aw i'm glad ya got a vacay to look forward to! i was doing the same on steam re organizing my wish list lol. i def wanna pick up the "so glad you're here" game. its only a few hours and like 13 bux but its so dang charming. ive seen a playthru and still wanna play it myself and show the bf. silly funny!

i didnt realize they had the old "you don't know jack" games from the 90s on steam. they're like a buck each atm. imma get the few oldest ones i remember from when i was a kid this xmas!

got a load of wood on the way the bro is bringing. teh one we got sizzles in the fireplace so its too wet to burn which is bad cuz cresote can coat a chimney and start a fire. we found a guy who has a contract with cracker barrel and has to moisture check his wood with a digital device b4 they'll buy it. that sounds perfect and its cheaper than the last load we got so good deal! cold af this weekend!

we also had an old record cabinet for sale but one lady wants it for clothes and was struggling to pay for it so bro is just taking it to her for xmas for free lol.. he such a softie lol good juju tho!

i gotta get plastic rdy on porch for wood. they're letting me put this load on porch to keep dry. god it'll be nice not needing a truck or wheelbarrow! gotta go get the records outta cabinet b4 the "boss" gets back lol. he's a foreman. he was listning my "jobs" for me. his main concern is the fireplace being cleaned out. since going on this meds to turn his health around and losing all his chubbles he freezes all the time so i gotta keep the house piping this week while he's off rofl

got my nfc reader for amibo for 3ds. came all the way from japan! it was used but in the box with instructions in good shape. batteries altho i tossed those they'd been thru cold temps i'm sure and a free amibo card tucked in. so nice! wrapped that bugger for xmas! omg i cant shut up im supposed to be getting rdy for wood delivery baiiii! <3

Merryy belated xmas all!
It was a crazzy xmas eve but slogged through it, had a great time after, gifts then home to see folks and have dinner, then spent rest of day playing games.
It's been a crazy clean up operation for most of today unchristmasing everything xp
Already took the tree down from my camp in pocket camp and dying for a normal themed event finally so I can get more complete tickets.

All that prep for the wood gonna make for a toasty January though sounds like it'll be worth it, our chimney is decomissioned and would cost an extortionate amount to make functional again.

I'm about at the limit of what I can upgrade this laptop to and I'm loathe to replace it so I keep playing modern games a lil grainy looking lol. SSD upgrade is always worth it imo it was the first thing I did to mine so I could play Baldur's Gate without it being 80% loading screens.

I'm gonna have to upgrade eventually, probably later this year cause there are a few 2024 releases I want to be able to play.

So it didn't after calm down after christmas lol, it's just a crap tonne of exchanges and cleanings.
Someone I work with came in drunk yesterday morning so I was left to hard carry the entire place while she kept calling managers to try and get sent home (she did).

I'm still screencapping the catwalk announcements every week so I have a list of the backlog, not given up on it just deluged with annoying crap that means I can't dootle round on my laptop. heart

welp i'll find out tomorrow nite if i get the new pc upgrades or if it'll be friday! i'll be grateful either way but.. having more space and faster fancier gaming for new years would be a hoot! ive been wanting a reason to get back into sims 4 and just rly go nuts with it so i joined the official discord for it and added a few items to a wishlist. when the nvme and graphics card comes in i think i'll stick it on the nvme and crank up the graphics to max and give it a go trying some of the community challenges.

grinding on some wow tonite. got my shadow priest as tricked out from dungeons as can be. and some fancy raid stuff. now i gotta suck it up and go run the dk a lil more to finish off her stuff in case i need to tank next couple weeks. our offtank will be outta town. i prefer ranged caster but.. i can do melee tank occassionally.

hope everyone had a good week. im determined to just check out of reality the next month and try to enjoy the new pc upgrades. and fook new years resolutions i never keep lol. for a decade now my new years res has always been the same. try and be happy and appreciate life, friends and fam much as i can. the rest dont matter in the long run. new years i got a date with the bf for rock band clone so all set! maybe make some pizza early on!

Bf making a spread with pulled pork and we gonna have some peeps round, way smaller and more intimate than previous ones though.
Just means ppl get more food.

Yeee I wanna do the catwalk more, the last few weeks have just been so nuts I've been unaware of what day of the week it is, I have so much leave between now and march though so I can finally slow down and have more time for things

I looked at gaming laptop sales and ngl for the spec the prices rly aren't bad, I'm just replace my current one later in the year and make this one my travel one I'm not too scared to take on trains lol.

Glad we have the same plan to check out of reality for sec xp
