Man! I took Louie as my guide the first 2 times, and Edmund the thrid.
The first time I was doing awesome until I had to decide between the volcano or the ocean route. I chose ocean, and suddenly before I reached the second landmark, 3 of my crew died suddenly, my food got "stolen" or "ruined" , and my ammo depleted while I was trying to recoup the food. So my last 2 crew starved to death. It pissed me off!
The second go, I didn't make it out of the woods. Between each landmark a crew member just died. That's it. Oh! Except for the random events which either gave me loot; or "healed" a dead crew member... but it didn't bring them back to life... it just raised their health... but they were dead... so it didn't help.
I lost 3 people almost instantly when I had Edmund. I thought that he was supposed to boost health! Anyway, I made it past the volcano, but I had lost all my ammo in the volcano area. I still had plenty of food for 2 people though, but then I had like 4 events in a row that took food every time. So in the end we starved.

yeh, with Louie at first, he kept wasting all our Food, and oot, and his bad Luck kept getting us killed. xp died in the second stretch of the Forest.
i picked Edmund 2nd, and did WONDERFULLY, even into the desert! biggrin we lost one man in teh Desert, but made it to the Volcano. about half-way through we all died. ._.
today i went my third bout, again with Edmund, and we had bad luck. xp just made it to the Ocean and died again. xp
it's probably that i suck at hunting... sweatdrop i keep wasting ammo.

I think the next time I try it, I am going to see how far I can get using Carl. I seriously want to dare them to make it worse than my second go with Louie.

Yeah that sucked. I had a perfect hunting trip before I even made it to the first checkpoint, but the deer I killed must have been Carl's girlfriend because he killed us all as we started in the airship again. Didn't even make it to the first checkpoint.

apparrently you get killed if you shoot at any Deer.
just hear dit from a friend.
yeh, i don't expect to get to play Carl, what with my order of priority. xd

Yeah, I eat deer. I was hoping we would have the opportunity to shoot Carl if we ran out of food. I love Venison!

When I was a kid, there was a big stink about animal cruelty and the possibility of the white tailed deer becoming over-hunted, so the conservation department stopped the public season for a couple of years. The population exploded and the deer were ruining entire fields. So they opened season up again, but the deer were so over-populated that they ended up contributing to the spread of a couple different diseases. It was the same years that Lime's Disease ended up becoming the headline Summer disease. Now every other year or so, they have a double season.

some folks are too biased and extreme, and too stupid. and that's a realy bad combo. xp it's equaly as bad a combo as stupid and stupid. xp

Finished the game! ^.^ (with my brother's help. He wanted to play for a while. Don't ask why. He said "It's entertaining". lawl.)

Well, you can hunt every 100 miles, so I take advantage of the hunting while I can in the forest. Then I go through the desert non-stop (well I rest if we need to). Then I hunt every 100 miles while we go through the ocean until my food stores are full an then I maintain it. I can seem to get through the volcano with only one or two hunts.
I haven't been able to finish yet because my people always experience random death. Like chasing the damn moth overboard. I was within 40 miles of the Jellyfish and all my people had died but one, and then he stupidly chased the moth as well. crying Dumbasses.
