Pokemon Limits for Classes. Good enough or should the number be higher?
It's good how it is, I don't really use that many Pokemon.
It needs to be a bit higher but you're on the right track.

Cody0827
Cody pulled the necessary items from his pack. "I've got a Paralyz Heal, Dark," the boy nudged him, the healing item sitting in his hand. "Maybe you can pay me back with a Lava Cookie or two," he joked.

Dark takes the Paralyze Heal and hands Cody 200 PD.
"Thanks man. I'd recommend stocking up on them. They're really cheap and they're pretty much Full Heals."

Thorn took Rosie's hand, dragging her onto the cable car with him. They were the last pair on, and it wasn't great. Still, he glanced over his team. Despite Lulu's burn, he still seemed to be in good shape. Which would be necessary, if they were going to fight Magma.

"Alright! I'll be there faster than a toaros stampede." Dimitri replied to his message on his tads before he took out a pokeball and tossed it into the air, sending out his Tropius. Shortly after, Dimitri climbed onto his Tropius's back and wrapped his arms around the pokemons neck, "Lets go my leafy beast! Use fly to get us to Mt Chimney!" Following his trainers command, Tropius used fly to dive into the air and began to fly towards Mt. Chimney, carrying Dimitri on his back. As Tropius continued to fly towards Mt. Chimney and over the routes that led up to the volcanic place, Dimitri laughed joyfully while he looked down at the many routes, it was if he was enjoying the view. Eventually, Dimitri arrived at Mt. Chimney's cable car station from flying around on the back of his Tropius. Following this, Dimitri jumped off the back of his Tropius once a wild Darumaka slowly stepped towards him to challenge him.

"Well that hyperactive chica did say fight 2-3 fire pokemon... Go Tropius! Use Air Slash!" Following his trainers command, Tropius used air slash to attack the wild Darumaka with a slash of air, dealing a neutral amount of damage. The wild Darumaka got knocked back a bit from the air slashes attack before it used Fire Punch to punch the Tropius with a fire ignited fist, dealing a great amount of damage. "Hang in there! You can do it Tropius... Show off your strength and use Double Edge!" Following his trainers command, Tropius nearly collapsed from the devastating attack from the fiery punch before he leaped into the air and used double edge to tackle the wild Darumaka with a reckless/life risking attack, dealing a great amount of damage along with letting out a slight cry once the attack's recoil damage kicked in. The wild Darumaka used fire blast to fire an intense blast of all consuming fire at the Tropius, Dealing enough damage to finish him off. Following this, Dimitri took out Tropius's pokeball and pointed it at him, a red beam of light engulfed Tropius to return him back to his pokeball before he sent out his Wailmer to take his place. "Go Wailmer! Get vengeance for your fallen comrade and use Hydro Pump!" Following his trainers command, Wailmer used Hydro Pump to fire a huge volume of water at the wild Darumaka, dealing enough damage to finish the fiery pokemon off. Following this, A wild Cyndaquil suddenly stepped onto the battle to avenge the fallen Darumaka. The wild Cyndaquil immediately used flamethrower to fire an intense blast of fire at the Wailmer, dealing a neutral amount of damage while the attack induced a burn. "Another challenger? Well Wailmer... show him what you got and use Surf!" Following his trainers command, Wailmer collapsed and let out a cry once the burn inflicted it's damage before he used surf to summon a giant devastating wave to splash the wild Cyndaquil, dealing an enormous amount of damage, but not enough to finish it off. The wild Cyndaquil used inferno to fire an intense blast of fire at the Wailmer, dealing a great amount of damage. Following this, Dimitri took out a pokeball and tossed it at the wild Cyndaquil, watching as the pokeball pulled the wild pokemon into it. The pokeball fell to the ground before it began to move side to side. Several minutes later, the pokeball made a 'DING!' sound to indicate that the capture was successful. At last, Dimitri walked over to the pokeball and picked it up, jumping around excitedly to celebrate the new addition to his team. Shortly after, Dimitri placed the pokeball that had ensealed the wild pokemon in the holster which was attached to his belt. Then, Dimitri took out another pokeball, a pokeball that belonged to his injured pokemon and pointed the pokeball at Wailmer, watching as a red beam of light engulfed Wailmer to return him back to his pokeball. Eventually, Dimitri climbed into the cable car to join the rest of the group.

