Yeah, I forgot there were other holidays too (bows profusely to those who celebrate Hannakuh, Kwanzaa, etc)
Event: I like it, I just don't have any suggestions that could fit it...unless we name it Holiday Carnivale sweatdrop
The Great Hall: Too much Mask, what about Hall of the Paper Faces or Hall of the Unknown Faces lol is it too weird?...nah, stick with your title.
A Yuletide Mystery: <---I love that name whee but if we must change the name how about The Phantom Elves Mystic/Mystery sounds like a mouthful but I'll keep thinking of a new name.
Secret Santa: Hrmm...Givers in Disguises? hahahhaha
I closed down the Great Hall so I can start spiffing it up. What should go there? Any ideas besides announcements?
I really want to do the introduction thingy with all the Mods, Prefects, Honorary Members, Deputy Heads...can we do it even if our list of officials isn't complete? *puppy eyes*

I'm really fond of the Yuletide name too, so if we change everything else then I don't think people will make such a big deal out of it. Gaia has like half a million members and they still do Xmas events That was one of the best things I liked and I really hope you still do it! Just say that we may seem a bit short staffed at the moment, and that's all the more reason to join in because may they could be lucky enough to fill in the position. Where in the world happened to NJL?

As far as I know we are. We agreed on those rules I sent you. I'll PM her and ask her to look over the thread and tell me if there's anything I need to add to it. I'd like your opinion on that as well. Let me know if there's something else I need to add in.

Well I've got the last PM from the Givers in Disguises people and that should correspond with everything else! Between New Years Eve and New Years we'll be revealing everything. That's also the day we can take the masks off. For this to have been more successful I should have been telling people to get masks all along. Stupid me.

MEssage for Entrance Hall (To be released tonite!) The final and most stylish event of 2007 has arrived! All the members have brought out their finest evening wear to participate in The Holiday Masquerade! Not only that, but they're even wearing masks!! The faces aren't the only thing that's hidden this year. With the Givers and Disguises (hosted by Kaelyn_giselle and the_cereal_queen) and the YuleTide Mystery pure secrecy defines this event! However New Year 2008, all will be revealed! Will you be there when all the secrets of the year are revealed? I hope so! (While we understand about gold issues we strongly emphasize the importance of a mask in this term's event. If you are unable to afford a mask then please PM me, and I will supply you with one. My supply is limited and it's not much, just a regular MASQUE, but we want everyone to participate in this event! It is our final one of the year! Awards will be given out at the very end for the Most Hidden and The Best Dressed. (Icee's creative juices are out so I know that message isn't much, but it'll do for now)

This is where you can ask me or any other mod what the heck is going on in the crazy guild, as well as be able to put in your own input, be it negative or positive...
I have a question, how many posts to I have to do before I'm not a house elf any more???

All that information is found in the Entrance Hall. The minimum post for a house elf is 30 post for regular sorting days and 50 for early sorting (which will take place on January). To become a more active elf, you can join in with the roleplaying in the Giggling pear located in the Around Hogwarts subforum.

Okay, is the Xmas event complete? I think so/hope so. There's nothing else anyone wants to add? It is the Start of Term event, so I'll need to know any special annoucements/rules you guys want to set up so I can make sure Adonis posts it.
