Ranu glanced around. "I feel something bad too. Its not right." he knelt by the elf, whisperign an appology in Elvish as he picked her up and carried her to his horse, lying her on it then tying Sol to Sailas' saddle and leading both horses, whispering soothingly as they reared. Ranu swiftly led the horses after Amaroq.

Ranu stood back up, moving his elvish cloak and turning to hush Hrorik as he slid towards the Nazgul's screams. He gesgured for them to just run for it, then worked towards them. Thieves needed bait. So did escape. As he got closer, he drew in a shaky breath, trusting they'd take their chance, and that Sailas would follow them. He drew in a second, breaking into an elvish song as loud as he could. He heard a scream then an answering scream. "Let the hunt begin," The Ranger murmered, breaking into a sprint, heading west.

Although in a deep sleep bordering unconsciousness, Elrothiel still heard the screams. She opened her eyes, instantly reaching for her sword, stifling a cry as the movement reawakened the pain in her shoulder. It took a millisecond for her to realise that she was alone again save the horses, which were both close enough to easily give away her position to the Nazguls' advanced senses. Scared, but realising she wasn't going to be able to move, she laid her sword across her knees in resignation and waited.

Hrorik swore, but before he went back he took something from around his neck and handed it to Ranu,"There's supposed a ceremony when we do this, but for now it's just right. Take this, it is an old family heirloom that protects the wearer from all evil." After taking the elven necklace and giving his own to Ranu, Hrorik went back and ran like hell to reach the elf before the wings of hell did.

Hrorik reached the bush and slid neatly into it beside the elf and said,"My lady we are going to leave the horses here in order to throw off the Nazgul more in case Ranu...................in case they don't go for him." It was then the the great black wolf, Amaroq, came over the bush and landed on the other side of the elf. "It'll just be you and me atop Amaroq and don't worry, he runs faster and longer than most horses. Even Shadowfax would be hard put to outpace this wolf. Now I'm going to put you on his back and I would like for you to grab me round my middle and hold on for dear life. 'Cause we are going to FLY like hell itself is after us."

Just as Ranu finished singing, he heard it. A scream then galloping footfalls. "And so it begins." He sighed then broke into a sprint, speeding up as he ran west. Where would he go? He hoped Sailas would follow Sol, the wolf, two elves and human. He shook his head as he ran, hearing another scream. "COME ON!" He bellowed as loudly as he could manage, running at the river.

Elrothiel nodded, but wasn't really paying attention. The loping stride of the wolf was not doing her shoulder any good and in fact she was worried that it would undo everything that Ranu's magic had achieved. It couldn't be helped however. She gripped her shoulder tighter, her natural elven balance meaning that she didn't have to hold on to Hrorik to remain upright.