The cable car slowed to a halt as they reached the mountain top. Everyone piled out of the car. They found themselves in a wide open area, with a giant crater in the middle. Heat and bubbling sounds came up from out of the crater. They were atop an active volcano, and this was the opening! Across the gap they could see Team Magma grouped together.

Maddy turned to her teammates, her arms crossed.
"I don't want to be anywhere near this place if Maxie decides to make the mountain blow, but we need to try and stop him."
She pulled a small bag of potions and revives from her knapsack.
"If anyone needs their Pokemon revived or healed, take from this."
She tossed the bag amongst them all.
"We'll give Archie a few minutes to catch up to us. He wants to fight Maxie himself."

Allen nodded to Maddy's orders, taking the bag and pulling a few potions to heal Kabuto and his new Larvesta. Though he doubted Larvesta would be much help for this. He turned to look across the crater, the first thing he noticed was the heat feeling similar to that of a wave of fire wherever his skin was bare, it stung his eyes and probably singed a bunch of nose hairs. The air was heavy and hard to breathe, he found himself turning his head every now and again in an attempt to get a fresh breath of air. And then there was the group of Team Magma trainers across the large lake of lava. Heat rising from the volcano distorted the image of the enemy team. They looked so sinister with their hoods up, not to mention the orange and red lighting coming from beneath them didn't help at all.

Dimitri jumped out from within the cable car once the car arrived at the mountain top, landing feet first on the mountains rocky ground. Shortly after, Dimitri began to look around at the volcanic mountain before he noticed the hooded criminals grouped together on the other side of the volcanic mountain.

"Understood!" Dimitri replied as he reached into the bag and took out two revives, quickly stuffing them into his back pack for safekeeping. "I wish you luck Archie-boy... show this Maxie whose boss."

"I helped him design his team." Dark says to Maddy, grabbing a revive for his Chimchar. "Although we're banking on Maxie having a decent team."
He revives his Pokemon. "It needs a bit of work but he's really giving his all for it. I'm surprised that such a man had the spirit for Pokemon."

"So Team Aqua has finally arrived!" They hear a voice boom from over by the Magma grunts. Maxie was standing proudly beside some strange device. The meteorite could be seen under a glass lid, glowing ominously.
"Here to regain the meteor?! Or is this purely revenge! I hope someone among you can actually pose a challenge. That Archie is such a pushover, I don't know how he ever became your leader!"
All of Magma erupts into laughter.

Suddenly a Noivern, and other assortment of flying Pokemon come swooping in, bringing with them reinforcements. Archie and about 10 grunts appear.

"Laugh all you want Maxie, but you fall here!"
Archie growls.

"It will be you who falls old friend! I shall defeat you once more and cause the eruption of Mt.Chimney! Soon all of the world will know the greatness of Team Magma!"

Archie is silent for a bit before he begins chuckling. His chuckle soon turns to a quiet laugh before erupting into full on guffaws.
"AHAHAHA Is that what this is about to you?! Glory?!"
Archie looks back at the group.
"I have much greater things in mind for Aqua. Simply activating a volcano is beneath us. Although it will get your goons hired for merc work."

Maxie is a bit taken back.
"You think of Magma as a simple merc group? Nonsense, I've retired from that field. You think I'm erupting the volcano to get our names out? HAHA you are a fool."

"Then you really are after..." Archie murmurs.

"Soon the volcano will erupt, distracting all of Hoenn while we search for the ancient cave of Groudon!" Maxie crosses his arms triumphantly.

Shelly had flown in alongside Archie. She wasn't going to fail her Leader when he needed her the most. Besides, she was most likely needed to power the meteorite machine once they were done dealing with Magma. She had no doubt in her mind that they would win.

Maddy frowned.
"So, Archie was correct. He does plan on erupting the volcano."
She drew a ball from her belt.
"Everyone fight two Team Magma grunts. They should all have at least one or two Pokemon, basic or 1st-stage."
She turned to Archie. "Good luck with Maxie."
She gave everyone one last look.
"Remember, these guys prefer Fire- and Ground-type Pokemons. Plan your attacks accordingly."
With that, she ran forward to fight some grunts.

