So much for said priestess having second thoughts, ditching the kid, and coming back to him. "Yes, both came through here, and they both refused my generous hospitality to steal a ship and head who knows where. You have some business with them I take it?"((And apparently orange is the color of evil. Which means Milly may have had some dastardly plot.  ))

"Yes. I believe I might know them and I wanted to see if they are who I think they might be." Marianne replied with a serious expression. "If you don't know, however, I'm also looking for certain...clientelle if you catch my drift." she then went on to say, the lusty harlot wondering if this seemingly rich man would be interested in her 'services'.

Marianne guasped lightly in surprise as Jaquel swept her off of her feet, however, her surprise was short-lived. Instead, she clung close to Jaquel so that she'd be less likely to fall as she admired the earth below them.

Just as the trio had gotten back on their way and in good spirits again after the five second stint with a fifty foot demon, Van stopped suddenly. "Oh, fffffffffffudgeballs...." There was a demon headed their way, and it wasn't Gage. Which really only left one candidate.
"I see you found your way out of the brat, Mr. Thief God!" Jaquel said as he descended to touch down some feet in front of the group. "I hope you don't mind but I brought a guest. She seemed eager to meet your friends, so I thought I'd bring her along."

Marianne grinned broadly and waved at Riley and Mala. "Riley! Mala! Darlings, it's been such a long time since we've last seen each other~" she said in a sing-song voice. "My, how you two have grown!" Fortunately for Riley, he would be too young to reccognise her face.
Mala facepalmed. "Of all people, why the pervert and the harlot?!" she complained miserably. "Marianne, you've long since worn out your welcome around me. Please go die in a hole and leave us in peace!"
