Lady Mist  Of course that would have happened while she was talking to an overly observant healer. She sighed and was about to decline the water, but then figured it might help calm her down, "Thanks." Lumina tipped it back for a few seconds, then twisted the cap back on and handed it back, ready to throw herself into the conversation with renewed vigor.
"I'm fine." She waved her hand as if to disregard it, "That's pretty cool though, taking him in. He seems pretty reliable." Lumina said, watching him with interest, "Think you'll be aiming for more pokemon on the trip?"
"My aim has never been very good," he teased, gesturing at his lack of pokemon, "And I'm a slow-poke. All these fast trainers, snapping up the pokemon before I even notice what's going on!" Ok, so that was only partially true. Although the healer was, as all healer should be, concerned about the safety of pokemon, Liam tended to be lazy at times, as well as easily distracted by things that were more interesting at the time. Conversations, for instance. As he was talking, there was a flash of brown in the corner of his eye, and by the time he had finished his sentence he noticed just the hint of a tail as it disappeared into the brush.
"Looks like we're getting close..."
EDIT (since I took the question away, lulz)
Watching the girl scribble in her notebook, Liam grinned, waiting until she was finished before asking another question. "Do you have any pokemon yourself?"

"Ugh..." She blinked. The group's pokemon all had purple bands on them in spots...She looked down at the similar one lashed to her tauros' horn. Aha! The right group! "Ahh...Sorry I got lost...I hope no one was worried..." She nudged the cow in line with the others. "Tauros here wanted a lunch break."

His rented Ponyta easily responded to his urging and galloped to catch up with the group. He noticed everyone seemed particularly alert, as though they were looking for something. "Did we miss anything?" he asked.

Rhi: Carter's head whipped about as something small darted across the path, he fumbled in his bag to pull out a pokeball just as Rhi pulled out her camera. And then in a blink of an eye it was gone. Mouth agape, he quirked his head to the side. "Didja get it?" He certainly had missed it.
Oh well, so much for being nonchalant about this whole ordeal, maybe he was just as excited as the other trainers to catch one of the elusive pokemon. "Man, we must be getting close for sure. And if they're right there are plenty more furballs where that one came from."
Suddenly rather cheerful he straightened up in his seat once more, tucking the pokeball into it's belt where it was more easily accessible. "Well she's lovely. Hah thanks, I don't think even a healer would be able to tame his spirit." The Tauros snorted, and whipped it's head about moodily.
"So this trip has been somewhat tame compared to the last caravan ride...I have a feeling there's gotta be a catch to this whole fantasy."

With that final parting out of the way, Oyumi urged Lynne off. The Ponyta was quick to speed after the rest of his group, galloping with the speed his species was famous for. Soon enough, the two rejoined their group. She turned to the closest person with a grin.
"Did I miss anything?"

Kiyo hopped onto Claret's back and with some cajoling and some more Pokeblocks he finally persuaded the female Ponyta to trot off to the next destination. As they moved along Kiyo began to feel bored. Picturesque scenery and what not could only keep you entertained for so long. So, he took off his silk top hat and began to rummage inside. His face lit up when his hand felt was he was looking for. He drew out a pack of cards and began to shuffle them in all sorts of manners. "Let's play cards, Claret!" The Ponyta snorted and continued trotting along. "I'll take that as a no then..." He looked around and wondered if anyone else would like to play.

While the two skuffle, Kohl encourages her Arcanine companion to heat a cup of instant ramen. Grudgingly he blows a tiny tongue of flame. The styrofoam melts. She growls at him, but he appears unrepentant - amused even. "Arg, no breakfast, then. C'mon, move out!" She climbs onto her mount, considering the potential hazards of trying that again - this time while riding Taka.

Rachel grinned and pat Rei on the neck. "Shall we then?" she asked and the ponyta, just as eager to go as Lynne, started to walk after the group. ~Lets go!~ Rei nickered at the other ponyta's then started to run after Danny;s ponyta.

Jypsum stuck out her tongue back. "You wish!" she yelled as she ran back over to where Odette was.
"Had enough to eat?" she asked the Onix, giving her a pat on the head. "I guess it's time to get moving."
"Ooon." Odette responded, and laid down to let Jypsum to get on.

Psywater quickly became bored with flying again, even though they were closer to the ground than before. Lizzie could tell that he was going to try something again, and held onto his neck feathers just in case. Luckily, all he seemed interested in doing was to check out some of the other Pokemon. He started hovering around a trainer's Ponyta, which he spooked during his last dive.
Lizzie almost gave up in trying to control him. She pulled at the feathers so that he wouldn't be so close to the Pokemon. "Sorry about that." She called out to the trainer.

On this second day of travel, Roddy the ponyta seemed much more comfortable with the luxio pacing along beside him. It was Peanut giving an odd murr that was the first notice of the eevee sighting. "Aww how cute. And such a good sign," Tygress commented. She noticed some reaching for pokeballs but it was gone too quickly for anyone to let fly. She politely requested her ponyta to slow down so she could get her camera out and settled on her neck; getting pictures at the moment was more important that catching another pokemon. Still she'd love another eevee. "I may acctually look into evolving one if I were to have two on the team," she murmured wishfully.
Peanut observed her trainer and laughed at she took out her camera. As if she'll acctually use it first... She's awefully pokeball happy for a watcher when it comes to trips like this.
You can say that and laugh, yet you remain with her? Roddy asked, the rental pokemon clearly confused by the luxio's attitide.
We're partners. I chose her not the other way around, that's why I'm free of one of those silly pokeballs myself.
Roddy shook his head still confused. To each their own I suppose. he remarked philosophically.

Tyg waved to the ponyta rider and tauros rider who had just rejoined the group. She laughed, "I guess that's one side to rental pokemon, we have to learn their quirks as we go."

Notebook at hand, Lumina's pen was practically flying off the page, worried she might miss anything more. She would have been proud of herself had she bothered to realize she was riding without holding onto the reigns, "Oh this is thrilling!" The watcher nearly bubbled over, "It'll be a wonder to see so many at once after having never seen one in person before."
She shook her head, "I don't, actually. I'm looking for one to help me out in the wild. Perhaps even an eevee." Lumina grinned again.

"Thank you," she said in reply to the compliment to Aimee. The Buneary tilted her head at Carter, one tufted ear flopping down and one staying up.
"I'm wondering what the reason behind the sudden Eevee swarm was myself. It isn't normal, that's for sure, so something must have brought them into the open." She eyed the spot the Eevee had vanished through as they went by it. "Although that Eevee didn't seem distraught at all. Maybe it's just a sudden wave of Eevee breeding? Either way you know they'll be gone in weeks, if not back into the wild then into trainers' Pokeballs."
A question drew her attention and she smiled at the other girl. "An Eevee, if you didn't see it. Otherwise, things have been quiet. I'm Rhia." She offered a hand to the other traveler.

"Bandit!" Lisa commanded, "get on my head and play look out. If you see anything that might be an eevee, give me a quick shock, ok?" Bandit nodded and scampered up onto Lisa's head, although he was more concentrated on the larger flying pokemon above than anything else. Lisa was excited, and it was the kind of excitement that might be contagious. "I can't wait. I've always wanted another Eevee, ever since our family pet was... Anyway, have any plans after you catch yours, Flint? And hello there!" Lisa waved to the other trainer beside her, "Sorry I didn't much earlier. I was distracted. My name's Lisa!"
