sailormercury1 Schizophrenic Spork Hi! Just wanted to pop in here to announce that I now officially play trumpet! 4th trumpet in Jazz Band, heck yes!
And this is special because I'm a flute. ;D And piccolo. And now trumpet. mrgreen
So hello, my second section! Thats cool! I used to be A flute player too! mrgreen I only went to trumpet for Jazz band xD
Oh, and I'm third trumpet now... our first quit a week before the concert and totally screwed up the trumpet section. evil I hate that idiot. But our second trumpet did really really good on all the solos that he left her with a week to learn, so we did okay.

I only play brass. I do however play peck horn and baritone as well as trumpet. My family doesn't have alot of money, so I only have one trumpet and two 7C mouth peices. One with two big gashes on the side from being pulled out and one that is nice. I only started three years ago, so I'm not all that good. I can only get up to a high A. I am only in seventh grade thoough, so I think that is pretty ok.

I have an Olds Ambassador trumpet and a Jupiter flugelhorn, both played on a 7C. Don't really need anything else. Don't really want anything else, for that matter. I LOVE my Olds. It's a fantastic instrument. My only complaint about the flugelhorn is that it has three spit valves and I STILL have to take it apart to get the spit out.

I play a Bach, brass trumpet(school).I want my own silver trumpet, but hey, those are expensive.I am first chair at my school. We do marching, concerts, the regular stuff. I go to band camp every year. Which is pretty much awesome.And I am going to try out for our Jazz band next year. Oh, and not to mention, im great at high notes. I can play from a D way below the staff, to an F 4 bars above the staff, like a flute.

man oh man.... im getting sick and tired of being the one to blame.... i mane i might mess up a small part of the music but WTF!! im getting in trouble for no god damn reason........ (sorry for the language)..... i think i'll get out of band.......grrrrrrrr and i hate my music teacher, ARGH!! oh and i play a Benge(trumpet) (school) and its ok, except the teacher...... i hate 'em....

MacNak_Attack whats it like to play a pocket trumpet? It takes a little getting used to with how close you valves are to your face.. and The mouthpiece I got with it is a little smaller but other then that it's not really that much different then a rugualr trumpet.

I want a Silver Trumpet... Just can't afford it. I'm not sure what mouth piece I use on my school trumpet or my Cornet but My pocket Trumpet's is a 7c. I forget is it the bigger the number before the C the smaller it is or is it the otherway around?
