Gho the Girl rmcdra Gho the Girl So, I sign the lease to my apartment this Friday. And I have a cold, but liberal application of hydrogen peroxide to my oral and nasal orifices have helped me cleanse and/or expel a good amount of snot. Yay. Yay. I hate that congested feeling. Oh yeah I joined The Fellowship on facebook. I do too! But coughing up about a cup of snot over an hour period is a close tie. Hurrah! Mayhaps I can have another merc! Ugh I know right. Yeah I joined because I finally went through my alert messages and saw that you invited me.

Readings went well yesterday. Didn't get as much traffic as I had hoped, but it's a good start, and I have some things I plan to do differently for next time.

About to clean up the house a little bit - then try my hand at a simple bread recipe. Maybe some bread and salt will calm the house spirits. sweatdrop
Tea: I was thinking last night that I hadn't given you a good luck like I should have - then I thought "She's doing fine, of course!" Good to know I was right wink And I hope the people you read tell their friends and you get lots more business next time!

Calixti I, um, actually did learn social interaction cues from books and the internet, mostly. sweatdrop I also tend to be sort of awkward irl, probably because of a combination of that and anxiety. Books may or may not be dangerous, some are written explicitly for dramatis. Interweb is a sub culture with a special layer of non-accountability, which makes it a great place to develop bad habits, it also can atrophy the ability for non-verbal communication. Both are better, in my opinion, than reality TV. Which is a horrible mis-representation of how people live. Congratulations Tea and Gho. 3nodding

Gho the Girl So, I sign the lease to my apartment this Friday. Are you gonna be closer by to us? Or still in your town?

More of y'all should move to Central Illinois. Come to Normal! We have the lowest unemployment rate in the state!

IMO, being online doesn't make the communication any less 'real'--there's still another person on the other end. People using relative anonymity and lack of accountability to be jerks piss me off. Plus, internet communication? Far easier and less likely to trigger my anxiety. Provided I'm not the one initiating conversations, at least. *shrug*

Having a delayed opening at work would be fantastic if I could fall back asleep. The act of calling the weather hotline woke me up. The plan is now to take an epic bath soon.

maenad nuri More of y'all should move to Central Illinois. Come to Normal! We have the lowest unemployment rate in the state! If jobs out that way pay well enough, commuting might be a possible option.

Woke-up early today to go to school to find out that it had been cancelled because of snow. I couldn't go back to sleep, so I went outside in my pajama's to get a bowl of the stuff off the porch to make snow-cream.
I've never made a better snow-cream. Yum. whee
