 "Your intentions were to do what exactly, then?" Kylee asked, eyeing Xaemian up and down. 'I never understood her...' She thought.Xaemian looked at Daemon, "Isn't it obvious? I saw him going to take the girl. I needed to feed before I could do anything, but I couldn't just let him take her. So... This happened." She shrugged, and looked back at Kylee, "Why? Is there a problem with that?"Lorelei rolled her eyes at Raiko. She said, "It was a horrible joke. And you should really heal that."Mizuki tried to remember what Lorelei said happened. When she remembered what Alisseia said just before she left, she said, "Well... She said something about her coming back, and some sort of prophecy having to be fulfilled..."Kaiko looked away from Akira. She said, "Oh, uh... D-Don't worry about it." She didn't want to tell him that she was actually mad at his brother.Katsuko blinked at Akira. She said, "She's not mad about anything you did. Didn't you hear her rant?" She giggled, and looked at Sora, "I think it was what he said that sent her over the edge. She doesn't like fighting in general, so she was probably already pretty upset..." She looked at Kaiko, "You're too nice, you know. You could've said all of this yourself."Kaiko balled her hand into a fist, keeping it where no one could see it. She muttered to her sister, "Shut up."

Aaleah stood behind Kylee quietly. She was curious about Xamian's ulterior motive. She didn't understand why she helped if she was a bad guy.
"I will...when I figure out where to get some water." Raiko replied stubbornly as he crossed his arms.
Kikyo sighed. Things just got a whole lot more complicated. For the first time in many years, Kikyo muttered "I need a drink."
"Oh," Akira mumbled "He'll come around. He's just mad and scared. He doesn't understand so he's lashing out." He told them.

Kylee sighed. She said, "Why were you here?"Xaemian looked Kylee straight in the eyes, "Following orders. I hadn't a single suspicion that Daemon had gone rouge until he tried to take the girl. After all, he's been the leader of our little squad for how long now?"Lorelei chuckled. She said, "Why, the water's all around you. If you know how to gather it." She smirked."What's the prophecy she spoke of, and why must it come true? Why would she want it to come true?" Mizuki asked, ever so curious."What doesn't he understand?" Kaiko and Katsuko both asked at the same time.

Tilting her head, Aaleah wondered if this was true or just a trick. Trying to figure it out gave her a headache. Looking around Kylee, Aaleah analyzed the vampire paladin before her.Raiko just stared at Lorelei "What does that even mean!? He asked in bewilderment. "You sound like a fortune cookie.""There is no time to explain all of the details." Kikyo said "Basicallyvwhat you need to know is keep those twins safe. Shion needs three sets of twins." Kikyo ran her hand through her hair. She couldn't believe her sisters where trying to get this to happen. "One set are both boys, one set are both girls, and the last set is one boy and one girl. They will all have the same birthday, October 31st, and will be turning 13 years of age. Species, powers, and other origins are unknown, but they will all hold one element, each different. Whoever has them will become very powerful." Kikyo looked down and sighed "Why your mother wants this to happen is beyond me.""What's going on, why Kaasan and Otosan were taken from us, how we will survive now, why people are after us." Akira said slowly "He's lost, for once he doesn't have the answers to that and more. He never like the unknown and he's scared." Looking at Katsuko and Kaiko, he asked in a small voice "What will happen after this? Will this group of people allow us to stay or will we end up alone again?"

 Katsuko's gaze strayed to the ground as she began thinking about when her and Kaiko first lost their parents. She frowned. She then looked at Sora, debating whether to go over to him or not.Kaiko looked at Akira, and put her hand on his shoulder. She smiled softly. In hopes of cheering him up she said in a kind tone, "Don't worry, we'll stay with you." Seeing Katsuko out of the corner of her eye, she used her power over air to push her towards Sora.Katsuko taking a few steps before falling onto Sora's legs due to the push. She looked back at Kaiko with a quick glare. She then looked up at Sora, blushing just a bit. Unsure what to say, especially considering how she came over, said, "Uhm... H-hi..."Lorelei sighed. She said, "It's something I've been trying to teach Jayden for a while now." She looked at Jayden, "There's water in the very air you breath, you just need to learn how to gather it. Though, he first needs to learn how to draw it from plants and stuff before he can do that." She looked back at Raiko, "It's very useful to be able to gather water from the very ground you walk on in a lot of situations. So he'll have a way to always have water to use, even though he's not very skilled with it yet""You can't just tell me that stuff without telling me all of the details!" Mizuki protested. She then sighed. She said, "If you're worried about Shion already knowing about mother being alive and them teaming up together, then don't. She didn't want anyone to know who she was, or that she was alive. I'm sure you could ask Maia to be sure." A bit of bitterness showed in her tone at the last sentence.Kylee eyed Xaemian up and down. She closed her eyes, and sighed. Shaking her head, she said, "I've never been able to figure you out. If you're telling the truth, then tell it to Kikyo." She went over to Daemon. Kneeling down she carefully picked him up and slung him over her shoulder. She said, "Lets go."Xaemian nodded at Kylee. She said, "Where is she?"Maia sighed at Xaemian. She said, "Just follow me." She started walking back towards the group.