Cody grasped a pokeball tightly in his hands. Not only were his pokemon fully healed, but they were ready for a fight. A hooded figure approached the boy, coming from a confident position next to Maxie. "You must be his right hand," the boy assumed.
"Well, you certainly wouldn't be wrong," the minion chuckled in a familiar tone.
"You... I know you!" the boy exclaimed, running up to the Magma member. He grasped the stranger's jacket tightly with one hand and ripped the hood off the red jacket completely. "You're the one I continually run into! You were at the museum, the street corner in Lilycove with those goons..."
The Magma grunt had short gray hair and piercing gold eyes. He grabbed Cody's wrists and tightened his grip on the boy's pressure points, forcing him to release the grunt. "My name is Tabitha, and I am an Admin for the notorious Team Magma," the gray haired boy announced proudly. "I know what your rag-tag group of thugs is after, and I have to let you into the real world. It's not going to happen. We'll awaken Groudon, and the Pokemon World will be ours!" He started to laugh maniacally and grabbed a pokeball attached to the bandoleer he wore around his chest. "Now, get out of my way!"

Tabitha was the first to release a pokemon. A black pokeball with a dark red "M" inscribed on the top half flew into the middle of the space and exploded in a red and white light. A Mightyena stood before them and howled, its eyes flaring as it waited for what seemed to be a worthy opponent to face it. Cody threw a ball as well, releasing Lileep for some well-needed air.
Lileep appeared, stuck to the ground and frozen like a stick as it always was.
Mightyena launched itself at the Lileep, uncaring of its current status. It bared its teeth which glowed with an icy aura. It chomped down onto Lileep, crystalizing its body. The plant pokemon let out an ear-piercing shriek of pain. It was the first sound or hint of movement that Lileep had given since its resurrection. Its trainer knew for a fact that it had been broken in. Lileep grew angry, digging its roots into the ground and sucking life from the earth around it.
Mightyena jumped back as it finished its attack, returning to an attentive stance in front of its trainer. It launched itself again at the plant pokemon with claws absorbed in darkness. It slashed at Lileep furiously, but missed as the stationary pokemon dodged and weaved its head out of the way. Lileep took its opportunity while its opponent was still close to attack with Seed Bomb, spitting a giant seed into the sky above the Dark Type. As the seed pinnacled, it burst, distributing smaller seeds all over Mightyena's body, exploding as the seeds made contact with its fur. The pooch fell to the ground, scurrying back to its trainer as it felt the life being sucked from the earth once more.
Mightyena jumped up and down, building up an energy that glowed in its eyes. As it landed a final time, it blasted a wave of dark energy toward Lileep. hitting the pokemon hard. It took a good bit of damage, but started to glow, reviving itself a little while Mightyena fell to the ground, writing in pain. It was almost as if Lileep was splitting the burden of Mightyena's attack upon it. Once more, the plant pokemon started to glow as it sucked more energy from the earth.
Mightyena launched at Lileep with icy fangs once more, crunching down on it even harder. Lileep brought Mightyena to the ground once more, as if to split the pain of the attack. The wolf pokemon howled, bringing a new found power and determination to its stance and gaze. The look was short-lived as Lileep summoned a ball of green energy from its petals. The ball grew to be enormous. As the ball reached its maximum size, it was released and launched in Mightyena's direction. The pup could do nothing but stare as the ball approached. It exploded as it made contact with the Dark-type, throwing smoke and dust into the air. As it cleared, the pokemon lay unconscious on the ground. Tabitha grumbled and withdrew the dog, pulling another pokeball from the belt wrapped around his shoulder.

