The white-haired delivery boy grew a short smile when the feral agreed to teach him. Then he reached into his pocket with his free hand and fished out his car keys. "My name is Lazaro." He answered in a charmed tone. "Chase Lazaro." Then Chase would spin the keys around his finger for a moment before catching them again. "Now, how would you like to go for a ride Ms...?" Chase paused and waited for Red to give him her name. Little did the racer know, he'd already guessed it.

"Well, Lola, I don't take rides from strangers..." Here she thought she heard it all. "Red. Just Red." The feral didn't extend a welcoming hand or any other customary greeting. This wasn't some hallmark holiday catalog. She didn't stop smiling though, the scarlet embers burning holes into the steelo blue wells. He wasn't human, certainly looked it but something was off. It was on the tip of her tongue, flicking behind pearly whites. "Maybe when you prove yourself. Also, my question still stands...what are you?" This time she stepped up to him, waiting for a moment before lifting the pizzas from his hand and setting them off onto a random work bench. Then the redhead focused again on Chase, awaiting his answer.

Novice Citizen When Red came at him and more or less tore him a new a*****e. He had just looked at her in shock but when she turned away, his face turned a bright reddish-pink. At first it was from embarrassment and then from... Anger? No, just extreme frustration, because Red was right. 90 percent of the people in this room fed on the human race. In fact Ferals, Red's race could if they so chose. Suddenly he realized the full extent of the disadvantage he was at, now came the anger.
Despite Red's aggressive recommendation that he get back to training he had to vent first. He slowly walked over to a dummy, one of the hardwood ones used for body hardening for some of the martial arts, and struck it as hard as he could with his fist. The sound was almost inaudible, whereas most of the other trainees would make a thunderous *chock*, he could also see some dent's in the wood from some of the more hard bodied trainees. These observations fueled his anger and he struck the dummy, again and again, until his knuckles were bloody and raw. Then he struck with his other hand a few times and even gave it a kick for good measure. But he didn't walk away just yet. He stood there breathing deeply, slowly, and deliberately. He wouldn't be able to focus on any task until he calmed down. A few drops of blood were beginning to fall from his fingertips, so he violently wiped it onto his pants with no amount of grace. "Goddammit," the anger choked off the word despite Jaces voice being barely at a whisper. xxxSTATSX Strength: 6 X Speed: 10 (15 when dodging)X Energy: 750 xWEAPONSDagger Semi-Automatic X2xxAmmo 24 (180 max)xxxRight Hand Mag: 3 (12 max)xxxLeft Hand Mag: 0 (12 max)

Greed
The Devil's Advocate • Rank: Adept • bloodline: Diobolus • Class: Berserker • currently equipped: Bottom right picture • feeling:
Feared Exalted Evil? As Chase practically volunteered himself to be lunch, Greed shook his head in desbelief but ignored the event. If the human wanted to be chow, that was his problem. But then... Red went off on him. Watching the Redhead manhandle the gunslinger would actually make Greed laugh. A real, full hearted laugh. Not at Jaces predicament, but at the severity of which she had reacted amused the demon highly. Then, he would see Jace walk over to the dummy and begin punching it. The demon would watch in interest as the human hit until his knuckles were raw. The demon sighed, realizing that the little gunslinger was getting picked on today. First by Greed right off the bat, then Red. Sure, he wasn't the brightest crayon in the box and got himself into bad situations but today was just not Chase's day. Greed decided to get up and helped the human, and would walk over to him. "Hey Kiddo, Red's right. She's just looking out for your squishy a**. If you think about it, me and that elf over there are probably the only people that wouldn't turn you into a three course meal. Just keep it in mind man, this is Nocturne. Where humans are more of a hot commodity than a race. But listen, don't focus on your physical strength. Focus on your brain. You humans are technologically smart. Maybe lacking in common sense in your case, but I know your IQ is probably way higher than most people in this rooms. Besides the elves over there, I feel like i need a dictionary to talk to him. Anyways, my point is focus on your smarts, and your aim. You've got a good aim, that much is clear. Don't worry about your physical strength. Anyways, when you're done throwing your b***h fit i'll help you train." Greed said, chuckling at the end of the sentence. Sure, he meant to build chase up right now. But Greed just couldn't resist throwing in a quick jab. It was just how he worked. Jack Ridgevale Rank: Trainee Energy:350/350 Strength/Speed: 6/5 Active Machines: RoacherAs Jack watched, the new vampire had asked for a position, and as soon as someone volunteered, the feral had chastised the volunteer severely. He didn't mind this much, but as he watched the other human storm off and start attempting to beat on a training dummy, he felt he should at least give one of such a plain lineage a piece of advice. As he strode past the diabolus and the gunslinger and went over to a workbench, he said, " Stick with your guns. Humans like us are inherently weak." As sat down at the workbench, he mulled over his own statement, and started looking at the replicas he had made so often, casting aside some spare bits for his Roacher to take care of. (Testing out some features on this guild to make it easier for others. Hope it helps.)

Chase playfully shrugged his shoulders and put the pizzas down on a nearby table. "We aren't strangers though." He corrected her while he tucked his keys back into his pocket and handed himself a slice of pepperoni pizza. Even if he thought he was right, Chase didn't seem like he was expecting Red to agree to ride with him anyways. "I know your name, and you know mine. As for what I am, well..." Chase faced the red-head and paused to take a bite of his pizza. He tilted his head and looked up as if he was trying to remember something. "Well..." Chase paused again to swallow his food before speaking, building up the suspense of his answer even more. "I'm a Scorpio. What about you? Wait, no, let me guess...Leo? No...Pisces." He coyly guessed at her zodiac sign.