Akira smiled a bit at Kaiko "Thanks, I always wanted another sibling." He joked lightly, glad that he and his brother wouldn't be alone after this. He was really grateful to Kaiako and Katsuko for listening.
Looking down at the blonde in his lap, Sora blinked a few times "Uh, hi?" he said slowly "Uh, are you ok?"
Hearing his name, Jayden looked up and turned in the direction it came from. He saw Lorelei looking at him and glared as she turned back to Raiko. Scoffing, he turned his head back around to watch the trees.
"Thats cool." Raiko said "I thought that was a lie, you know, being able to use water like that." he grinned "If he can do that, its pretty awesome."
"Worried? About them teaming up? Not a chance." Kikyo scoffed "More like Shion capturing Alisseia or why Alisseia wants the prophecy to come true."
Since Kylee's hands were full, quite literally, Aaleah quickly went over to Maia and latched onto her hand. She didn't trust the vampire like they did, so she made sure to hold on to someone, just in case.

Katsuko quickly pushed herself up into a sitting position. She said lowly, "Er... Sorry..." Looking at the ground, she started messing with the grass. She was unsure what to say. She glanced at Kaiko for a second, knowing why she pushed her over here. After a few minutes, she muttered, "I know what it's like..."Kaiko giggled, "Me too!" She cheered."Typical of you to think that way of her." Mizuki stated bitterly. She went right in front of Kikyo. Looking up towards her face, she said,"Shion and her were practically even matched before. She probably couldn't of captured her then even if she wanted to. What makes you think that Shion could capture her now?" She shook her head, "It'd make more sense if she captured Shion. She's had years to train her powers without anyone interrupting her. As well as get new powers."Lorelei looked up at the sky. She said, "And I thought healing with fire was a lie. As well as white fire. But you're alive and well, aren't you? Well, besides the cut on your leg."Kylee followed behind, fully able to do something if Xaemian tried something.

Sora stiffened real fast before relaxing again. "What are you talking about this time?" he asked like she was insane. Wincing at how terrible that sounded, Sora sighed. "Yeah, well, I'll figure it out...some how."
Clapping Akira got a devilish look on his face "Now that we're brother and sister, we have to work together to annoy Katsuko and Sora. We have to be the model younger siblings." At his word, he nodded as if it were a law that he agrees upon. "You with me?"
"I can not argue with that." Kikyo looked at Mizuki and nodded her head slightly "I just think Alisseia would get captured to hide her true powers if the situation called for it, and Shion, as always, would play dirty. I already knew my sisters were the strongest of us three, its their tactics and strategies that you have to worry about."
"Yeah." Raiko nodded as he stood on one leg "I'm going to try and find that water, see if I can take care of this leg." he stood on one leg, the other barley touching the ground

Maia looked around as they got to the group. She said, "Where'd she go?"Kylee listened to the voices around. When she heard Kikyo and Mizuki's voice, she pointed to where they are. She said, "That way."Mizuki shrugged, "If you want to look into that, you should probably ask Maia some questions. She seems to know quite a lot about it." She stated in a slightly bitter tone. She pointed towards where everyone else is, "We've got company." She warned.Lorelei looked at Raiko, "You shouldn't walk on that. It's pretty bad, you know. I saw it earlier." She warned with a sly, devilish smirk.Kaiko giggled whilst nodding. She said loudly, "Yeah!" She then added in a normal tone, "On one condition!"Katsuko smiled softly, "I never did." She said in a low, soft tone.

"Maybe, in due time." Kikyo smiled before clearing her face and looking towards where Mizuki pointed.
Raiko nodded "I agree with. Which is why I'm not going to walk, I'm going to hop, maybe even crawl." he shrugged slowly noticing Lorelei's smirk. "W-why ya smiling like that?" he asked with a tiny stutter. It was a bit freaky how she just randomly smiled so, so evilly.
"Whats that?" Akira asked turning fully to face Kaiko with a large grin, so he could start planning pranks to pull.
"Well I have to!" Sora almost yelled. You could hear how much desperation he put into it when he said he had to. "I promised them," he whispered closing his eyes tightly, remembering his parents voice and hearing them as if they were right there, "I promised to take care of him. I can't do that if I don't have a plan." Opening his eyes, Sora looked at Katsuko. He looked defeated and unsure "Aki can't know." he whispered looking back to see his brother smiling at Kaiko "I don't want him to lose that happiness, he can't lose it. Its the only thing I have that makes me work harder, his happiness."

