to see it all. *lazy*))
The sky was relatively clear, the morning air fresh but with a slight coolness to it. Inside the cave the fire the visitors to the continent had built was still burning but was a lot smaller than last time their guard had seen it. Everyone had, in the end, fallen asleep, whatever they had agreed upon, impossible to blame them though, the storm had been a rough one. Outside the grass and foliage was somewhat wet from the light rain that had fallen during the night but the sun was shining from a pale blue sky.

Jett spent the night half-dozing outside the cave. He had refused to go back inside, stating that he needed to stay out in the ocean breeze. He felt feverish and weak, like he'd been stricken a chronic illness. The dizzying dreams had worsened, too, and Jett was never able get more than an hour's sleep at a time before jerking awake. In the end, morning found him dozing quietly, with Yoko perched on his knee.

Yoko blined a moment, and made a little kind of peep noise. He didn't want to wake Jett, especially after such a misirable night, but he did want to make sure the Dragon Lord was alright.
Celia had been up for a while. She made sure everyone else in the cave was soundly asleep, and then quietly started to sing to herself. It was a quiet, peaceful kind of song she had learned from her mother one day...A day that seemed a very long time ago...Had she not been so lost in though, and looked around, her doubts about whether her gift worked or not from earlier would have been immediately crushed: the small cuts and wound on those inside the cave were healing themselves as the notes floated through the air. Celia however, didn't seem to be getting too much better though.

"Morning, Yoko. Thanks for keeping me company." With a great yawn, covered by one hand, Jett, stretched out his other for the bird to perch on. They both walked back to the inside of the cave. "Ah, good morning, Celia. How are you feeling?" At the same time, he nudged his other two subjects with his foot, trying to wake them up.