"This isn't over!" Tabitha screamed, throwing yet another black pokeball onto the field as the smoke cleared. "This is far from over!" A Golbat appeared on the field, flapping its wings a few times to stretch before taking off into the air. Cody responded with his own pokeball, Darumaka appearing before them. "No, Tabitha," the Aquan responded. "This is over. Golbat took to the sky, doing a small inward flip before descending upon Darumaka, gaining momentum as he grew closer. The pokemon swooped by, hitting the fire type hard with its wings. The attack was so fast, there was no dodging it. Darumaka flew into the air, bouncing around as it landed. It shook off the pain and engulfed itself in flames quickly, charging across the field and leaping into the air at Golbat. The winged pokemon started to fly away, but with a quick flip, Darumaka gained the necessary half-inch of altitude that allowed the attack to land with critical damage. The fire type fell from the sky, landing on the ground with a hard thud. The pokemon struggled to get back up, but it wasn't for nothing. Golbat winced as it flapped its wings. The pokemon had serious burns on the inside of its wings and lower body.

Golbat struggled to pull together the energy to attack once more, but landed a solid hit with its wings, knocking Darumaka out for the count. Cody gritted his teeth, knowing the war certainly hadn't been lost despite one battle. "Don't think you've won just yet," the boy snarled over to Tabitha. The Magma admin scoffed, finding himself amused with his Golbat's superiority over Darumaka.
Cody pulled another ball from his belt, releasing his playful new ghost friend, Rotom, onto the field. The orange ghost spun around in the air as it always did upon its release, and came to attention in front of its trainer.
Golbat, obviously having the speed advantage in this situation, ascended once more, making a broad turn in the sky, and descending upon its opponent, teeth dripping with poison. As it got close, it sunk its fangs into Rotom, but the pokemon seemed relatively unphased, flinching only slightly before overloading the Golbat with electricity as it struggled to pull its fangs from the ghost's body, the plasma in its form collecting around Golbat's fangs to hold it in place. The flying pokemon's body illuminated and flashed as the strong surge of electricity flowed through its bones. Rotom released its foe's fangs, and Golbat dropped to the ground like a brick, K.O.'d for good.

Tabitha pulled his pokemon from the field once more. "This isn't the last you'll see of me," he shouted, pulling a small object from his pocket. "Remember this face - for the next time you see it, it'll be burying you and your pokemon alive." He threw the small object onto the ground at his feet, and it exploded in a large plume of smoke.
Cody closed his eyes and covered his mouth, but couldn't help inhaling some of the smoke. He coughed until his eyes watered, and when he finally recovered and was able to open his eyes, Tabitha and the rest of Team Magma had vanished. The boy returned to his team as they finished up their battles, Tabitha's words sitting just as heavy as when he had learned of Archie's plans.

While all this battling was going on, Shelly sneaked over to the meteorite machine and began her work on deactivating it.

Maddy sent out Axew to face her first opponents Sandile.
"X-Scissor!"
Axew's Attack O-Power activated and he rushed forward, hitting Sandile hard. The crocodile Pokemon was already quite weak to Bug-Type moves, but Axew's upped Attack power made the move impossible to survive. Foe number one was down for the counting.
Out next was a Baltoy. Maddy decided to let Axew fight.
"X-Scissor again."
It was yet another OHKO! Axew's training was really paying off. Maddy's first opponent was defeated. She recalled Axew so he could have a break, not that he really broke a sweat battling just now.

The next opponent started with a Fennekin. Maddy let out her Houndour.
Fennekin rushed forward and scratched at Houndour with it's sharp, little claws.
"Bite!"
Houndour bit down hard on Fennekin's arm, shaking violently and then letting go, sending the fox flying into a nearby rock. The Pokemon wasn't about to back down now though, it retaliated with Toxic. There was no damage dealt initially, but Houndour's body shuddered as the illness began to overcome him.
"Howl!"
Houndour howled loudly, raising his spirit and raising his Attack power.
"Feint Attack!" Maddy decided to finish off the Fennekin with a priority move.
Houndour whimpered pitifully, drawing the Fennekin closer from sympathy. As Fennekin stepped too close Houndour lashed out and attacked, dealing a powerful blow. Fennekin was knocked out, and Houndour's body was once again ravaged by the poison.

