Merlin the White Happy April Fools day everyone! Yeah... I got fooled this morning. Yesterday, the Purdue CS academic advisors sent an e-mail to all their students asking them to come in to sign something. When I showed up this morning, I was asked to sign a poster that said "April Fool's Day, Gotcha!" Fortunately, I was also given some yummy cake to make up for it!

My Dad got both my mom and I this morning so completely I'm mad I didn't catch on sooner. Basically, a freind of his has a long-liner comercial fishing boat, and my dad was trying to get me to go out working on it this summer (you can make between 20-30,000 dollars for 2 months of work on one of these boats). The only catch is, if you aren't careful around the lines, you can get home-made crucifixion wounds, thanks to super-size fishing hooks. Anyway, I caught on to the joke right as we pulled up to school.

I didn't even realize it was April Fools Day today for a couple of hours until my friend told me, I haven't done anything, nor have I really seen anything done to others yet (except for a guy in my Biochemistry class who tried to tell one of the members of his lab group that the had to redo their lab from yesterday, but he didn't believe him at all so it wasn't fun)

jonathan_black summer i thought it was still winter opps i think i have hybernated for too long hehe, I just got back from the Dominican Republic where it was mid 80s and sunny and I got a sunburn, so my body thinks it's time for summer now