Maia waved at Kikyo, walking towards her. She said, "We found something. Well, two things. Big ones."Xaemian followed right behind Maia. She looked at Kikyo with a cold dead stare and an empty expression, as she always does.Kylee followed behind Xaemian, carrying Daemon over her shoulder. She looked at Kikyo, and said, "I've never been a good judge of Xaemian's character, so I figured I'd bring her to you."Lorelei smirked even more. She said in a mischievous tone, "I saw the wound when I was attempting to manipulate my emotions. Hence why I didn't react or say anything."Kaiko smirked. Simultaneously, she tackled Akira and said, "I get to do this!" When her hair touches his skin, he'd know that it's back to normal.Katsuko nodded at Sora. She looked at Kaiko, and said lowly with a soft smile, "She still has that same smile and playful personality..." She closed her eyes, and shook her head. She looked up at the sky. Her smile faded away. Her expression now dead serious as she thought about the day her house caught on fire. She whispered, "I made a similar promise, almost 6 years ago. On our birthday. We were out late celebrating as we did every year. When we got home Kaiko went to sleep as soon as she got to her bed. She didn't even change. I couldn't fall asleep. So I got up to go get a snack. I ended up seeing something I wasn't suppose to see..." She closed her eyes tightly, cursing herself for remembering exactly what happened that day.

When they got over to Kikyo, Aaleah let go of Maia's hand and ran off. She didn't want to stay near the two weird Paladins. As she ran, She went past Raiko and was about to pass Lorelei to go over to Jayden. If Lorelei didn't stop her, then she would be by her brother.
Seeing Daemon's unconscious form, Kikyo raised and eyebrow and looked at Xaemion. "I'll will talk to you momentarily." Looking at Kylee, she asked for a report on what happened.
Raiko blushed a bright red "Y-yeah w-well." stuttering, Raiko looked away from Lorelei's face, unable to look her in the eyes now.
Surprised at the tackle, Akira let out a yelp and started laughing as he tried to one up Kaiko. "No you don't!" he laughed trying to push her, now normal hair, from in his face.
Sora looked at Katsuko as he heard her story. When she stopped, he reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder "You don't have to." he muttered, knowing this must be a hard story memory to relive.

Lorelei stared at Raiko with an evil glare. She said, "Turtles? Blowing bubbles?" She held back laughter.Mizuki walked away from the paladins, figuring they have some important matters to discuss. She went back over to the group. She heard Lorelei, and got ever so curious. She went over to Lorelei and put her head on hers. She asked, "What about turtles blowing bubbles?"Kylee explained to Kikyo almost exactly what happened. The only thing she left out was anything that would give away that Xaemian's a vampire.Kaiko shook her head all about, getting her hair in Akira's face even more.Katsuko sighed, and shook her head. She whispered, continuing the story, "I saw a woman with my parents. They were having an argument. The woman said something about a prophecy. I couldn't quite make out what she said, but she wanted me and Kaiko. Apparently all the adults know of some prophecy... My parents refused no matter what she offered them... That's when it escalated. The woman stuck her hands into their chests. It looked like she was grabbing their hearts... That's when I rushed in. I called out their names, and the woman let go of them. She threw a large fireball, and set the room on fire. That's when I got a good look at her. The way I remember it she looked like some kind of she-devil... She then disappeared. I don't know where she went. I ran over to my parents, she'd already fatally injured them before I interrupted... I heard our mother say to take care of my sister, and a few other things that I couldn't quite understand. My father said something too. I don't remember what it was though..." She looked at the ground, "I didn't have time to grieve, the fire had already spread throughout a lot of the house. I knew Kaiko was fast asleep, and I had to go wake her up. It took far too long for her to get up, cause she was exhausted. She didn't even know what was going on at first. Until I dragged her out of the room, that is. The way out was blocked off with fire. I looked around for a way out. I saw the only way was out the window that had been stuck for years. So I dragged her over to the window, she was clinging on to me screaming at that point. I tried to open the window with all my might, but I couldn't. As I saw the fire closing in on us, my hair hardened to be as hard as my scales are for the first time. I didn't have time to wonder how and why. I used my hair to break open the window. I grabbed Kaiko and jumped out the window. I was surprised we were still alive when we hit the ground, we were so high up. As we looked back at our home it was engulfed with flames. Kaiko was terrified. She asked me where our parents were, and I couldn't bring myself to tell her what happened. So I just said I don't know, and I just woke up when I started waking her up. That's when she thanked me for saving her first. She asked me if I'll be always be there to protect her. I responded to her saying that I promise." She looked at Sora, "I had no idea how I was going to fulfill that promise though. I didn't even know where to begin. But... It's been almost six years since that day, and here we are...."

Raiko couldn't form any words as his face turned a bright red. He didn't think he would ever regain his normal color again. "Nothing!" Raiko shouted when Mizuki came over asking about it. Looking at Lorelei, he was silently begging her to be quiet. At this point he'd do anything to keep his cruch from finding out about his boxers.
Kikyo nodded and looked at Xaemian "Can you tell us what Daemon said to you to make you follow him?" she asked, not wanting to brand her until she heard her side of the story.
Akira was laughing as he played with Kaiko "Stop! Your hair is in the way." he giggled "Thats cheating!"
Sora gazed out to the path before him. "I'm sorry. That's hard." he whispered. He didn't think his story was that bad and here he was upset about not having a plan. Looking at Katsuko he looked down wondering if he should tell his story, not sure if she'd care or not.