Maddy recalled Houndour for Pikachu as their opponent released a Fletchling.
Maddy smirked. "Not bad. I just caught the stronger version of that one."
Fletchling flew in with a Quick Attack, slamming into Pikachu hard. Pikachu's Static ability activated, crippling the little bird with paralysis.
"Thunderbolt!"
The lightning mouse's red cheeks sparked erratically as it unleashed a powerful current of electricity, shocking Fletchling. The sparrow tried to get up and attack again at it's trainer's command, but the paralysis wracked it's petite body.
"Iron Tail!"
The lightning bolt appendage that stuck out from Pikachu's rear end shone with a metallic sheen. Pikachu jumped forward, cartwheeling through the air and ending the motion by having it's hardened tail slam down on Fletchling, full force.
With that, Maddy was finished her battle. She waited for the others.

Dark finds the unknown person he had encountered before in the mix.
"So, we meet again eh, Dark."
The man is dressed in a Magma uniform but has the hood up, hiding his face except for his piercing red eyes.
"So it is you..." Dark frowns and reaches for a Pokeball. "I'll have to silence you here then."
"Hahaha to be so hard on an old friend. You really have changed." The man grins and grabs a Pokeball. "Let's at least see if you've gotten stronger!"

"This ends here Maxie! I won't let you revive Groudon!"
Archie throws a Pokeball and a Gyarados appears with a roar.
"I'm not asking for your permission Archie! I will revive Groudon and that treasure will all belong to Magma!"
Maxie throws a Pokeball and a Volcarona appears.
Archie orders a Dragon Dance while Maxie calls out 'Wild Charge'.
The Volcarona sparks and tackles Gyarados, dealing some hefty damage. Gyarados boosts its attack and speed and Volcarona takes recoil damage.
Archie and Maxie call out attacks. Gyarados slams its tail into Volcarona like a Waterfall and knocks the Pokemon out. Maxie snarls and sends out Manetric.
Archie orders and Earthquake but Maxie's Manetric is still a bit faster. It lets off a Shock Wave that KO's Gyarados.
Archie smirks and sends out his Empoleon.
Manetic lets out a Thunderbolt while Empoleon uses Agility. Empoleon takes a decent hit. The turn is reenacted only now Empoleon munches down on its Petaya Berry, raising it's Special Attack by two stages.
Empoleon lets out a Surf, boosted by the berry and it's Torrent ability and wipes out Manetric.
"Tell me Maxie, what is your plan now?" Archie boasts.
Maxie growls, a bit of panic showing in his eyes. He sends out a Torterra.
Archie laughs and commands his Pokemon to Ice Beam. Being faster than Torterra, it attacks first and strikes the Pokemon with a 4x weakness attack. Torterra goes down. The same thing happens to Maxie's Shiftry.
Next his Houndoom and Chandelure are taken out by a Surf.

"How could this happen?!" Archie roars.
"After our last battle I realized I'd have to step up my game... Don't you see Maxie? You can't defeat us."

Maxie glares at the Aqua members. "I see... This is why you picked amateurs for your front. So much potential with so little corruption..." He runs a hand through his hair and laughs. "So we're even now Archie. Don't think you'll win the next time." Maxie glances over at Dark and his opponent.

"Volcarona, Hidden Power!" Dark orders.
The Volcarona lets out a cloud of frost and blasts a Tyrunt with Ice.
"What?! No, impossible!" The cloaked figure screams, his last Pokemon going down.

"Alright Magma, we retreat for now! Today we lose the battle, but we shall win this war!" Maxie watches his grunts prepare to leave. "That gold will be ours. At the end of this, you'll be living in a gutter."
A cloud of smog and haze rolls in for a few minutes. After is clears all the magma members have vanished, leaving the Aquans by themselves.
PostPosted: Sun Jan 12, 2014 9:21 pm

Allen watched the two leaders verbally duke it out, "Groudon..." He remembered that being mentioned by Dark a long time ago. Maddy's command pulled him out of his trance, "Right!" He nodded, tossing Frogadier's Pokeball into the air. The two charged forward into the fray, an opposing Magma Grunt already had a Lampent out and firing Will-o-Wisps at all of Team Aqua's Pokemon. "Not today!" Allen called, "Frogadier, Water Pulse! Take out those wisps!" Frogadier nodded blasting a forceful shot of compressed water, putting out the wisps before they had a chance to hurt is teammates. "Now! Surf!"