"Well congrats. Let me go mark that down on my calendar." If he wanted to be a smartass, she very well could be also. It was justifiable. Plus, she didn't remember...all of that was fuzzy, lost and forgotten because it never really mattered to begin with. Her birth was better left alone.
Red was growing impatient, something was clawing at chalkboards inside her cortex. There was no shelter from the storm, a chaotic enigma wrapped in pretty porcelain packaging and tied in a shiny red bow. "You need to train, Lola. Now either stop dicking around or go back delivering shitty pizzas." A smirk was still firmly planted on her fine features.

When Jace offered to be trained by Velox, Alistair smirked. Kid would just be a source of food for the man. So weak. He wouldn't stand a chance if Velox were to lose control. Red was right to stop him from volunteering; if Jace were stronger, Alistair would have no problem with this plan. But there was nothing Velox could offer to a mere Novice. Most of what Velox gave to Alistair didn't help him until he made it to Adept rank. *Instead on focusing on what was destroyed, focus on what was gained. The bloodthirst should be nothing compared to that other side of you... you controlled it did you not? The two species aren't so different. Both have something that need to be kept in check... This is what makes me view this change as a gift rather than a curse.*

"Ήμουν κάποτε σαν εσένα, αλλά στη συνέχεια έμεινα έξω μετά τον ύπνο μου."
xxxxx Vahn sighed as a commotion was brought about from the offer Velox brought up. Vahn honestly wasn't interested with dancing with the devil in the pale moonlight, mainly because Velox and Vahn probably wouldn't get along. Velox was about chaos and Vahn was about order and stability through control. Vahn continued reading, only to lower his book to say; "I don't need training. What I NEED is a test to become a novice. I tried to get it from the previous king of Nocturne, but he's...busy at the moment...that and somewhere else." Vahn kept reading after that, pretty sure that he had lost a conversational partner and gained three new annoyances in the long run. Most unbefitting of a future king in the making.

Novice Citizen When Greed approached Jace at first he let his head fall back and give a sigh. He didn't want a pity party he just wanted to take out his frustrations. Nonetheless he listened intently to what Greed had to say, and agreed with most if not all of it. Even another human in the building had passed by and offered about the same advice but in not quite so many words. Jace talked to Greed first "Yeah, you're right and I know it. I'll be honest I didn't want a damn pity party, but you did calm me down so I guess that's what matters. I know I'm a rabbit among wolves right now, but I can tell you now that I'll move up the food chain eventually." Jace looked towards the human real quick, he would offer a few words to acknowledge his advice. "Yeah I guess it's better to be smart than strong these days, at least for humans." Jace turned back to Greed and took a look at his hand. He moved it around a bit but it was nothing that would prevent him from training. "Well, I might decline your offer thinking it was a pity offer... but I don't think that's in your character. Plus Red says we'll be going on a mission together after my training hits the brick wall again, so I'd say its a good chance to... bond I guess for lack of a better word."
Jace glanced at Vahn, he'd have to apologize later for the abrupt end to their conversation. xxxSTATSX Strength: 6 X Speed: 10 (15 when dodging)X Energy: 750 xWEAPONSDagger Semi-Automatic X2xxAmmo 24 (180 max)xxxRight Hand Mag: 3 (12 max)xxxLeft Hand Mag: 0 (12 max)

Chase routinely shrugged off Red's commands. He wasn't the type for taking orders or following them, but he wasn't trying to be an a*****e about it either. "Patience is a virtue." He nonchalantly lectured the feral captain. "Besides, I like dicking around." Chase stared at Red, but knew that she probably wouldn't find him very amusing. Without wasting more time, he took a more serious tone with her. "So, how are you going to train me then?"

He was trying her nerves but her face did not harden or show any sign of aggression. Lips remained slightly pressed, the vermilion gaze fractioned and almost seductive. Honestly, it wasn't surprising that he liked dicking around, he seemed like the type of guy to enjoy his toys. She bet that his ride was some gleamingly shiny piece of work. The only thing was, she had a job to do, so joy riding around Noc wasn't possible. At least not at this very moment.
"Well some of your skills you will read and practice with dummies, then usually I give you missions to do. Depending on what your elemental is or maybe hand-to-hand, I am willing to help you spar instead of using a dummy. Those things don't have the gull to fight back."
She smiled, arms crossing as her should pressed against a wooden pillar. This was like trying to sell a used car to a quizzing customer, really she shouldn't have to but she wanted Noc to have a wide range of power and people. It needed an army and she was will to bite her tongue to make it happen.
"So you in or out?" Red asked, awaiting his answer.

Jack Ridgevale Rank: Trainee Energy:350/350 Strength/Speed: 6/5 Active Machines: RoacherAfter looking at the schematics for the process of making add-ons, he figured he would save it for later, thinking he should at least get some elemental skills out of the way first. He first started again with flame daggers. It seemed somewhat simple, but was harder than it looked, as it seemed difficult to make the daggers on all of his fingers at once. Whilst he was doing this, he jumped a bit as he realized that the Roacher had decided that his chair was trash. As he looked at the roacher, it turned its head to the side, somewhat confused about why its master was shocked that he had done his job [1/2] [Learning: Flame Daggers 1/2]

Chase considered Red's training proposal for a moment and then closed his pizza box. "In, at least until I find something better to do." He answered Red before popping the slice of pizza in his mouth and walking over to her. "Himma trishter mby 'a way." Chase continued to speak with his mouth full. He paused shortly after, however, to swallow his food. "So I guess we should focus on my speed training, right?"
