Amu twitched her finger, mumbling one word over and over again, "Yo...Yoshitsune........Yoshitsune..." Sha caughed up blood.
Nena paniced, "He's my moms boyfriend!!! Leave him alone!"

(*laughs maniacally* So deliciously twisted!!!)
The creature stared Amu right in the face. "Amu? Is that you? Everything's going dark... Where are you? I can't see you anymore! Don't leave me, please!!!" There was enough sorrow in the voice to rend most human hearts; the creature did its job well...
A jewel within its heart also glowed orange. It pulsed faintly, with the rhythm of a heartbeat...

The creature expired, letting out a sickening death rattle.
Inside, the gem still pulsed. Yoshitsune was still alive, in a sense... If he could be freed.
A dark portal opened, and small imps made of shadow appeared. If even one of them was able to claim the Soul Gem, for that is what Yoshitsune had become, they would become as strong as the original creature...
The creature's body sizzled and melted away, leaving behind the Soul Gem.
(Prepare for combat!)

Amu serged with pain, screaming. fealing every pain caused to Yoshitsune 100 times over.
Nena attacked the Imps.

They swarmed Nena in a tackle worthy of football. Thye were weak... But in numbers, they were strong. They worked as a team, using their collective strength to batter at Nena with mob tactics and brutish, underhanded techniques.

The Soul Gem pulsed faster; Yoshitsune was aware of his confinement, and of what was happening, and he was scared shitless.

she jumpped and reached where the gem was, only about five feet away. she made her way twards it.
Amu grew weaker.

Nena's fangs put a crack in the Gem.
Instantly, a white light appeared, and Yoshitsune's katanas were in Nena's hands. A faint voice could be heard from the backpack.
"...em pleH..."