The shiny frog nodded summoning a large wave of water from underground. The wave washed over the enemy Lampent, causing grave damage. The grunt across the field snorted, calling for a Shadow Ball. The negative Ghost type energy gathered between Lampent's arm like appendages and surged forward, leaving long streaks of colored energy to wisp away. The attack collided with Frogadier's chest, hurting terribly. "Wrap it up with Hydro Pump!!" Allen called, wanted to end this thing quickly before it had the chance to hurt. The Massive water attack gushed from Frogadier's mouth, blasting Lampent and smashing it against a tall rock. The grunt recalled his Pokemon tossing another ball forth, revealing a Baltoy. "Frogadier, come back!" He pulled another Pokeball, letting loose Banette. Her physique showing off the fact she punched a tree. "Banette use Shadow Sneak!" She nodded, ducking into her shadow to zoom across the field and strike the opponent. After the hit, Baltoy was barely standing, fading in and out of consciousness, it misheard it's trainer and used Rapid Spin instead of Power Split. It spun rapidly, diving right through Banette, who knocked the poor thing out with a Faint Attack.

Allen charged in further, calling for Frogadier to use another Surf to sweep a horde of Grunts to the side. One of the group was smart enough to dive through the wave and roll out of it, tossing a Pokeball once he was steady enough. A Monferno hit the field, screeching at Allen and his Pokemon, "Banette!" Allen called her forward. As she zoomed out on the field, the grunt yelled a command and Monferno erupted into flames, flying across the field and smashing into Banette like a freight train. "BANETTE!" Allen cried, And she was down and out. He returned her, "Frogadier! Use Surf again!" He called to the other Pokemon that was out. Though he was hurt, he would definitely be faster. Again, a wave spouted from the mountain, catching the Monferno in it's grip to tumble the poor thing in a watery tube. As the water drained away, the Monferno was left panting on the ground. The Flare Blitz having brought its HP far down in the first place. The man tossed another Pokeball into the air, revealing a massive metal snake in Steelix. "Frogadier, come back. Heracross with handle this!" Frogadier leaped back out of the way, leaving plenty of room for Heracross on the field. He landed gracefully, in front of the giant Steelix, "Heracross! Close Combat!" He called for Heracross' strongest attack yet, a super effective one at that, Allen was positive Steelix would go down from the hit. A flurry of punches and kicks from Heracross quickly connected all over Steelix's bodym bringing it down to extremely low health, somehow, though, it held on. Allen's mouth hung open, "But... how."
The grunt chuckled and mouthed the word, "Sturdy." Then he called for his Pokemon to use Stone Edge. Steelix smashed it's heavy tail down on the ground, shooting sharp stones and various minerals up beneath Hearcross' feet. The attack connected, hurting Heracross, and bringing him down to an extremely low range of health as well. Allen breathed heavily, that mixed with the heat made him a little dizzy, he shook it from his head, though the haziness was still hanging around, "Heracross, Reversal!" Thanks to the low HP, The attack connected with a single punch, but had enough power to send Steelix soaring high into the air and come crashing down, almost crushing it's trainer. Allen huffed. watching the grunt retreat.

Having fully healed his Pokemon thanks to the bags hanging around, Thorn found himself listening intently to Magma's plans. Erupting volcanoes and awakening legends... all and all, he had to wonder if he and Rosie hadn't joined the wrong team. These folks seemed to have their minds set on something higher, ridiculous and grandiose as that might be. Still new to the group, he didn't quite feel the same investment as some of the older members might. This was a fight, and as far as he was concerned, this wasn't his war-- he was simply a hired hand.

Which meant he wasn't facing down some upper admin, and instead just facing a nameless grunt. Much like himself, really only this guy was wearing red and dressed like a mildly insane fetish cultist. Well, whatever made them happy, he supposed. He met the other boy's eyes, and gave a slight shrug, as if to say 'let's get on with it'.

His opponent, clearly more enthused, gave a wide grin. "Tepig, go!" The tiny, perky, self-cooking bacon bounced up and down in front of them, small puffs of smoke coming from his nose.

