Mud Sport's useless as hell for Ground types; that we cannot deny.
BUT! If we were to breed it to oh say... Squirtle...
Huh... even Treecko can get it as an Egg move.
Also Mud Sport effects everybody, not just the user.

 I never found any of the Sports very useful at all honestly. Why halve the effectiveness of just one type of move when you can get Light Screen/Reflect support?

If Mud Sport was introduced in Gen III, I'd say it's primarily for double battles, and more of an assistance move.

Still, it's one type. Use it for the corresponding Gym and that's it; any regular trainer will have more than one type on their belt.

Lady Psycho Sexy Still, it's one type. Use it for the corresponding Gym and that's it; any regular trainer will have more than one type on their belt.

Now I begin to wonder why Magemite and it's evolutions DON'T have Levitate as an Ability, but I suppose it's to make things fair enough to contest against it's Steel type. That and there's always Magnet Rise.
But enough about that. I should head off as well.
