They did not like me, he frowned. And my father would not let me. Naoki sighed rather exasperatedly before shaking his head. But now I can't see anyone so I don't know what they are doing. The boy went over the other's words in his head again. Movies? Like what?

"Oh, anything," Lilly said, his eyes lighting up. He absolutely loved movies. "I really like scary movies, but i'll watch anything. I'm a product of American culture, i guess- lazy and easily amused. I just saw American History X, and that was really fantastic. Ohhh, and i've just begun playing this video game called Resident Evil 4. It's soooo scary and hard!"

Resident Evil! the boy exclaimed. The title was indeed familiar to him, as his brothers always mentioned something with the same title. Naoki leaned forward and smiled innocently to the other. Is it really scary?

"Oh yes, very much!" Lilly shivered dramatically for effect. "There are these things called 'Regenerators,' and... ugh! But it's so much fun, really, finely crafted and quite engaging. Would you ever be interested in giving it a try?"

I would, the boy nodded, resting his arms on the table, still leaning toward the other. Especially if it's scary... Naoki sighed almost dreamily. It's a game only? I thought I had heard about it at cinemas?

"There is a new movie coming out, the third of the series, i believe. I've only seen bits and pieces of the first two. Have you seen them?" Lilly raised a pinky to his mouth and started gnawing delicately at the nail.

Jordiar tightened his grip on the hem of his shirt, until his knuckles were white, as he looked around, walking slowly and soundlessly into the mall. But Raye told him he needed to get out more - this seemed like a nice enough place to 'get out' to.
Besides, there was always the chance he'd find something to buy...

The mall was terribly empty, though all of the stores within remained open. It didn't surprise Hotari much, it seemed as though not many resided in the Underground any longer. With a hidden pocket full of bills the girl made her way from one end of the first floor to the other with intention of buying anything and everything she could, though her form pausing as she spotted a familiar face. "Hey," she called out, letting her steps easily fall back into the slow, sauntering pace she'd kept before catching sight of the boy. "Long time no see, Jordi!"

Jordiar jumped and spun around, basically squeaking in surprise as he faced Hotari. After a moment he visible relaxed. "Oh, Hotari, it's you." He offered a shy smile as he let out a shaky breath. "Sorry, I'm still adjusting here...I went to my home realm for awhile. It...It feels weird to wear so much clothing again." He looked down at this sleeves, then to Hotari. "How have you been?"

Hotari couldn't help but giggle over Jordiar's startled reaction to her voice. She smiled brightly to him though, warmly, and nodded in understanding as he spoke. "I've been good!" she chimed, offering her arms out in request for a hug from the other. "I went home too...It's warmer in my home realm, but I like the slight chill this places has at this time of the year. How have you been, Jordi? And are you going to be here long again?" Her apple eyes glittered as she looked over him, he was still just as cute as she remembered!

"I've been okay," Jordi said. He stared at her arms for a moment before it clicked in his mind, and he moved in for a quick hug. "Home is usually cool where I live...So I don't mind this too much." He smiled, blushing a little. "I got to see my dad. I don't think I'll be going back for awhile..." He laughed, a bit shakily. "It was a bit too much."

"Ooh.." she offered before smiling after the boy again. "Well, if you'll be here, you'll have me to talk to! Because I'm probably going to be around a bit. A few of my siblings have come back here too." She giggled as she shifted to his side, subtly ushering him along to walk with her as she continued to remind herself which stores the first floor offered. "So...Did things not go well with your father, then?" A faint blush graced her features as she asked this.

"Of course! And..." Jordi looked down at his shoes as they walked. "Things rarely go well with father. It's because I'm the...weak son." He smiled, though it looked a bit forced. "Because I took after mother, and not father, see. So I'm just a lesser...thing." He reached up and wrapped his fingers around the vial of water on the necklace around his neck. It glowed for a moment, and he sighed.

Hotari frowned slightly as she watched after Jordi, but smiled as she shifted closer to him, her arm snaking around his shoulders to bring him into a hug. "I think you're the best, Jordi. I'm sorry things didn't go well, and I'm sorry to say, but your father's a fool if he can't see how strong you are." She smiled still, but shyly let her eyes fall over the shop windows instead of letting them remain on the boy.