Briefly, he contemplated a battle of pork, but seeing as he hadn't been able to find a Burn Heal in that bad, he figured Lulu could use a break. But he had been able to heal his Feebas... "Selkie!" The brown-gray fish flopped a bit, sweating somewhat in the heat.

"Ember!"

"Scald!"

While the little spark did land on Selkie, singing her dull scales, it wasn't any comparison to the Feebas's blast of super-heated water. Still perky, the Tepig bounced back up, and gave a loud burp. Purple smog poured out of it's mouth, floating closer and closer towards Selkie.

The Feebas jsut barely rolled out of the way, avoid the Smog attack so that it bounced harmlessly off a way. A quick order of "Brine!" for her trainer, and Selkie shot off another blast of water (this one slightly cooler and less powerful). Still, it did the trick, and the Tepig was down.

Apparently only having one Pokemon, the grunt inclined his head in defeat, and left. Another one stepped up to take his place, a female this time. "Go, Ponya!" The tall, lanky flaming equine pranced in place, clearly eager.

"Scald!"

"Bounce!"

Though Selkie's blast was no less powerful, it would miss as the Ponyta launched herself in the air. Thorn gritted his teeth, knowing what was coming. "Brine when she comes back down!"

Brine? But-- ooph! The Ponyta landed hard on the Feebas, knocking the wind right out of her, and down to past half health. Furious, Selkie suddenly clicked to the plan, and sent a burst of freezing-cold ice water right at the Ponyta. Between her own pain and fury and the general weakness, the Ponyta was sent flying backwards, into a crumpled heap.

The two trainers shifted Pokemon, each recalling an injured or downed teammate. The Magma grunt summoned a Gligar, which bounced happily in front of him.

Tilting his head, Thorn called out his newest acquistion, the battle-happy Sneasel. He sharpened his claws, grinning.

"Sand-Attack!"

"Metal Claw!"

The sand hit Robin right in the eyes as he lunged forward, knocked him off course and sending him crashing into a wall. The Gligar celebrated, bounding around the area. Still angry, the Sneasel shook himself off, awaiting orders.

"Ice Punch."

Um, Poison Sting!"

The Sneasel rushed forward once again, taking the poisonous hit. The poison coursed through his veins, but he wasn't interested in stopping now! With a fury, he landed the frozen punch... and give the Gligar's quad weakness, it knocked him down properly.

His battles dealt with, he stood back and watched as Magma stattered, Aqua neither triumphant nor completely vanquished.

"Alright everyone, good job." Archie announces and looks over at Shelly. "And I see you've dealt with the meteorite." He nods, seeing the rock in her hand.

"So are you going to tell the rest of the group why we're doing this? What our goals are?" Dark asks, crossing his arms. His Pokemon were worn out now from the mission and he was sort of eager to get back. He had a lot of training and planning to do.

"You think it's a good idea? I'm not sure if I can trust them completely yet.... Hmm.." Archie crosses his arms and grins. "I have an idea. I'll set up a real loyalty mission and when that gets done I'll reveal our goal. I doubt anyone will go against it but I don't need any rogue splinter groups."
Dark nods.
"Everyone can head back to HQ now. I'll radio ahead the rewards and have them ready for you when you get back. 2,000 PD, 2 Ultra Balls and 5 Lava Cookies. I'm gonna stay here a bit and scout the area with some grunts and see if Magma dropped anything."

Dark yawns and stretches. He then sends out his Volcarona and climbs on her back.
"Alright Lumina, lets fly back... Uhhh head east and I'll show ya where it is."
The Pokemon lifts off the ground and flies off back to HQ.

Back at HQ, Allen had gone straight to the medical center to get his Pokemon checked out, and fixed up. Heracross escaped with only a few minor scrapes and bruises, but Banette, the poor thing, she most of the front of her body suffered from some serious burns. Luckily, being a Ghost type, those would heal extremely quickly, but until further notice she had to stay confined to her Pokeball. The trainer sighed upon exiting the center, it was time for some much needed sleep. If he passed anyone on the way to his room, he would only nod to them.
