Calida ^ why is vancouver always over-glorified? It's getting so difficult to live here as Vancouver's "glory" goes up.
We small town folk with nothing but a grocery store and a movie gallery find the idea of a city with multiple clothing stores and galleries fascinating.
As it's the biggest... welll...
It gets all the glory.
Minus the gang shootings of course.
And Hastings.

Vancouver gets as much glory from me as Toronto does
Except, Canucks kick a** and the Leafs, well, suck
I perfer my BCHL and WHL city, kthx. 3nodding
Only city in BC that hold two major hockey teams plus all the other pee wees and bantoms and all that 3nodding
All of which get jammed packed with fans come game day, 'cept with our WHL who suck stare

BC seems to have a LOT of private schools.and yet I don't know about any of them sweatdrop ..could be some near where I live and I wouldn't know surprised really.. we have 2 in our lil hick town ahha lol...maybe emerald would know...psst...emerald...are there any private schools around here? ninja sweatdrop

Treacherous Desire Because I'm 16 and my parents, due to the 'family business' cannot move anywhere particularily interesting. Hell. That can't move at all.
I really do hate it.
I can't afford anything in Vancouver and have to finish my school. lol...well, then..umm...I dunno sweatdrop ...finish school first smile

mystic_emerald Calida mystic_emerald Yes, yay for music majors! And Economics! Hehe. xd Calida, what did you specialize in? I'm planning to major in music through the BA and am still deciding what exactly I want to concentrate in. And I HATE calculus. I took it last year and because of those courses my average is way lower....but I needed them for Econ. crying I'm taking British Lit this year too. I was going for a B.Mus of Musicology but then quit... because it's just too focus. I enjoy torturing myself through other subjects. Yes, i'm very dry razz Hey, I enjoy dry humour myself. razz Look no further than calculus for torture and check out ratemyprofs for the dullest prof for the perfect touch. Wait, I don't think you even need to search for one at UBC... did you even understand calculus? I'm reading the textbook and I don't understand around 97% of what it's trying to tell me crying

And Hastings.hastings xd xd xd Hastings always gets put on a pedestal in a twisted way hehe. Don't know, I find that side of downtown having an interesting subculture of itself. The bus always passes by that area (esp. Main & Hastings) and I'm so tempted to just hop off and do some kind of photoshoot there.

Wait, I don't think you even need to search for one at UBC... You got the scoop for the dullest prof in UBC? I don't particularly mind "uninteresting" profs as long as they know what they are talking about. Boring is the least of an issue when it comes to eg. having a prof who's interesting, but ended up being an insanely hard marker--who babbles around only 5% worth of exam materials during lectures. stare P.S. Anyone pissed about the amount they blow on textbooks /sem!?
